Appeaeance: Gold is very light skinned and has really toned abs and arms (muscular). He stands at 5'10 ft tall and has soft brown eyes with constant curiousity. He used to have a long black pony tail, but his mom made him cut it into a "cute" short floppy hairstyle. He has many criss crossing lines of scars on his chest from his mom's punishments that he's never shown anyone. Most people look at him and think heartthrob because of his toned body and cute lopsided smile.

Personality: Gold is curious about everything and loves to learn. He is energetic and relishes victory, but he is not a killer. His whole life his mom has told him that he has to be the absolute best and win at any cost, the Hunger Games are an honor and failure will not be tolerated, but even with the crap that his district and mother shoved down his throat he never became a heartless career and that is thanks to his father. His father is a past hunger games winner and has always told Gold the truth when it comes to the games. They're evil and wrong and if you go in you won't come out the same. He showed Gold the beauty of the earth instead of indulging him in the Capitol's false idea of beauty. Because of constant exploring with his father when he was younger Gold was naturally curious. His father taught him to be kind to others but to also not be foolishly trusting or treated as a doormat. He taught him to be strong as well as intelligent and never cruel. He's likes to stay optimistic, but he isn't stupid or delisional. His dad tried to teach him to not let his emotions cloud his judgement,  but Gold's anger is an uncontrollable force to be reckoned with. He's also extremely good with people.

Backround: He grew up with the luxuries  of any district one child the only difference being actual love and care from his father and his mother's harsh punishment for even the slightest mistake. She would keep her nails as sharp as a knife and when Gold messed up she would slice his chest only behind closed doors ofcourse. To all of district one they were like the "first family" and Gold was the their "Golden boy" When training as a career everyone thought he was incredible and everyone wanted to hang with the  With the kid who never lost a battle, but While he had plenty of "friends" he could never relate or connect to any of them. They all seemed so brainwashed and bloodthirsty, all except Coal.  There was nothing exceptionally special about him. His skills especially, they were at most sub par. His distinguishing traits were his short fiery red hair and quiet yet defiant demeanor. He was different than others. His mom had died in childbirth with his younger sister and He had no idea who his father was. Him and his younger sister, Valour, were left under their eccentricly happy grandmother's care. After Valour died in the games last year Coal refused to train, stopped talking to everyone and grew a flaming hatred towards the games. He was obviously an angry person on the outside, but Gold could tell he was just sad and he wanted to help Coal no matter how much Coal pushed him away. They eventually became best friends and though Gold is 15 and Coal is 17, Gold is definetly the "Big Brother".
 
Reaped or volunteered: Volunteered

Reaction: The creepy looking capitol women had called Coal's name and he just started to walk to the front with absolutely no emotion. Nobody was volunteering. No one wanted to volunteer for the silent "asshole" who sucked at combat not even the over confident deuchebag careers. Gold didn't even think he just volunteered. The whole crowd went wild when they saw district one's "Golden boy" start walking to the stage. They were proud and probably sure he'd demolish the other districts. Ofcourse they all dont know Gold, but he put on his best confident smirk and gave district one a show 

Strengths: His exstensive abilities with combat and weapons, his knowedge in wilderness survival and he's ability to read people. He knows what people want and can adjust accordingly. He knows what they respond to, their weaknesses though he's not really one for using that against people but can if necessary.

Weaknesses: His care and compassion for people. He will not hurt those he cares about, though ofcourse he doesn't see this as a weakness. He won't kill unless absolutely necessary. He makes rash decisions. Doesnt always think things through and this can cause problems for him. His emotions. Few things make Gold mad, but if something does he won't just get mad, he'll get livid he can't control his emotions they control him.

Token: A solid gold crown ring. His mother gave it to him because she wanted him to know that her son was a king and should always act as well as be treated as such. But his father told him being a king wasn't being perfect or getting everything you wanted. It was being courageous, intelligent, loving and strong
