Hey guys sorry I haven't updated in a while. I haven't really been wanting to write lately. Again so sorry, but please enjoy this chapter

The day flew by as we all hung out and talked. We all wore ugly Christmas sweaters and had eggnog, well except for me cause I've never been a fan of it. The Powell house was filled with music and laughter pretty much the entire day. All the presents were yet to be opened, except for the younger ones. They couldn't wait any longer. The Powell girls got princess related things and Emmett got some new clothes which, by the way, I helped pick out with Jewel. Brycie also placed mistletoe every where so I had to be careful not to get stuck under one, which I succeeded in doing. It was pretty great. We sang Christmas songs and watched Christmas movies, especially one of my favorites The Nightmare Before Christmas. I just love that movie. Around 7 or 8, after Alan had put the girls to bed, is when we started opening gifts for the older people. I wasn't really paying attention as my thoughts of my family had clouded my mind. It wasn't until someone waved their hand in my face that I knew it was my turn to open my presents. There were no names on the packages besides mine. They were all amazing, but one stood out to me. One I haven't opened yet. It was a small, long black box that had a sticky note with my name on it. I slowly opened it and inside was a beautiful, silver cross necklace with a heart on it.

I gasped at the beautiful gift. My hand covered my mouth in awe. I looked up and saw Spencer looking at me and smiling really widely.

"You didn't" I said almost unbelievingly. He just nodded. You see when me and Jewel went to go get Emmett some clothes, Spencer had asked to come with us. We passed some jewelry store and decided to pop in and I had found this necklace around the back of the shop. I could've stared at it for ages, but Jewel eventually pulled me away. Of course I didn't notice that Spencer wasn't with us until we met up at the exit. I asked where he went and he said he went to go grab a donut. Of course I believed him cause...well...he's Spencer. And he loves donuts.

I was pulled out of my thoughts when Spencer asked me a question.

"Would you like me to put it on?" He asked. I nodded and gave the necklace to him. I held my long, brown hair out of the way so he could easily put it on. I shivered as I felt the cold chain around my neck. He had clasped it together and I let my hair down I stood up and wrapped my arms around his neck.

"Thank you Spencer" I whispered in his ear. He pulled back, but didn't removed his arms from around my shoulders.

"For what?" He asked with a confused expression on his face. I smiled and pulled him back for another hug.

"For the best Christmas ever"
