~A/N: Annnnd we're back to these chapters. Great. Happy that I'm back? *SPOILER KINDA* we're getting to the first climax *NO MORE SPOILER KINDA* Soooo, I literally just finished writing this chapter after writer's block. You better be happy with it~

  School started back again. It seemed like a fresh start, like everyone was starting anew. Chrissy seemed more positive than usual, as if she was trying to forget the negatives. Taurtis was trying to become 'the bad boy' again, but I didn't blame him. Grian was acting a bit more...friendly...towards Chrissy and yes, I noticed. But I didn't really care.

Why? I felt...torn inside. While everyone else was trying to be more positive, all I was doing was getting more negative. I kept getting headaches and was not able to sleep at night. Something inside me was awakening...and it wasn't good.

I walked in on the third day back to school. It was a Wednesday. After this day, I would forever hate Wednesdays.

The bell rang and I sat down at my desk. I looked out the window and saw that it was raining. I sighed. Rain made everything worse.

Okami started the class, but I wasn't listening. I kept staring out the window, watching the rain fall. After what seemed like little time, the bell rang.

I got up and walked out of the class, ignoring the person calling my name, but they weren't going to let me.

"SAM GLADIATOR!" they yelled. I felt a hand grip my shoulder.

"I'm not in the mood, okay?" I said, walking away.

"I will not have you ignore me!" The voice was female. Chrissy.

"Too bad."

"Then I guess I'll go make out with Grian then."

"You wouldn't-" I turned around. Chrissy laughed and walked over to me.

"I knew that would get your attention." Her face went serious. "What's wrong, Sam? I know something's wrong."

"It's nothing." I started turning back around, but Chrissy stopped me.

"Tell me."

"Later. We're going to miss lunch."

"You don't eat lunch!"

"Can I just tell you later? I'm not in the mood."

"Fine. But next time, you're not getting away so easily."

She walked away, heading towards the stairs. I went to the stairs too, but instead of going down, I went up. I stepped out on the roof, and sat down near a wall.

"What's going on?" I asked myself. "Is it the thing? Why? Why now?"

Then the pain came. I felt like a million knives were stabbing me, although there was no blood.

"Hahaha", something in my head said, laughing. (A/N: obviously)

Who are you? I asked it, panicking. What are you doing?

"I'm Insanity. I'm taking over."

No!

"I'm going to hurt a lot of people, Sam. And there will be nothing you can do about it."

No! I should've told Chrissy!

"You're too late."

NO! I forced the thing to be still. I had to keep him contained, at least until I could tell the others.

I ran down the stairs. I needed to get out of the school.

I pulled out my phone and sent Chrissy a message: "@ChrissyKaru I need to see you in the school parking lot. Now."

I ran to the parking lot. I sat on top of one of J's many cars he parked there, waiting for Chrissy.

I saw her step into the lot. She saw me and ran over to me. She sat on the car too and put her hand on my shoulder.

"Sam," she said. "What is it?"

"You know the whole 'monster' thing that happens twice a lifetime?"

"Yeah?"

"I think it's happening."

"Oh my gosh Sam. How do you know?"

I told her everything. I felt a few tears stream down my face.

"It's okay," Chrissy said, pulling me close.

"I just-I don't want to hurt anyone."

"I know."

"Should we tell Okami and Rowan?"

"I think so."

We got up. Chrissy took my hand, and we walked back into the school.

We walked into the gym and into Rowan's office behind the stage. He was there, along with Okami.

"Okami? Rowan?" Chrissy said. They looked up. "We need to tell you something."

"Alright then," Okami said.

I shut the door and sat down next to Chrissy, who had sat down on a box.

"Is it about the Yakuza?" Rowan asked. Me and and Chrissy looked at exact other.

"Uh, kinda," I said.

"Tell us."

So we told them. Okami and Rowan didn't interrupt us until we had finished.

"I don't want to hurt anyone," I said at the end. Chrissy put her hand on my shoulder.

"What do we do?" I asked, looking at Okami and Rowan.

"I don't know yet, but we'll figure something out," Okami said. Me and Chrissy nodded slowly.

Suddenly, the door burst open. Grian and Taurtis came in.

"Where were you?" Grian asked me.

Chrissy sighed and said, "Do we have to explain this again?"

"I think so," I said.

Once we told them, Taurtis and Grain's mouthes dropped open.

"No," Taurtis said.

"Why now?" Grian asked.

"I know," I said, sighing.

"We should go," Chrissy said, standing up. Then she looked at Okami and Rowan. "You'll tell us when you come up with something?"

They nodded. I stood up, and we all walked out the door. The bell had rung, so we left the school.

Chrissy grabbed my hand and gripped it. Then she whispered in my ear, "I won't let anything happen to you. I promise."

It's been two days since Insanity threatened to take over. It's been harder and harder for me to control him. I feel like he's going to take over soon. And I feel like he's going to hurt someone as soon as he did.

It was after school. The sun has set, and Grian and Taurtis had gone to bed. I stayed up, fighting Insanity. He was going to take over. It wasn't long.

I ran out of the apartment. I couldn't let Taurtis or Grian get hurt. I ran out of the building and far across the town.

"Not long now," Insanity said. "I will be in control soon."

I'm not letting you hurt my friends, I said to him. 

"Ha! You won't be around to do anything about it."

I kept running. I ran outside the town, leaving everything behind me. Then the pain came. It was worse than before. I fell to the ground.

"Finally!" Insanity said. "I'm in control."

"No!" I yelled. It was too late. I felt my vision go black, but not from passing out. Everything turned black, outlined in white. Then I felt myself slipping away...

Yes! I'm in control once again. I stood up. This is going to be fun.

"Now I need a weapon," I said. "And I know who has one..."

I walked back into town. I needed to find her. Then I would kill her.

She was wandering the streets. Her pink hair was dripping wet from the rain that had started pour heavily.

"Kill her..." I heard her mutter. "Must...kill Chrissy..."

"Yuki!" I called. I ran over to her. She turned her head, glaring at me.

"What do you want, Sam?"

"I need your knife."

"No!"

I grabbed her arms and pinned her against a nearby wall. I could feel my eyes go dark.

"Give. Me. Your. Knife."

"Okay." She reached into her jacket and pulled it out. I grinned, and took it. Then I put it up to her neck.

"Say goodbye."

"No! I can help you, Insanity." She grinned.

"How did you know?"

"Reasons. Let me help you."

"Alright." I lowered the knife. Yuki reached into her jacket again and pulled out another knife.

"Who do you want me to kill first?"

I looked into Sam's memories. "Paul Blart," I said. "He's a good one to start with."

"Okay. See you later!" She ran off.

"Now for me..." I looked into Sam's memories again. I chose the first person I saw.

"Hm, Grian. Let's see how he deals with this."
