Equestria was lighten with brightness of the sun. Such beauty set the world to be very beautiful. The citizens of every home were awaken bright and early for such an amazing occasion. The citizens of Ponyville were already on their parts and played their role of what they are meant to be. Mostly, the princess of friendship, known as Twilight Sparkle, was making a lot of noise for her small little dragon friend, Spike. He woke up to find her running around in the main room where the map was and rubbed his eyes seeing her. "Twilight?" He sighed barley opening his little eyes. "What are you doing so early?"
"I am getting ready!" She giggled as she blast through the room with a lot of objects being carried by her horn's magic. "Yesterday, I invited my friends and the princesses for a special dinner party for a special day!"
"Sounds great." He said waking up a little more. He only had a confuse look in his eyes. "But how is today special?"
Twilight stopped her running hoofs and gasped when she repeated what the dragon said just now. She looked back at him with such wide eyes and a surprise fallen jaw. "How could you have forgotten?!"
Spike wasn't really sure how to respond to his friend. He was a little nervous to know why now. "Um.... I don't know how to really respond to this Twilight." He whimpered.
Twilight groaned. She couldn't believe her longest friend could have forgotten this amazing day. Especially since it's past a year. "Spike, today is Princess Flurry Heart's birthday!"
Spike now felt silly. How could he have forgotten this? "Oh. Oh yeah. I forgot."
Twilight only shook her head looking at him and said, "I figure since Flurry Heart is now one years old, I thought we can make a special party for her. Almost like the crystalling, but mostly a kid's birthday party."
"I think I have her present somewhere in my room." Spike tried to make his memory come back, hoping that calm down his princess pony friend.
Twilight's smile return and turned her head towards the young dragon. "Go get it!"
Spike jumped up and ran back into the giant hall in of the castle to look for his present. Twilight went back to running and fixing the entire room. She then used her horn's magic to lift her own present and smile at it. "Nothing can ruin today and I hope Flurry Heart will love this."
She giggled and went back to being insane for a day. Being an aunt was more fun then she ever thought of.

In the town known as Gravity Falls, the townsfolk were enjoying their day of taking responsibility of their shops, fast foods, and homes. It was warm and sunny with smiles upon their cheeks.
It was also a lucky day for the famous mr. Mystery, Stanley Pines. A tour bus was coming to the Mystery Shack with lots and lots of customers. He could see the wallets filled with money already as he stepped onto the front porch to the entrance with a grinned widen his shaved beard. "Step right up folks!" He said with a cheery tone. "You are about to unwitness some insanely amazing super naturals! Today is a very special day for us all!"
He lead his tourists into the Mystery Shack showing them another show of fake mystery. Meanwhile, the workers of the Mystery Shack were also busy as well. There were a lot of customers mostly in the gift shop wanting to buy a small little gift. Wendy Corduroy was able to please the customers with her silly but sweet personality. But of all while, Soos was only sweeping the creaking, wooden floors, and the Pine twins, Mabel and Dipper, were placing things in place when someone grabs it off the shelf and buys it. They were a bit exhausted on some parts, for they never really get paid.
Dipper noticed how his other Great uncle, other than the one who was just introduced to him and his twin sister and has a lot in common with him, was so excited for today. He was more up and ready for work than ever before. There was one question that crossed him: why?
"Hey guys." He said to his sister and the two adult friends he has. "Do you guys think Grunkle Stan is a little more up than ever before?"
"Yeah. Today he's more smiley." Mabel mention with her smile revealing her braces. She then brighten with a thought. "I gotta give him a sticker for happiest smile."
"Hmm, what's today again?" Soos asked the twins.
"It's the first of August." Dipper answered. (I know it's not the exact date of Flurry Heart's birthday, but screw it! XD)
Soos and Wendy gasped as they heard the date of today. "Oh dude! How did I not know?" Soos asked himself.
The twins only looked at their two adult friends very puzzled and lost. "What's so special about today?" Mabel asked.
"According to today's date, this was the day when he first open the Mystery Shack." Wendy said as she grabbed her magazine back.
The twins looked very surprised and looked at each other. They never did get the date when one of their great uncles made this place. They never even remember what was the day when their unknown great uncle was suck into a dangerous portal he made.
"Oh wow. You serious?" Dipper asked.
"Yeah dudes!" Soos said. "This is like his happy day! This is the day he actually pays me."
"Same!" Wendy smiled widely. "And he usually doesn't."
Mabel and Dipper looked at each other with giant grins as an idea popped up in their heads. Maybe their great uncle can give them some money for all their hard work. They cheered in victory and gave each other a high five to one another.
"If only this day could end fast!" Mabel squealed with the idea of her favorite uncle give her something worth having.
Suddenly, a burst through the wood door came by and rang the bell that was place on the door for the sign of customer to walk in. Only this time, it want a customer. This person was the one who was having his own happy day.
"Everyone gather round!" Stanley yelled for his workers to gather in a circle.
The workers walked towards him noticing the giant jar of money be held in his arms. They were inside excited for how they were seeing how much is in the jar. "You're already done with the tourists?" Dipper asked surprised.
"Yep. Those customers can get through a tour quickly once they are amazed." Stan said. "For now, I have a special surprise for everyone, for today is special for a very good reason. Everyone today gets some cash!"
The young adults and little twins cheered and jumped up and down excited for today was already turning out great. The boss man handed everyone each their own ball of cash. They did their best to keep their money safe in their hands so they could count them. They were so happy with how much they got. Soos had twenty dollars, Wendy had the same. As for the twins, they each had fifteen dollars. Their uncle apologize for such little cash because they were younger, but they didn't mind one bit.
They each thanked the old man and the twins ran up towards him with a big hug. He then mention he had business to attend in the bathroom with a newspaper in his hands.
By then, Dipper noticed his crush, Wendy, was heading out the door with that grin on her face and put her cash in her jeans pocket. "Hey, where are you going?" He asked.
She turned back to the small boy and said, "Oh, well since I finally got my dough, I'm hanging with the guys today."
Wendy pointed at the window of the wooden door as her friends arrived in Thompson's van in a very fast pace of speed. They poked their heads out their windows, waving and hooting like a pile of monkeys for Wendy. She grinned and ran outside and went into the van. The twins and Soos watched her and her friends leave in that same fast pace as they came in. Now she was out. After all, Stanley did say today was an early release for the Mystery Shack.
Suddenly, two girls Dipper recognize made their way inside. It was his sister's two best friends, Candy and Grenda. They had treats with actually chocolate bars and popcorn buckets, including sofa. This was unexpected.
"Hey guys!" Grenda greeted in her strong voice.
Candy was a few seconds away from her large friend giving a small wave.
Mabel jumped from the counter of the gift shop to be face to face with her best friends. "Hey girls! Ready to go to the movies?"
"The movies?" Dipper looked at his sister puzzled, not remembering anything of his sister going somewhere.
Mabel looked back to her brother and said, "Oh yeah. Once Grunkle Stan gave me the money, I immediately gave Candy and Grenda my emergency call, and now we're going to watch the new vampire movie that just came out. See ya!" Then without letting her brother say another word to her, she was gone with her two friends.
Dipper couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed. He missed spending time with his sister. They did talk about it, but it still has its marks.
Soos noticed the pain in the young boy, and walked towards him placing both of his hands on both of Dipper's shoulders. "Don't worry dude. Why don't you spend your money on something? Maybe you can go out to eat, or play in the arcade. They do have that new video game after the damage Rumble McSkirmish created."
Dipper gave a small smile to the handy man of the Mystery Shack and said, "Maybe I will Soos. You sure you don't mind hanging back here?"
"No problem. Working with the Pines family is my life, my duty." He looked up to the ceiling, then had a little giggle. "I said duty."
No matter how strange at times Soos gets, he did know how to make a person feel better.
With that, Dipper walked out of the Mystery Shack with his vest full; money, and the mysterious book he's had since he first day.
Now there was one thing he had to do. What to find to spend his money on.

Meanwhile...

The castle shined from the lens flare, and the princess of friendship was still preparing for her niece's first birthday party. She was busy non-stop, but luckily had the help from her best friends, in case something happened. Spike was helping to after he found his present for Flurry Heart.
The three Alicorn princesses haven't arrived with the little baby, which was good timing for them. Twilight was on a roll for this.
Everyone had their own job to work and help out for a royal birthday party. Applejack was helping Pinkie Pie bake the cake and decorate it. They added with such cute little fairies and hearts, and the icing was butter cream, which was very delicious. Rarity was decorating the dining room's table to look very proper and fancy; though she forgot this was a birthday party for a baby Alicorn. Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash were in charge of putting decorations on the walls and ceiling. They were filled with balloons of many colors, and lots of glitter. Spike began setting another table that was on the side for the baby's birthday presents, so that way they won't be a bother to the ponies. Everypony already put their present on the table, but Spike was guarding them.
Everypony was working hard, but Twilight Sparkle was the one who was putting too much pressure on her of this party. She ran, back and forth, using her magic to add more confetti everywhere, and hung a paper that was so large to fit the room. It had the letter 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY FLURRY HEART' painted on it.
Also, three lucky fillies, Applebloom, Scootaloo, and Sweetie Belle, were standing in the corner watching the girls work. They haven't been offer any jobs yet, which wasn't a problem. Besides, they were mostly excited to see the new Alicorn baby they haven't met.
"This is so exciting!" Sweetie Belle smiled with glee, lifting her white hoofs in the air. "I can't wait to see the new baby!"
"Me either!" Scootaloo said, her grin growing wider with the thought of the baby. "I've been dying to see what the baby looks like."
"Me too! I hear from Applejack that she's just as cute as Pound Cake and Pumpkin Cake. And her wings are huge."
"This is gonna be the best day ever!" The trio of fillies giggled together. They have never seen the baby and couldn't wait. They even admire when Pound Cake and Pumpkin Cake were born. This new baby will blow them away.
Suddenly, a random flash appear behind Fluttershy, which have Rarity a gasp. The Cutie Mark Crusaders gasp and ran to hide in certain spots. Rainbow Dash only looked back to see what was the commotion. When they saw who it was, it became a giant relief for everypony.
"I don't suppose I'm not late for the little toddler's birthday dear Fluttershy?" Discord asked as he leaned next to the yellow Pegasus.
Fluttershy smiled, delighted to see her chaotic pal who change. "Discord! I thought you weren't gonna make it."
"Well I just couldn't miss this opportunity to see the new baby who's only been around for a year." Discord said wrapping his lion paw around Fluttershy.
"More confetti! Pinkie's got confetti!" Twilight's loud voice got his attention.
The friends all watched the young Alicorn run back and forth with sweat running down her face. This was unbelievably weird for them, even for Discord. Luckily he was the first to ask. "So what's up with the princess of friendship?"
"Twilight is just too pump to make this a perfect birthday party for Flurry Heart." Rainbow Dash said as she flew to them landing next to Scootaloo. "She's over working again."
"Twilight darling." Rarity said finally taking her break as she watch the purple Alicorn run. "Please settle down. You are overworking your boundaries and have to relax."
Surprisingly, Twilight finally made her hoofs stop, and looked back at Rarity and her friends behind her. She sigh, finally taking her breath. "You're right." She finally spoke. "I do need to calm down. I just want this to be just as perfect as the present I'm gonna give her."
"Me too!" Discord chimed as he snap his fingers and made a present appear in thing air. He used his magic to place the present with the others with Spike watching. "I decided to give the new baby a new blanket. It has my face on it!"
The ponies looked at Discord, not exactly sure if that's a real appropriate present for a one year old. But he did change, and it wasn't much of a big deal. He still makes mistakes like them.
With changing Discord's present thought, Fluttershy looked back at Twilight and asked, "So, what did you get Flurry Heart, Twilight?"
Twilight's eyes widen, and then she searched through the windows of the dining room, and flew out of the room. The ponies weren't too sure what she was doing, but then she came back with the box lift in the air with her own magic. She began to give it a careful opening by slowly opening the box, and revealed a very dazzling ruby heart. The diamond shimmer in the light making colors of the rainbow appear. There were also ruby wings of an Alicorn on it, and it looked amazing.
The ponies chimed with the sight and watched as Twilight lowered the ruby heart close to her. "It's one of the most valuable possessions I've kept since I was a foal. My mother gave it to me, and said it was the legendary Alicorn ruby. This was suppose to be a so call princess Celestia's precious gem of dragon skin, but I knew for a fact it wasn't."
"Well how can you be sure?" Applebloom asked walking to the young Alicorn.
Twilight continued. "This gem is suppose to bring power to an all powerful creature, bringing more light and happiness to a world who in needs it the most. But it never did anything. So I decided to give it to Flurry Heart."
Rarity walked next to Applebloom staring into the ruby seeing her reflection. She was the most amazed. "Twilight!" She said. "This is simply beautiful! I'm surprise you would give this precious gem you've had for years to your own niece."
"It's no biggie. Gotta let her have something." She winked her purple eye. Twilight then used her magic to lift the ruby back into the present, closed the box, and place it with the other presents. "Besides, I don't use it much since Spike almost ate it."
"Not my fault it's delicious." Spike crossed her scaly arms, trying his best not to remember that. That only made Twilight giggle.
Just then, two doors open from the kitchen of the castle, and the two earth ponies came in with a two layer cake. It was all yellow with pretty little pink flowers, hearts, and fairies, and had a candle at the top of the layer. This looked so amazing! "Alright gals!" Applejack announced as she and Pinkie Pie walked in with everypony else. "The cake has been served!"
"Now we'll be having some delicious cake filled with chocolate and vanilla filling and the butter cream so mouthwatering of the taste of bananas!" Just with those words, Pinkie was very hungry.
Everypony loved the cake. It even got Scootaloo to drool a bite. "Boy howdy!" Applebloom said. "That cake looks amazing!"
"And sounds so delicious!" Sweetie Belle squealed.
"And I most certainly admire the little triangle symbol you girls added!" Discord chuckled pointing at the cake. "It reminds me so much of an old friend I use to have, before he went insane."
"Who? The blob?" Rainbow Dash smirked, knowing that was possible.
But that's when Applejack realized it. "Wait, what symbol?" She asked.
"Why the triangle right there." Discord pointed again with a smile. "It's on the top layer."
Everypony looked to the cake again, and finally discovered the strange triangle carved into the icy with one eye in the center of it. It was very unusual for something like that to be added to a birthday cake.
Pinkie and Applejack look the most puzzled. "I didn't add that." Pinkie spoke.
"Nor did I." Applejack said.
Suddenly, laughter filled the room. It sounded very evil, and almost like a male. It shiver everypony's spine from the strange laughter.
"What is that?" Sweetie Belle asked hide behind Rarity.
"Discord?" Fluttershy looked up to her creature friend, hoping for an answer. All she noticed, was his face expression was nothing but shock.
"I know that laugh." He spoke softly, no smiling.
Suddenly, the cake exploded. The top layer was ruined. Icy was everywhere and the candle was on top of Applebloom's forehead. Then they all saw a figure crawl out of the cake. It was the shape of a triangle, and had exactly one eye, just like the small symbol. It laughed more and more, finally growing it's arms and legs. Then it grew a hat and bow.
The Cutie Mark Crusaders hid behind their sisters and all everypony did was take a step back. They weren't exactly sure what to do.
This creature was unknown to Twilight, and wasn't sure what it was. She never read a book with something like this.
Then, the strange triangle being flew down to the table of presents, and grabbed Twilight's present in particular. Then it tore the whole box open, revealing the gorgeous ruby gem.
They gasped as it was held in his hands. The triangle creature flew past the ponies, reaching for its only exited.
Twilight, finally doing something, opened her wings to fly to the triangle and tries to use he magic to grab the ruby again. "Hey!" She yelled by all force in her horn. "Give it back!"
The creature looked back, pulling with all his might as well. He was very strong. What monster is this?
"Come on Twilight!" Spike cheered for the Alicorn. "Show that creature what you got!"
Even with small support, Twilight wasn't strong enough to grab the ruby away. But that's when they messed up. They both lost might and caused the rub to fall into the one place unspeakable. They only hope it wasn't broken.
They gasped, a bit surprised. Twilight looked up at the triangle and said, "What did you do to the gem?!"
Finally, the creature spoke with no mouth, "Sorry your highness! But I have business to attend!" He laughed again as a maniac, then he flew and went through the portal. The portal Twilight used to visit Canterlot High.
"Who was that?" Fluttershy asked no pony in particular.
"How dare he took your gem?!" Rarity growled.
Rainbow Dash forced herself to fly to the mirror. "Well let's go get that monster!" But then the force was being held as Applejack held her rainbow tail back.
"Oh great!" Pinkie whined. "He ruined my cake!"
That's when Fluttershy noticed, Discord wasn't moving. His face was the expression filled with horror, almost with defeat. She used her wings to fly next to him, close enough to see his face. "Discord?" She asked. "What's wrong?"
"I....I... I know that guy..." He stuttered.
Everypony's attention looked at him, very surprised. His words, is what made them more shock, and very confusing.
"That was.... Bill Cipher."
