BACKSTORY ; Saoirse O'Malley is an orphan, has been since she was two when her parents were in a car accident. She was sent to a foster family until she was seven, when they no longer wanted to foster the girl due to her unusual friends always being around. Snakes. She always felt comfortable around them, but it drove the people around her crazy since there aren't typically snakes in NYC, yet... some would always find her. After that she was sent to one of the orphanages, where she was a bit of a menace to those around her. While always having good intentions, she seemed to always get herself into trouble. She tried to make up for it in school, but always seemed to have trouble there as well, both academically and socially. She managed to get into many fights and was always seen as a troubled kid, partly due to her low grades. Eventually she was put on the streets and was fending for herself since she couldn't find a shelter that would take her at seventeen. When she was thirteen she found out about her abilities, she always understood snakes, but at thirteen when she was in a distressing situation at the orphanage, she found out about her transformation skills which turned her into a green snake. She tries to keep her secret, but it's hard.
