Eun Jung's POV

I reached the hospital and met Seon. Wait. Was she crying?

Me- "Seon? What's wrong? Did something happen while I was gone?" My eyes were filled with worry as I saw her puffy red eyes.

Seon- "Eun! That little boy!"

Me- "What's with that kid? Did anything happen to him?"

Seon- "No! He is fine! But.....!"

Me- "Come on! Tell me! Do you perhaps........know that kid?"

Seon- "He is my nephew!" My eyes enlarged. I couldn't believe what she actually said.

Me- "Y-Your, n-nephew?" I couldn't help myself from shuttering as the shock wasn't making me digest what she said.

Seon- "Yes!" She looked down as her tears started rolling down again like a waterfall.

Me- "How is that your nephew? I found him on the road!"

Seon- "Eun! That is my sister's son, Deol! Last night, my nephew got lost when he went to the mall with his Eomma for shopping! She couldn't find him since it was dark outside and she had to wait until it was day time! I didn't know about it! Even I found out last night after coming home from the party!"

Me- "Oh god! She lost her child last night?"

Seon- "Yes Eun! I wanted to call to the police but those idiots wouldn't file our case until 24 hours pass! I was going to search for him again once the sun rises but then I had to come here! But hey! I was lucky! The kid you brought here turned out to be my nephew!" She hugged me the moment she finished her sentence.

Me- "Thank god we found him! But, unfortunately he looks like, he was attacked!"

Seon- "Hmm! The nurses took him to the ward since the operation is done! They said it's going to be ok but the wounds are going to take time to heal! I have called my sister and she must be here any minute!"

Me- "Alright then! Let me see him first, then I will leave!"

Seon- "Follow me!" She directed me to the room.

I didn't get inside the room and just looked at him through the glass of the door.

After a couple of minutes, I said goodbye to Seon and drove off to my house. I saw my parents eating their breakfast since it was just 8 in the morning. I greeted them and joined them in the breakfast as my tummy was rumbling after all the trouble I had today.

Appa- "How was the shooting?"

Me- "I survived!" They both giggled to my answer while I was there with a deadpan expression.

Eomma- "Eun! Taehyung is a good guy! Why don't you think of getting married to him?" Why did she have to be so straightforward? All I could do was stay silent in the awkward situation.

Appa- "I don't know! Even if he is a great guy, Eun has the right to choose someone whom she likes!"

Eomma- "Well they have dated before! Isn't that enough to prove that they like each other!"

Me- "Eomma! Yes! We did date! But now things are over! We aren't dating anymore! I am now on a different path and so is he!"

Eomma- "Since you just said it, care to explain why you guys broke up?" Wow. I thought my mom was different, but no. She is just like the typical mothers who love getting into their kid's intense private problems.

Me- "I don't know why! It was a long time ago! I don't remember much now! Anyways, am tired!" I hurriedly went upstairs, leaving behind my unfinished breakfast.

I was so done with Taehyung. I was now too tired to deal with him and his harsh behaviour towards me. I needed someone who could help me forget all the sorrow he gave me. At this point, I felt so lonely and just cried silently in between the four walls.

Kim Taehyung's POV

I saw Eun in a hurry. Where was she going? Well why do I care?

No Taehyung, go check if she is going to go to another boy. This brat is surely going to meet a boy.

I went inside the car and followed her. She has been driving for too long and that made me think of backing off and go back home, until her car stopped infront of a hospital. Wait, a hospital? What does she want from there?

I sneakily went inside the hospital once she entered. She looked like she was in such a hurry. Even I couldn't keep up with her tracks at some pace. After alot of efforts, I found her. Wait, who is that with her?

I went closer but tried my best to keep myself hidden from them and I looked carefully at the female figure beside Eun. To be exact, a crying female figure. Then I realized it was Seon. What were these two doing here? They both looked like they were in a serious conversation. I wanted to hear it but I couldn't. They were sort of whispering which gave me the idea that it was something personal. They started walking and taking the opportunity, I followed them. There Eun looked into the room through the glass of the door and soon went out of the hospital. Once I was sure she was not in the sight, I went to Seon. She looked quite shocked to see me, which I was kinda expecting.

Seon- "What are you doing here?"

Me- "I had a head ache so I came here for a check up!"

Seon- "Oh really? You came to the wards section instead of the consultation section because of your headache?" Dang, she is smart.

Me- "Um, Y-Yh! W-What's the problem with that?"

Seon- "You seem so suspicious! Oh lord! Did you perhaps follow Eun?"

Me- "N-No!"

Seon- "Oh! Then why are you shuttering?" She raised an eyebrow in suspicion. At this point, I knew I was caught up red handed.

Me- "Fine! I followed her! But that doesn't mean anything!"

Seon- "What do you mean that doesn't mean anything? You always follow random girls for no reason?"

Me- "Ugh! You are so annoying! I just followed her to see if she is going to meet a boy or not!" Her eyes grew wide in disbelief.

Seon- "Who do you even think she is? A charcaterless woman!"

Me- "Maybe!" I murmured quietly.

Seon- "Look Kim Taehyung! I don't care whatever you think, but get this thing straight into your head! She is precious like a gem! You have hurted her enough so don't make it any worse!"

Me- "Me? I am the one who hurted her? I don't know what she said to you but what I do know is that I am so not at fault!"

Seon- "Wow! Good thing that you are rich! Or else you won't even survive too long with such stupidity!"

Me- "Now I see why you are so close to her! Both of you are the same! Listen Seon! Jin is more than a brother to me and don't you dare cheat on him like Eun did! If you do, I won't be very keen to you! You get that?"

Seon- "Who the hell are you to judge my character? Let me assure you one thing Mr.Kim! I love Jin wholeheartedly! I would never do that! And as far as Eun, you are too unlucky that you left such a priceless gem like her!"

Me- "Priceless gem you say? She might be a priceless gem but that's only because she is always busy caring about herself!"

Seon- "Are you seriously nuts? Or maybe you are just blind! Didn't you see her coming to hospital? And yet you are still accusing her!"

Me- "What's so special about that? She just came here to visit a patient and within minutes, she turned her back at you and left!" She placed her hand on her forehead while shutting her eyes. She looked like she was fed up.

Seon- "That 'patient' she came to visit wouldn't even be alive now if she didn't save him?" I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.

Me- "What do you mean?"

Seon- "That patient is my nephew who got lost last night! Thanks to Eun, she found him on the roadside and brought him to the hospital! Or else god knows how worse it could've been!"

Me- "She saved him?"

Seon- "Yes! She told me that she had to go somewhere urgently but to stay with the kid who she didn't even know, she got late!" Wait, so she doesn't know anything about me relating to Eun going somewhere at that hour? At this point, guilt was flooded inside my heart. I said all those harsh and mean words to her but she didn't say anything hurtful back. She just kept patiently enduring everything.

Me- "Whatever! I am going home! I am very tired!" I left the hospital and went home with my frustrated mind.

I stepped inside the house only to see my parents discussing something in the living room. I went to them and greeted them.

Me- "What's going on?"

Eomma- "Hey son! We were just talking about you!"

Me- "About me?"

Abeoji- "Yes! We were thinking of getting you married! Do you like this girl or this one?" He questioned, handing me a couple of pictures of girls who I never even saw before.

Me- "Getting married?"
