BACKSTORY ; Portia grew up in an orphanage in New York until she was ten, where she was picked up off the street by agents of AIM. She was given to Hydra as apart of an experiment with the mind stone. During that time she gained the ability to run faster than a plane could fly, and could heal quickly. Hydra trained her in MMA and street fighting so she could go undercover and take down enemies of the organization. After three years of working for the organization, a man who had taken care of a few other people who had defected from Hydra, eventually took her in and kept her away from the organization. He took her to a building where she met five others he had taken in, and he gave her a home in his team The Rouges, a team for hire. She became their official speedster with more optimism than the whole team had. She took up the name Ace and prefers that over her real name now. She loves her new family in the Rogues, and will defend them when she is able to, them meaning the world to her.
