GRAY'S POV

I'm on my way to the Mira's cafe for a get-together. When I saw the address sent to me by Lucy, I came to know this place was quite near to my house.

So I decided to walk over there instead of using car as I'm health conscious.

Juvia left for her part-time an hour before. She told the place where she is going to work is near as well.

Moreover, she assured me that place is safe and is run by her acquaintance and was suggested by some trustworthy.

That's why, I agreed. Even though, I'm no one to interfere in her personal space.

But still, I'm worried about her wellbeing till the time we are together at most.

"Here it is, Mira's Paradise" The place looked fancy.

As I enter the cafe, even the interior decor is stunning and extravagant.

I guess, Mira has used up her husband, Laxus' savings to fulfill her dream.

I saw all my classmates and my friends enjoying themselves while Mira and few girls serving their orders.

"Yo Ice-princess, we are over here." Just then, an ugly voice called me out. It was none other than my best friend, Natsu Dragneel.

I waved at him and went to the larger table were all my other friends were seated.

"Hi guys, how are you all?" I smiled and sat next Erza who had her baby girl on her laps clapping.

"Hi Gray, we are fine. It's been 5 months since we saw you. Where have you been?" Lucy inquired.

"Yeah Gray, you didn't even come to our house warming function." Levy Redfox, another friend of mine, pouted.

I smiled sheepishly, "I'm fine. I have been busy lately with work and stress. Forget about the past, now we are here. Let's enjoy, what do you say Jellal?" I glanced at him. He nodded.

"Hey she-demon, why don't you attend us?" Gajeel Redfox, Levy's husband called out Mira with her nickname.

"Coming right, up" I heard her voice from behind.

JUVIA'S POV

I'm really thrilled to start this job. Morning, I informed Gray-sama and left early, so that I won't be late on the very first day.

As the cafe is near to my place, I decide to walk upto there.

It's been 4 years since I last saw Mira-San. I'm excited to meet her as well.

The cafe looked cool and rich. As I opened the door, I was mesmerized with the interior decor as the walls were painted in red and white colour with few murals, dream catchers, wall paintings and a chandelier.

"Wow it's amazing." I look around as I enter.

Just then someone taps my shoulder. I turn around to face the person and it was Mira-San with her pretty smile.

"Hi Juvia-chan, you have grown up into a fine lady. How are you?"

I smiled, "I'm good, Mira-San. It's been a while since I last saw you. How are you?"

Then we conversed for few minutes and served me some of her special menu.

"Juvia-chan, are you ready to start your job? Today I have organised a friendly gathering for my friends no outside customers. So feel free and don't worry. You will do it finely." She encouraged me.

"Thank you, Mira-San. I will do my best and keep your name high." I saluted her proudly for which she giggled.

Just then, the door opened to reveal my friends whom I have know since my middle school.

"Hi Lucy-San, Levy-San, Erza-San" I greeted them.

"Hello Juvia-chan" They said in unison and gave me a group hug, while there husbands were behind them carrying their kids waved at me.

"Ju-chan, it's been 4 years since I last saw you. You look beautiful." Levy-San complimented me.

"Yeah, Rain drop has grown up." Gajeel-kun joined our conversation.

I have known him since my childhood as he was my neighbour.

The reason, I know all of them is because during the last year of my middle school, a group of girls first college students were shifted opposite to my apartment then which I and my dad were living in it.

Soon we got along . They treat me like their little sister, even I see them as my big sisters.

As Gajeel-kun occupied the apartment which was adjacent to mine, Levy-San and him also got to know each other like that they got together.

Now there husbands, back then were their boyfriends. So whenever they used to visit their girls, I got to them as well.

"Even Gajeel-kun looks cool. Hey can I carry him? What's his name?" My eyes sparkled when I saw the toddler in his arms.

As I carried the little boy in my arms, he smiled at me. His name is Shou Redfox who looks so cute just like his mother but with black mane.

Then I shifted my attention to the baby boy in Natsu-San's arms. His name is Luke looks so cute, an exact copy of his father except for Lucy-San's hair colour.

Then finally I went to meet the baby Rosemary on Jellal-San's arms who slept peacefully even she is an exact copy of her mother.

Then after chatting for sometime with them and getting to know their slice of life. I went to do my work as slowly more people came to the cafe.

Mira-San introduced me to her sister Lissanna, her sister-in-law Evergreen and other girls who would be working in this cafe. They were really sweet and friendly.

So the place became rambunctious as the people were rowdy, laughing and talking about their life events in an animated manner to each other.

"Juvia-chan, Gajeel is calling me over there. I'm kinda a busy dealing with my husband's friends. So why don't you attend them?" Mira-San kindly asked my help.

I went upto the group after passing through many people. When I reached their group, my eyes widened due to shock as I saw Gray-sama sitting in front of me even he looked startled.

But I composed myself and stood there as if I don't know him.

"Hey Juvia, get us the special menu for today?" Natsu ordered for everyone while others nodded there head.

As I turned to leave, Lucy-San caught hold of my wrist. "Hey Juvia, do you remember him?" She asked pointing Gray-sama.

It looks like he's a friend of them which I didn't know until now.

"No Lucy-San, it's my first time seeing him. Who is he?" I asked sheepishly without making eye contact with Gray-sama.

Just then, someone caught hold of my shoulder and pulled him towards them.

GRAY'S POV

As Gajeel called Mira to get our order, instead of her, someone else comes who I happen to know very well.

"Juvia"  I mentally shouted, even she looked startled but as usual maintained the formal decorum.

Natsu ordered the meals for us. As she began to go, Lucy caught hold of her and stopped her.

Then she asked her whether she know me for which Juvia replied she doesn't know me which kinda hurts. I wonder how Lucy and others know her.

Just then, my another playboy best friend Loke, wraps his arm around Juvia and pulls her towards his chest and begans to flirt.

"Hey beautiful, do you know me?"

"No, I guess, I don't." Juvia casted him a confused look.

Loke got down on his knees and took her left hand to give a small kiss and smirked.

"My name is Loke. Are you single?"

Juvia blushed at his gesture and withdrew her hand from his palm. I was feeling awkward and tensed by his behaviour.

"Oh nice name, Sir. Now excuse me.." Juvia began to move but again he hugged from behind, "Beautiful just spend sometime with me."

Just then Lucy smacked him on his head and pulled him aside, "Juvia , sorry about his behaviour. Carry on your work." Lucy smiled and sent are away.

Lucy and Erza scolded him while my focus was on Juvia as she went behind the curtains.

"Yo Ice-princess, quit staring at her like a pervert. She is too young for your age." Natsu mocked me.

"Shut up, Flame-brain. I was just looking at the….the...lights...okay. Moreover, she is just 5 years younger than me." I said as I sipped the juice.

The girls raised their eyebrow and looked at me. Erza broke the silence, "How do you exactly know she is 5 years younger?"

I spat out the content of my juice and everyone now looked at me with curiosity to know my reply.

"Hey I just made a guess. She does look young and pretty unlike you old hags." I said in an uninterested tone.

"How dare you call us old hags?" The girls gave a deadly glare to me which made me shiver.

Sensing the wild and fathom atmosphere, Jellal intervened, "Hey guys, let's talk about something else."

Just then Mira and Juvia brings our order and serves us. "Thank you" I smile at her for which she blushes.

When she goes upto Loke, again he flirts with her which made me feel uncomfortable and tensed up.

Erza snaps me out of my thoughts, "Gray, do you happen to like my Juvia?" I blushed and looked away from her.

"Yeah, from that time, I'm watching you stealing glances of her. So have you finally moved on?" Natsu teased me.

Juvia looked at me hoping to hear a positive answer but remained on my stead.

"No, I still bear the sweet memories of my Stella. There is no room for any other girl in my heart apart from her."

Juvia bowed her head down and began to move, that's when Gajeel asked her out of concern.

"Rain drop, how's uncle Rave? Do you guys still live there?"

Juvia's face suddenly changed into a sad expression and tears were streaming down her eyes.

Mira consoled her by hugging soon the other girls joined her.

"Metal head, you made her cry." Natsu scolded him.

Once she calmed down, she informed her dad passed away few months back, just 2 weeks before our marriage. I felt bad as I never asked about her personal life due to my ego.

Like that we spent few more hours in the cafe, I heard Mira telling her to come by at 5 and leave at 8 and pay was around 8000J.

Slowly one by one, everyone began to leave after thanking Mira for her hospitality.

"Okay guys, we are leaving. Gray, do come around and visit us. Come Natsu and Lucy, we will drop you both on the way." Jellal and Erza said unison.

"Sure, come Levy-chan. Gray, Loke, what about you guys?" Lucy asked as she carried the little boy in her arms.

"I will stay for sometime so that Juvia doesn't feel lonely." Loke winked at them.

Lucy looked at me, "I will stay with him here for awhile."

Girls cooed, "Go on Gray, we know what that look means." Levy winked while others smirked.

'Of course, I have stay so that this idiot doesn't disturb my wife.' I thought to myself.

After they left, Loke continuously talked about Juvia and other random girls to his heart content.

"Okay Mira-San, I will take my leave. Bye see you tomorrow." Juvia waved at her and left the cafe.

"Juvia wait for us." Loke grabbed my hand and went behind her.

After catching upto her in the road, Juvia turned around and greeted us again with a smile.

"I will drop you at home, Juvia." Loke offered her while I rolled my eyes.

"No it's okay, Loke-San. I can go by myself." Juvia began to move but again Loke stopped her. Man!!! How persistent is he? Can't you see she is clearly not interested in you?

Juvia looked at me to intervene in their conversation.

"Hey Loke, leave her alone. Will you?" I hissed at him.

Loke sighed in defeat, "Man, you are hard to get but I won't lose hope. Who ever your boyfriend is? He must be lucky enough to have you. Bye beautiful.."

Loke left, leaving us alone. We looked at each other and laughed.

"Come Juvia, let's go home."

"Okay Gray-sama".
