It's been about three years since my dad went to prison for injuring my mom and sister. It's been about three and a half years since I got together with Spencer.
We are officially getting married in a few months, but tonight we were just going out with our giant family. The Powell's, the Grimm's, the Graham's, the Stamper's, and my mom and sister. The movie God's Not Dead just came out and we wanted to see it. We slowly pulled up to the packed theater and parked. I climbed out and shut the door. Me and Spence walked up to the ticket booth and he payed for our tickets. I was the first to walk in, but when I did I noticed that our giant family were gathered around a few people. I walked up to the circle and squeezed to the front. The sight I saw in front of me will never leave my mind.

I saw my dad.

He was hugging my mom and sister. He looked...different. It was a good difference. He looked like he had just talked to the President of the United States. I ran up to him and engulfed him into a hug.

"Dad!"

"Hey Riles, how are you, my daughter?" I pulled back, surprised.

"But I thought you disowned me?" I questioned him. He looked at me with...love...in his eyes.

"That day when you forgave me when I was in prison. It...it changed me. I felt something tugging at my heart. I had a feeling that I knew what it was. So whenever a Christian teacher stopped by, I was always there to listen" he finished.

"So what does that mean, dad?" I asked him. He sighed happily.

"I got saved Riley" he finally got out and my hands flew to my mouth. I threw my hands up.

"Praise the risen Lord" everyone applauded and I hugged my dad again.

"I love you dad"

"And I love you, my daughter"

Welp that's the end. Wow I can't believe I now have another finished book. Wow I feel accomplished. I'm kinda sad tho. I'm really gonna miss this book, but I've gotta move on. Be prepared for more books to come. Bye loves!!
