Eun Jung's POV

I found myself near a beautiful lake. There were so many birds flying and chirping. The peaceful atmosphere was abnormally rare. The sky was pink instead of blue. Beautiful garden rose plants were surrounded with colourful and elegant roses. I loved the place. It was just like a dream land, but it made so many thoughts to come into mind. Was I in heaven? Did I die already? Did Jungkook rape me and killed me? Why didn't I know that I was killed? What was happening? Then I saw an angelic male figure coming towards me. My lips curved into a smile when I realised it was Taehyung. Taehyung died too? He came towards me and and held my hand while looking deep into my soul. I didn't wanted this moment to end. I wanted him to look at me like this forever. It gave me butterflies inside my stomach to see him gazing at me so passionately. Suddenly, butterflies were everywhere. Where did these come from? Was I really in heaven? Does being in heaven makes everything that I think turn into reality? I still had no idea what was going on.

Taehyung- "I wish you could atleast hear me out! This is the last time I will stay close to you!"

Me- "The last time? Why?"

Taehyung- "I am sorry for this Eun! I thought we had a great future together! But, I guess i was wrong!" He gently caressed my cheeks.

Me- "Taehyung! Why are you saying this? Why are you saying that we don't have a good future together? Is it because I died?" I started to tear up.

Taehyung- "I just want you to be happy! I hope you have a great life ahead! Just remember, you are not alone! Even if I don't meet you, I will be there to protect you! No one will ever hurt you! I promise! Just stay strong! And, most importantly, I love you Eun! I really do!" He wiped my tears and kissed my forehead.

Me- "Taehyung! What's going on? Where are we? And why are you saying this? Am I alive? How am I going to have a great life when I am already dead?" He didn't say another word.

He kept quiet and let go of my hand. I tried to stop him but that's when I realized I couldn't touch him anymore. I called his name but he didn't look back. It felt like he was transparent. I cried my heart out while begging Taehyung to come back.

I opened my eyes due to fright. Now it was nothing like what I saw. I found myself on a bed in a hospital. Was that a dream? I looked at my right and there was Taehyung facing his back at me. I held his hand tightly and cried.

Me- "Taehyung! Please don't leave me! I need you! Please Taehyung! Don't go!" He turned to me in startle.

Taehyung- "Eun? You woke up?"

Me- "Taehyung please! Don't leave me!" I cried onto his arm. I was still traumatised because of the dream I saw. Was he really going to leave me?

Taehyung- "Eun! I am right here! Don't worry!" He tried to calm me down while hugging me.

My parents entered the room.

Eomma- "Eun! You became conscious?"

Appa- "Taehyung! Your two minutes are over! You may go now!" Taehyung looked at me with guilty eyes. He clearly didn't want to leave me in this state but he let go off me.

Me- "Appa! Why can't Taehyung stay here?"

Appa- "Eomma and Appa are here for you Eun! Taehyung needs rest! He should go!"

Me- "Taehyung! Do you have to go?" I looked at him with a frown to which he hesitated to react.

Taehyung- "E-Eun! I need rest! I will go now!"

Me- "Then I will go with you too!" Everyone looked at me in disbelief.

Eomma- "Eun! Stop being stubborn! Taehyung is going home! You will rest here until you recover!"

Me- "But what happened to me? Why don't I remember how I got here?"

Eomma- "Just rest!"

Me- "No! I want my answers! How did I end up here? D-Did I get......raped?"

Appa- "NO YOU DIDN'T! DON'T YOU DARE SAY ANYTHING LIKE THAT AGAIN!" For the first time he yelled at me. I don't know why but that made me broke into tears.

Eomma- "Honey! Calm down! And Eun, you weren't raped! Taehyung saved you before that happened!" I looked at Taehyung who was looking away trying not make eye contact with me.

Appa- "I already told you to go Taehyung!" He started walking towards the door.

Me- "Why are you guys so rude to him? Even after him saving my life?"

Eomma- "Eun! We will tell you everything after you get well! Right now don't ask questions to which we cannot answer!" Why were they acting so strangely?

Appa- "Besides! It's really late at night! The visiting hours have ended! So he needs to go!"

Taehyung left without even saying goodbye or goodnight. What was wrong with him? An idea popped in my mind.

Me- "Where is my phone?"

Eomma- "Here! Taehyung gave it to us!"

Me- "I honestly don't know why you guys are so rude to him after all that he did for me!" I rolled my eyes while taking the phone.

My parents were sitting on the sofa and that's when I thought of texting Taehyung.

Taehyung. Thanks for saving me 🙂 -Me

I waited for his reply but he didn't respond. He saw the message but didn't reply. He clearly seen zoned me.

Why are you seen zoning me? 🙁 -Me

He next thing I saw was him blocking me. I couldn't text him anymore. I called him and it was clear that he blocked me. How could he? What's wrong with him?

I told my parents to go home since it was too late. After a battle of debate, I won and they both went home.

The next day, my parents came with breakfast. It looked delicious and sure tasted great too after eating. I was expecting Taehyung to come visit me but he didn't. I asked my parents about him but they were just acting clueless, making me even more confused.

A whole week passed by and I was discharged from the hospital. The deap wounds on my body weren't fully healed but I was able to walk and exercise. The first thing I wanted was to meet Taehyung and ask him about his sudden behaviour change. I was too afraid that my dream would become a reality. Those things he said in my dream were really bothering me. I went to Taehyung's house to meet him. His Eomma opened the door before welcoming me.

Mrs.Kim- "Oh Eun! It's been such a while! Are you alright now?"

Me- "Yes Mrs.Kim! Thank you for asking! By the way, is Taehyung home?"

Mrs.Kim- "No! He is in his office right now! Did you need something?"

Me- "No! I just wanted to meet him! That's all!"

Mrs.Kim- "Oh! I am sorry that he is not home right now!"

Me- "It's okay Mrs.Kim! I'll get going now! I will come visit you guys another day! I need to go somewhere now!"

Mrs.Kim- "No worries! Be safe okay?"

Me- "I sure will!" I gave her a loving hug before turning back to my car.

I drove off to Taehyung's office as I needed to talk to him at any cost. As I entered his office, I saw his assistant so i asked him about Taehyung.

Me- "Hey! Umm, is Mr.Kim Taehyung here?"

Assistant- "Yes! You must be Ms.Eun Jung, right?"

Me- "Yup! That's me! But how did you know?"

Assistant- "Our boss talks alot about you!"

Me- "Really?" I shyly giggled.

Assistant- "Yes! So you are here to meet him?"

Me- "Yeah! It's been a week since I couldn't contact him so I thought of coming to his office! I hope he is not busy right now!"

Assistant- "Right now he doesn't have any appointments or meetings, so he is probably free! Let me lead you the way!"

Me- "Thank you!"

I followed behind him while he went into Taehyung's cabin. Afterwards when he gave me the signal to come in, I went inside and saw Taehyung with a cold expression. He didn't look up. He kept looking at a file on his hands.

Assistant- "I'll leave you two here!"

Now I was alone with Taehyung. He still didn't give me any attention. What was going on in his mind?

Kim Taehyung's POV

I tried my best to ignore her but it was just too hard for me. I was breaking from inside everytime I had to ignore her.

She called me since I wasn't saying a word.

Eun- "Taehyung?" I didn't look up.

Eun- "Taehyung! Did I do something wrong? Are you angry that you had to go through so much trouble because I got kidnapped?" I gripped my file really tight because it became harder for me to not talk as she started accusing herself. With alot of effort, I kept looking at my file. Strangely, she didn't say another word. It felt weird so I looked up in suspicion.
