Faye Avalon

Age: 14
Gender: Female
District: 5

Weapon of choice: Spear, for its obvious multi use

Physical Description: Avalon has beautiful, golden skin, a tan anyone would kill for. She loves her medium length black ringlets of hair, though they are actually naturally straight, but she curls them every night, so only she and her mother know that. With her heart shaped face and striking emerald eyes, she resembles that of an island princess. She's got long runners legs filled with faded and new scars from the various sports she enjoys playing. Her finger and toe nails are always kept up because she can't stand uneven, broken off, dirty nails, just a slight pet peeve she's always had. A long, ghastly white scar runs from her right cheek up to her hairline from a tragic accident she endured two years ago. Lastly her kind smile and high cheekbones contrast the recently developed deviously intelligent glint in her eye. She's a picture perfect angel as long as you don't look into her eyes. She is usually found wearing comfortable skinny jeans, tops in cute bright colors, simple makeup and jewelry and flats, all to play into the “sweet angel” facade
Personality: Avalon is known to most as the bouncy, loud, fun, caring and ditzy girl with a constant smile, and that's exactly who she used to be before the accident. It changed her somehow. She was no longer a ditz, but more somewhat of a genius. She knew as to not cause worry or scandal amongst her family she'd have to act like nothing changed. She kept up appearances, but there were definite subtle signs. She was obviously more independent and didn't really spend much more time with the other children then necessary. Having her new “Genius” status, they all seemed pretty dull. Her grades improved just a bit at a time, so as not to raise suspicion, for she used to be near the bottom of the class, only ever just passing. She still loves sports, the outdoors and reading, but had a more mature viewpoint on it now, like everything else. She ate good and healthy because she now realized keeping up appearance is everything. Her new intelligence also brought along the realization of the whole government construct. She became angry and manipulative, well aware that this sick society was survival of the fittest. She became observant of everyone and everything. Cross her and she'd take you out quickly and quietly, but she never got her hands dirty. Even though her naivety was gone she still cared for nothing more than her family, especially her twin brother Harlequin, and she would never jeopardize their prestige in district 5. Luckily no one crossed her or her family much because underneath all the smarts and anger, she was still that happy go lucky little girl who just wanted everything to be alright.
Brief History: Faye grew up in one of the richest and most brilliant families of district 5, wanting for nothing. She always felt loved even with 4 sisters, 2 brothers and a twin. Her mother and father were incredibly caring and no matter what refused to let their work get in the way of their family. The Avalons are known for their genius throughout Panem. Faye was always the black sheep, being far more interested in people and sports than her studies, until the accident. She was walking home from the lake in outer fields of district 5, where they still kept telephone poles, when it started to pour. Of course, being her, she was ecstatic. Faye loved running and jumping from puddle to puddle, so that's just what she did till she slipped. She fell face first into a puddle that resembled a mini lake and twisted her ankle. Faye was a great swimmer, but she never could have been prepared for what happen next. One of the power lines of the telephone poles snapped. Quickly she leaps for land but the cord comes across her head knocking her back into the water. Faye struggled to breath, the telephone poles cords all snapping and falling into the water, being the last thing she saw before she felt the most intense pain of her life and blacked out. Faye awoke in the hospital in dull pain, feeling somehow different, that had nothing to do with pain. Before she could put her finger on it her mother burst in smiling and crying, squeezing Faye and asking if she was alright. All Faye could think to do was plaster on a smile and lie through her teeth,
“Yes.”

Strengths: Besides her obvious fit physical condition and status of genius, she's adaptive. While she recognizes plans are very effective, she'd rather “go with flow” when she can because plans change. She's also manipulative. Manipulation is an art that calls for you to understand people and what drives them, and Faye has always been good with people. Her personality is fluid depending on who she's speaking to or what her situation is.

Weaknesses: Has a weak spot for the dumb innocence she once had. Hates talking about the Capitol because she knows anything she has to say will not be taken lightly. Can go into a blinding rage when gotten the best of by someone else or feels lost when she, herself, sees she's wrong. Her family, it's the most important thing in the world to her.

What type of tribute they'd ally with: Would ally with a strong tribute, because she's sorely lacking in that area, but they would have to trust her. She won't ally with anyone that won't trust her.
