Brooklyn Paris has been with her boyfriend Joseph Burke for 13 years! They began 'dating' at the age of 10. Of course, at this age, 'dating' just meant they told their friends they were dating! Things didn't become 'serious' until they were 14. At this age Brooklyn and Joseph mostly held hands, hung out more outside of school, and shared an occasional cheek kiss. They didn't have their first REAL kiss until they were 15. Finally at 16 they told their families and were now allowed to double date only. Both if them coming from very strict, successful families, what they were and were not allowed to do was limited. Brooklyn and Joseph were not allowed to go on single dates until they were 18. Joseph also came from a Military family, meaning at 18 he joined the military and was away for 3 years. But Brooklyn did not lose hope or forget. As a matter of fact, everyday that he was away, Brooklyn prayed for him and prayed one day he would come home safely! He returned at the age of 21 but not for long. Only long enough to check up on Brooklyn who was now in college studying to be a teacher. They decided then to move in together. Once he turned 22, Joseph went back to the mikitary for a year where he helped as a drill sergeant. Brooklyn was lonely but managed to keep herself distracted. Having her parents there to try and force B into being a Lawyer instead of a teacher, made that easier. But now, John has come home! And can be with his loving girlfriend, once again.
