Chapter 1

Time passed. After Dawn speak with Rosie about the broken-up incident, 2 weeks flew away. While her friends are studying at a university, she is searching for a job because she stopped her student status. After all, she didn't like the university where she started studying. Now she is on way home after an interview with a well-known company, and now she just must hope they accept her.

When she was on the crosswalk, one of the cars horns to her, and because of that, she flinched and looked at the car. When she saw the man who sit in the car, she was surprised but after that, she smiled and started going to the car to hop in beside the man because he waved to her to come in the car.

"Hi Dawn, long time no see!" He started to speak first, who is sitting beside her.

"Me too... Robin." She replied. "How are you?" She asked. The man started to speak after he started the car because the line went green, indicating that they can go.

"I think I'm fine!" He replied while shrugging his shoulder.

"Hm... I see!"

"And you? Where were you?" He asked her.

"I am fine too!" She replied, and after she took a deep breath, she started to speak again. "I was in an interview!"

"Wow, that's cool!" He said with a small smile. "Anyways, I want to ask you if you want to come to my house to talk there, because we haven't seen each other in a while. „Robin asked while his eyes fixed on the road. "But if you like the idea too." he added.

"I think this is a good idea!" Dawn replied after she thought a little bit, this was a good idea or not, but she just shrugged her shoulder and agreed with him.

After some time, they reached his house, Robin parked the car in the garage, and then they got out of the car and went inside the house.

"You live here alone?" Dawn asked after Robin closed the door behind him.

"No, I'm living with my parents and my sister, just they are not home yet!" He replied. She just nodded. When they get off their shoes, Robin invited Dawn to the kitchen. "Do you want some drink or food?" He asked after standing in front of her.

"What kind of drink do you have?" She asked.

"Fruit juice, water, cola, and cold lemonade!"

"Cold lemonade would be perfect, thank you!" She said with a smile.

After Robin pours both of them lemonade, they sit down in the kitchen facing each other.

"Tell me something." He spoke first. Dawn chuckled a little bit.

"I don't know what to say." She spoke.

"Anything! "He said with a smile on his face. "We didn't see each other for nearly three years!"

"You have a point, but I don't know where to start!"

"What happened to you after we met at the banquet?" He asked then.

"I was accepted to a university but not where I wanted to go." Dawn started. "At first, I liked the college life and other things, but after the introduction of online education, because of the virus, it was all chaos. There was a professor who didn't hold classes, didn't send the material, and even stuff like that." She took a deep breath and started speaking again. "So, I thought to leave the university and start searching for a new one, but then I realized I didn't have enough point." She lowered her head. Robin just silently listening her and observed her features. He just realised now that Dawn changed. Her eyes don't spark anymore; under her eyes are dark circles are found, and her skin is pale. She is not okay.

"What happened to you?" He asked, interrupting her.

"Sorry?" She asked because she was immersed in what she had to say.

"What happened to you?" He asked again. Dawn just took a deep breath and asked.

"What do you mean?" She doesn't want to look into his eyes.

"You look..." He searched for the right words. "You look like something happened with you or in your life!" He spoke.

"You're right!" She said after a deep breath with a little pain in her voice.

"You can tell me if you want, there is no one I can tell." He said with sadness.

"You can talk to me too if you want!" She replied. He just hummed.

"Would you like to say first or..." she interrupted him.

"I will go first!" She spoke. He nodded to her, and then Dawn, after taking a deep breath, started to speak about the life that she had to face. "When the virus starts, my grandfather had to go to the hospital because he had some kidney problem." Her voice is shaken a little bit by the memories. "At the hospital, one of my grandpa's roommates was diagnosed with the covid-19 virus, my grandfather was also diagnosed too." She took a deep breath and then started to speak again. "He died, but not because of the virus because the doctors haven't treated his kidney problems properly, but the final report said he died because of that shit virus!" She finally burst out.

"I'm sorry for your loss!" He said in a low voice. She just sadly smiled at him.

"But this is just the start!" She said, and then after she drank a little, she spoke again. "After 1 month, my dog with whom I grew up died too; she was too old." She sights. "And then after some weeks later, my grandmother troubled us, but not in small ways. First of all, she loves drinks, I said it was okay, but she really, really loves a drink, and often gets drank and then she just broke her arm because she lifts her bed, but we don't know why. After that incident, she broke her leg because she thought it was morning, but at that time, it was the middle of the night. And she started to go outside of her house and dawn the stairs. She fell. The next day, we had to bring her to the clinic because of her leg, and after the doctors took her leg to gypsum, she couldn't get out of her bed. My mom had to take care of her; she had to diaper her, feed her, sometimes I was the one who took care of her... and she cause us so much trouble." She again sigh and then started to speak again. "Oh, and on top of that, we found out four days ago that my mom cheated on my father for more than 2 years now, so they are going to divorce! Soo yeah! You're the first one that I said this to someone." She said then turned away from him because she didn't want to see his face. "And after that day, my mom started shouting at me, she started blaming me for everything, that I don't study I don't work... so everything... she mentally hurts me at home..." She finished her talk. Dawn doesn't want to be near Robin at that point, so she grabbed her glass and went to the kitchen counter to pour herself more lemonade. Robin just looked at her and felt sorry for her, so he thought about making Dawn feel better. He got up from the chair and walked towards her from behind. As soon as he reached her, Robin hugged her and took his head towards her neck to feel her scent. Dawn flinched when Robin hugged her behind. "What are you doing?" She asked in a low voice.

"Comforting you while hugging you?" He asked more than said. Dawn just sighed then turned around and hugged him back while her face was on his chest. She felt she wanted to cry but couldn't.

"Thank you!" She said, then looked up at him and asked. "Would you like to say to me your story?" The man just nodded. He takes Dawn's hands into his and starts to drag her to his room because he thought that would be more comfortable other than the kitchen table. When they reached his room, they set on Robin's bed face to each other.

"I don't know if you know or not, so I'll start from the banquet too." Dawn just nodded her head. " You know, I don't even know why we broke up first!" He said, looking into Dawn's eyes and then back at his hands. "I know that we argued a lot, but they were just small problems, you know? If we wanted to, then we can fix these problems back then! But now I think we didn't want that too much!" He sighed a bit before continued speaking. "After that incident, we didn't speak to each other for nearly one and half months maybe, I don't know, and I don't care now! That was the time when we got to know where we were going to study. I have accepted to a military university where I wanted to go, and after we started the first semester, she was the one who texted me first that she wanted to meet me and clear the things between us." He looked at her again if she was listening to what he said or not. At that moment, when their eyes met each other, they were lost for so long that they even forgot what they were talking about before that. She has beautiful eyes, brown with some green in it. Robin thought before he came back to his sense and cleared his throat. That was the exact moment Dawn came back, too. "Sooo we meet, she was the one who talked the whole time, she apologized and not begged but pleaded to me to come back to her."

"And you accepted her." She interrupted him. Robin nodded her compliment.

"Yes, I accepted her because I loved her that time and didn't forget her when we were not together. I tried, but I failed! So yes, I accepted her, and after that, we were so happy it just felt it's not real, you know?" He sighed and continued speaking again. "And I was right..." He said lowering his head. "After she see that I am fine and I found new friends' boys and especially girls too, with whom I could laugh and have some fun, she started to change."

"What?" Dawn interrupted him again because she didn't believe what he said to her. "She started to get jealous? For what?" She asked, frustrated. "Because you get some new friends? Especially girls? Oh my god! I can't believe her!" She burst out and massaged her temple. Robin just looked at her, amazed, and then chuckled after that. He just couldn't believe that she was in front of her for so long and couldn't find the right girl in his life. He just can't believe that!

"But this was just the start!" He continued after coming back from his surprise. "Sometimes she not picking up my calls, dumped me, or just didn't want to meet... so I started to doubt her love for me. I started to ignore her too, I waited for if she is going to search me, call me or I don't know, but this never happened." He said lowering his head. „So, I call her again, and this time she picked it up, but she was not alone... my best friend was there too, I heard his voice, they were having sex... so I figured it out Cassandra didn't want to pick up my call, she want to avoid it, but I think she accidentally picked up and didn't realize that!" Dawn's breath stopped, she felt sorry for him, she didn't know what to say or how to react, because if it had happened with her, she would have been instantly break into pieces at that moment.

" I don't know what to say!" She said after some time. "I felt sorry for you... you know that?" She looked at Robin who just nodded at her because he saw in her eyes that she felt bad for him. "But I don't understand one thing..." She continued. "Why did she want you back afterwards she cheated on you with your best friend? And why Jordan did this to you?! I thought he is your friend! Why did he betray you?! Why didn't said to you that Cassie wants him and better if you break up with her?! God, I literally don't understand why they had to do this to you!" Robin just stared at her and didn't believe his ears. Dawn amazed her again.

"I didn't know that we are going to understand each other that much!" He said in a low voice that Dawn couldn't hear.

"What did you say?" She asked back. Robin just looked at her in the eyes and then sat a little bit closer to her. "What is it?" Dawn asked him, confusion filling in her voice.

They looked at each other eyes again for so long that Dawn does not realise that Robin slowly started to approach her. Robin put his hands on her neck; his eyes were already looking at her lips and then closed the gap between them to kiss her slowly, and she kissed him back...
