The rain was slowing down now a little, While I was laying on the ground silently, my body was burning by fever, I couldn't get up and it made it worse.

Moon was sticking with me meowing sadly and loudly, asking for help,

I looked at him, half closed eyes, weak and put my hand around him, since it was warm and pulled him closer to me, knowing it was of no use.

I didn't know what time it was by now, but it was night since I left the house in the evening.
My eyes became more heavier and now I couldn't keep them open anymore, no matter how hard I tried and slowly my eyes closed.

I slowly opened my eyes a little to see,
To see him...
Worried but then smiled at me.

"Oh thank God Areum, you woke up".
I looked at him in the eyes,
The eyes that always showed me how much they cared, loved and adored me.
I was running away from those eyes, running away from him, since I thought, we weren't for each other.

But then why?

Why the rain poured and stopped all this from happening?

Why things can't go back to being normal?
While I was busy thinking,

He was looking at me, sitting beside me, on my bed in my room and one hand stroking my cheek, then he placed it on my forehead, to check my fever.

I was still feeling hot, so it was still high and he helped me sit up and grabbed a bowl and said,
"I'm not good with cooking but I tried my best, I hope you drink this soup, Please, it'll be helpful".

He said while looking down and I was looking at him,

I tried to extend my arm towards the bowl, but was too weak to grab it, which he noticed and grabbed my hand and I was too weak to even say or move, so stayed the way I was sitting

He put my hand down and begin to feed me himself, after taking the first spoon in my mouth, I tried to swallow it but coughed, since it wasn't helpful at all.

He panicked and put the bowl aside and rubbed my back a little.
I stopped coughing and was trying to lay down, with which he helped me and stared at me, for a while then said,

"Don't get me wrong please, Trust me, I'm trying to help, OK".
He said without making any eye contact and looking aside, He started removing my clothes and left me in my bikini.

When he was done, he grabbed the bowl and left the room, I guess making his way to the kitchen.
I laid there, without my clothes and the air felt cold on my body, it was a good idea actually but him doing it, made it a little embarrassing.
I felt a little okay.

He came back with another bowl, which had cold water and ice in it and dipped some small towels in it and put it on my forehead.

The cold feeling felt good against my burning skin, I grabbed his hand, when he was moving away from me after putting the towel,

He looked at me in the eyes and I did the same, to which I guess he understood what I meant and cupped my cheek and smiled softly and said,
"I couldn't leave you to die in the rain like that, when I got up, I picked you and brought you inside.

I saw his eyes getting teary and he continued,
"Even if you don't accept me, I'll always love you, I can't help it, I love you truly, I can't let anything happen to you Nia.
He said looking at me in the eyes, then at my lips to which I did the same,

I can't hold it, I've hidden the fact that I like him too, he's nice but I guess, I didn't want to accept the fact.

But now, I just can't hold it back,
I moved my hand to touch his cheek, then cupped it to which he did it...

He did what he needed to do...
He came close to me and,
He kissed me...

The kiss.

It felt like I needed it for ages,
I guess he felt it too, since we both were kissing each other deeply, enjoying it, not wanting to pull away from each other, for a sec.

But he did to took off his shirt and laid on top of me, he was between my legs and started kissing my chest to my neck to my cheek and forehead to my lips, not stopping anytime.

Then at my lips, we deepened the kiss and stayed like that. We both eventually fell asleep in each others arms, While I was laying beside him, while my head resting on his shoulder and his head on top of mine.

He smiled to himself then closed his eyes and slept.
