NEXT DAY

JUVIA'S POV

I was still lying in my bed wide awake until my best friend who came running frantically.

"Juvia-chan, get up it's 8:30. You have to get ready."

She stopped abruptly when she saw me,

"Why are you still laying on the bed?"

I turned myself to avoid her question,

"Meredy-chan, please leave me alone."

Meredy came to sit next to me on the bed, gently patted my arm,

"Juvia-chan, why? What happened? Are you alright?"

I huffed and turned to face her with tears streaming down my eyes,

"Meredy-chan, I don't know what to do. Yesterday, I agreed to uncle but how can I get married when my dad just passed away 2 weeks back."

I got and buried my face in her lap,

"I don't whether this is right or wrong. I'm confused. Even that Gray-sama looks terrific. I'm scared."

Meredy gently ran her hand up and down on my back,

"Juvia-chan, don't be like this. I'm sure Uncle Rave will be happy for you.
Moreover, your Uncle Silver did say right, you are his responsibility that's why, he wants you to marry his son."

"But Meredy-chan, how will someone like him change under my influence?
I really doubt something must be cooking in his head, that's why, he has agreed to marry me after all those things happened to him." I finally told her my confusion.

"Don't worry, Juvia-chan. Nothing will happen, have faith and trust your uncle.
I believe this path has many good things in store for you. Trust me, you will lead a happy life from now.
Don't tell me even till now that thing is bothering you?" Meredy asked me.

I quickly got up realizing the matter which was talking about,

"No Meredy-chan, that is my past. Now let's forget about that. I really hope Gray-sama is someone who is compatible with me. Let's see if your words come true." I hugged her.

"I will miss you, Juvia-chan"

"Even I will miss you, Meredy-chan"

Just then, we heard the door bell,

"Looks like Mr.Julius has come to fetch us. You go and get ready. I will attend the door."

She patted my shoulders and left with a smile.

AFTER SOMETIME

"Juvia-chan, are you ready?...."

Meredy walks in and stops in mid after looking at the attire I'm wearing.

"What's this Juvia-chan? You are getting married today. You shouldn't wear these long sleeved shirt and jeans.
At least, get out of your conservative thinking. See Uncle Silver has got you a white frock. Just wear this, it will look lovely on you." Meredy gave me the dress.

"But.....but...how can I wear this? I feel shy." I blushed.

I have never worn anything which made feel exposed because I don't like showing my skin.

"Oh not this again, Juvia-chan. You are wearing this, got it?" Meredy glared at me.

I had no other go, so agreed to this. After wearing the white frock, of course, she helped me. Then finished the final touch by giving a subtle makeup.

"Wow Juvia-chan, you look pretty and gorgeous. I bet that Gray will fall for you.
Trust me, you look beautiful. Come let's take a selfie to capture how beautiful you look."

Meredy took her mobile and closed the gap between us by throwing her arm around my shoulders.

"Now say cheese, soon-to-be bride."

"Cheese"

Finally, we clicked the pic which turned out quite good much to our likings.

Then Mr.Julius called us and took us to the court where my wedding was going to be registered.

GRAY'S POV

"Yo Gray, you look good in this suit but not upto my match."

Lyon teased me while adjusting my coat.

"Shut up, I and you know who is more handsome. So be quite and move out of the way."

I left him and went to meet my dad who was waiting at the entrance for that girl.

"Dad, it's already 9:45. Where the hell is she?" I exasperated at him.

"Gray, my son, listen I didn't tell her that if you marry her, you will be the CEO of our company.
I want you to lead a happy life with her, if you do something and make that girl sad and heartbroken.
Believe me, I will make her the new CEO instead of you." My dad said sternly.

I began to sweat thinking whether dad knows my plan or not.

"No dad, it's nothing like that. I wholeheartedly agreed to marry her.
Believe me, all I wanted is you to be happy. That's why, I don't plan to do anything fishy."

I sheepishly laughed while my dad glared at me with a slit eyed expression.

"Okay I believe you. Now go and wait for her inside."
Dad shushed me off.

"Damn it"

I hissed which wasn't audible to him.

SILVER'S POV

"I can't believe this boy. Hope he changes his mind."

I mumbled under my breath.

Just then, my Audi car enters the venue.

"Looks like Juvia has come."

Julius gets down and opens the car,

"Ma'am, you can get down now."

Slowly Juvia gets down the car, when I saw her, it reminded me of how her mother, my bestfriend's wife looked during her wedding ceremony.

Juvia looked exact replica of Renee, her mother, all she inherited from Rave was only his eye and hair colour.

"Uncle, I'm sorry. It took little extra time to get ready. Please forgive me."

Juvia apologised for coming late.

"It's okay, dear. You are 10 minutes early anyways. Juvia, you look gorgeous. Come in your groom is waiting for you."

I smiled and lead her and her bestfriend in.

JUVIA'S POV

As Uncle lead us inside one of the rooms in the court, I saw Gray-sama and a silver-haired man who looks around his age waiting for us.

I saw that another man was smiling while the man of my concern remained stoic and turned around to face the officer.

"Hey Juvia-chan, your soon-to-be husband looks so handsome and manly. I envy you.
Even the guy besides him looks handsome."

Meredy whispered in my ears.

"Then why don't you try your luck on him."

I smirked which made her to blush.

"Now let's focus on your wedding. Juvia, you are really lucky. Hope you find happiness and soulmate in him."

Meredy hugged me and patted my back.

"Juvia dear, this is Lyon, my only nephew."

Uncle introduced that silver-haired man.

"Hi Lyon-San" I smiled.

"Hi Juvia-chan"

"Hi to you, young lady"

Lyon greeted us with a warm smile.

I could see Meredy blushing and wished him back.

"Lyon, why don't you advise your cousin to wish his soon-to-be wife?"

Uncle taunted Gray-sama.

"Hi there"

Gray-sama greeted me with a scowl on his face.

"Hi Gray-sama"

I tried to smile but soon he turned around.

'God, that hurts.'

I thought to myself.

"So Juvia-chan, give me your ID card. And yours also Gray."

We gave our ID cards to the officer and then uncle gave some other documents.

After verifying everything, the officer gave the marriage certificate for us to sign on it.

Gray-sama signed the certificate and gave his pen to me for signing.

I looked around Uncle and Meredy-chan, they smiled and blinked their eyes as an indication.

I prayed to my father and mother, hope they shower their blessings on us.

Finally, I signed the certificate then Uncle brought out a pair of wedding ring.

"Gray, Juvia, here take the rings and wear it around each other's finger." Uncle smiled.

We both took the ring and looked into each other's eyes. I had to lift my head a bit higher to meet his dark blue orbs.

For the first time, I saw him smile. A smile which made my heart flutter and warm. Hope, he did it consciously. I really hope so.

I smiled back and extended my left hand. He gently wore the ring on my finger by holding my hand.

Gray-sama's hands are so warm and callous.Then it was my turn, I wore the ring on his finger.

"Congratulations my son, Juvia dear"

"Congrats cousin, Juvia-chan"

"Congratulations Mr.Gray, Juvia-chan."

"May you both lead a happy and blessed life ahead. Gray, she is your responsibility now. Understood." Uncle wished us.

"Yes dad. I understood, now she is my wife. She is my responsibility. I will take care of her."

Gray said with a smile which made me feel special.

"Thank you everyone for your kind wishes."

I thanked them.

GRAY'S POV

"Thank you everyone."

I thanked them and looked towards my dad who had a gleeful expression which made him look disgusting.

"So now that you are married, let tell where you guys want to go for honeymoon? I will book your air tickets." He asked.

I could see the blush creeping across her pale face. She bowed her head down due to embarrassment while her friend was teased her.

I shouted, "Dad, shut up. Just now, we got married. What's the need for honeymoon so fast?
Just give us some time to cope up with this unexpected moment."

My dad chuckled, "Okay Gray, Juvia dear, don't worry, I understand your feelings.
Just tell me, whenever you are ready. Now come let's go to your new house."

I and that girl were in my car while my dad, Lyon, that another girl and Julius were in his car which was leading our car.

Apparently my new wife, is someone of shy type. She even hesitated to sit next to me.
But I didn't care and made sure to keep some distance between us.

I kept my gaze to the road side to avoid seeing her face. Then on by mistake, my fingers brushed her palms which made her squeal on surprise.

"What?"
I asked sternly.

She began to fidget,

"I'm so sorry. Please forgive...I....I..."

I stopped her in mid as it was annoying to hear her stammer,

"Geez, will you stop that? It's annoying. Now keep quiet, will you!!!"

With that statement of mine, I'm sure by now, she would have known my true personality.

'How will I get rid of her now without my dad gets to know about this?
Moreover, I don't want to hurt this innocent girl who fell for my dad's trap. I'm sorry, girl.
I never want to hurt you but looks like you will be the bait in my plan.' I thought to myself.

I turned around to face her only to see her tearing up and tears streaming down her eyes.

I didn't bother to console her so that she doesn't get the wrong idea.

Once the car stopped, I went out and she wiped the tears so that dad doesn't question about it.

"So Gray, Juvia, do you like your new house?" He smiled.

I simply nodded my head, while she said, "Yeah Uncle, it looks adorable. I love it."

"Juvia dear, now you are my daughter-in-law call me Father. From now on, I'm like your father so you are like my daughter. Got it?"

Dad looked happy and was waiting for her response.

"Sure Father, I got it." She smiled.

Then he lead us inside the new house, I must say this house is really good and is built according to my taste.

I really liked it only if I was alone not with an extra luggage.

"So Juvia dear, this place might be a bit far from your college. Don't worry about that I will arrange a driver for you. He will take you to and fro from the college."

Dad was telling as she was looking at the kitchen with curious eyes along with her friend.

"No Father, it's okay. I will manage. I don't want to be a burden to you anymore." She said in shyness.

"Yeah, that's because you have became a load for me now." I thought to myself.

"Gray, you are thinking out loud. Don't forget uncle is right in front of you." Lyon nudged my stomach.

"Yeah I know"

I rolled my eyes and sat in the couch. Soon Lyon followed me there.

"Gray, why don't you give a try with this girl? I'm sure she is the one who will remove all the darkness and sadness within you and melt your stone cold heart." Lyon said in a soft voice.

"I know what I should do with my life. Thanks for this advise. Hahahaha.."

I sarcastically remarked at him while he smiled foolishly.

After few hours, my dad and others left our place leaving me and her alone.

As she went in, I went to get something from my car.

After getting that, I saw her sitting on the couch looking around the ceiling like a crazy person.

"Hey Locksar"

Luckily I remembered her last name. I don't want to sound too friendly by calling her in first name.

She looked confused, "Yes Gray-sama. Do you need something?" She asked in fear.

"Here take this and do want it says" I handed her the envelope.

She looked so confused and slowly opened the envelope to read the contents on the sheets.

Her eyes widened in shock and she looked at me with those beautiful blue orbs,

"Just sign the contract".
