I was walking home from 9 lives a small cat café about 1.5 miles away from my house it would take 30ish minutes. I Inherited my house from my grandfather. It was a very big house (considering I live alone)

 with 10 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, a dining room that could fit 15 comfortably,

 a kitchen that would make a 5 star chef jellies,

 a library, 

an arcade

 and a large garden that has gone unused since I moved in. (pretend its dead)

also a basement that I turned into a gym.

 I was at my gate and there was a box I didn't remember ordering anything but I brought it inside before it started to rain.

 When I got to my living room placing the box on the floor then I heard a small meow from the box. I was surprised I carefully opened the box. What was inside broke my heart. There was 7 cats. I looked at each cat some looked younger than the others but they were all different even if it was only a little bit I looked at the smallest one. I carefully picked it up and held it to my chest it was almost a blackish blue kitten it had deep blue eyes. It started to shake like it was scared.

"It's ok little one I won't hurt you I just want to look at you all to make sure you are ok." I told the kitten it seemed to understand and calm down

I noticed when I picked it up one of the cats started to look at me and jumped out of the box this one was a sleek black cat with red eyes. I carefully placed the kitten next to the cat that jumped out. I then picked up the cat that had jumped out it seemed ok but as soon as I placed it back on the floor it walked to the kitten and sat next to it. Next I turned to the other kitten when I went to pick it up another black cat scratched me.

"Ouch" I said as I yanked my hand out of the box I held my hand as the lines on my hand starts to bleed the kitten I was trying to pick up looked at me along with the two cats outside to box looked at my hand. The kitten yowled at the black cat and tried to jump out of the box. I gave a small giggle and picked it up to my chest. It looked at me and curled into my chest. I gave a good look at the kitten it was a little bigger than the other kitten. I had never seen a blond cat before let alone a platinum blond cat. It had nice icy blue eyes. As I tried to place it down it stuck its claws in my shirt fortunately I work at a shop with lots of cats so I just detached its claws from My shirt and placed him down. I next moved to the one that scratched me I didn't hold it like the others I just placed it on the ground this one was another sleek black cat but it had golden eyes. It went straight to the blond kitten. I looked in the box the next cat that caught my eye was a red cat I grabbed a scarf that was on the couch and raped it around my still bleeding hand although it had almost stopped I didn't want to get blood on the cats. I reached for the red cat and it puffed up but did not attack me like the other one did. I again held the cat to my chest.

"Well aren't you a pretty one, is that your natural fir or did some nasty person dye your fir? And look at your pretty green eyes they look like they are glowing" You asked yourself you noticed when you said the cat was pretty it started to snuggle into your chest and purr. You placed the cat down and it walked over to the first black cat who intern looks irritated. You again turned your attention to the box there where 2 cats left a gray cat in the middle of the box and a white cat in corner of the box that didn't seem to trust me all the way yet. So I picked up the gray cat and looked at it. I looked at it, it seemed to be the only long haired cat of the bunch with long gray hair with a single braid on the right side. I could not see the eyes because of its bangs but I could see a scar that ran up the cats face. It also seemed to have a Cheshire cat smile. I smiled back at it and placed it on the floor it just kind of flopped onto its side which made me break out in laughter. When I calmed down I tend to the last cat I placed my hand in the box hand out pome up. It slowly walked to me once it had smelled my hand I picked it up. It was a pure white cat with amethyst eyes.

"And I thought the red cat was strange I've never heard of a cat with purple eyes."

I place the cat down on the ground and stand up to stretch as I walked to the kitchen i grabbed my phone to call in a favor that was owed to me. I finally reached the kitchen and went to the cabinet with all my caned food I grabbed out 7 cans of tuna (thank god for my love of tuna mac and cheese and tuna salad). I got out 7 small sawsers that are meant for tea cups and emptied the cans to each plate and placed them on the floor for the cats, who immediately started to eat. You picked your phone up from the counter and started to text your friend Josh he was a childhood friend that lived next to you he eventually got a job at a vet and specializes in cats. He owed you a few favors because when you were in high school people found his twitch and started to make fun of him using his twitch name TheSicFreakOnTwitch. You got them to stop. He still let you call him Sic because of how close you to become growing up.

Y 'hay can you swing by my place tomorrow morning?'

S 'ya whats up'

Y 'I found some cats and I wanted to have them checked out'

S 'oh ya how many are there i'll bring some blue and pink collar for them?'

Y '...'

Y '7, 5 cats 2 kittens'

S '... you went from no pets EVER to 7 cats...

S ' are you sure you want to do this?'

Y ' i have to they were left on my door... in a box im not going to throw them out.

Y ' its winter'

S ' im not saying throw them out im saying adoption'

Y ' no you know how i feel about that. Can you come or no'

S 'ya ill come i be there at 8"

Y 'ty ill see ya tomorrow'

As I looked up from my phone I see that the cats all have finished eating and was looking at me. I smile at them.

"Well it's late and tomorrow a friend will be over to check your health better than I can."

I walk to my room take my pejays and change I go to lay down and hear scratching at my door. I open it and all 7 cats come running into the room. I smile at them and laydown. The cats snuggle up against me and fall asleep I slowly drift to sleep hearing them purr.

AN: this will probably be one of the longer chapters with the pics it wont be like this again until later in the story when I show the other bedrooms. be sheer to vote and tell me what you think.
