To me writing and reading are one way to get away from everything that's happening around me.

It's like a portal into another world. A world where my life doesn't matter.

It's like you can get into the skin of these characters and live the life they're living. Feel what they're feeling.

I go through that portal and back at least twice a day.

Shane says it's called 'escaping reality'.

I don't know. Maybe it is. I don't know how to explain it, but..

To me it's more like 'creating my own reality, by being part of someone's fantasy'
