~A/N: okay, last chapter of the day. Be warned, this is slightly graphic, but it's more of a scare-you-for-life chapter. Although it probably won't. Anyways, when I said 'graphic' before, I meant 'it's a slightly scare-you-for-life chapter.' Okay, you want to read this chapter. Maybe. Probably. Why do I keep saying that?~

  "Son. Wake up."

I jerked myself awake. I kept my eyes closed. I tried to move my arms. I couldn't. The same happened with my legs. I opened my eyes. Leaning over me, smiling maliciously, was my so-called 'father.'

"Good, you're up," he said. He looked at my forehead and frowned. "We need to get that cleaned up. Sorry about the push. I didn't mean for my men to do that."

I remembered what happened. "You're sick!" I yelled.

"Now Taurtis, don't be so harsh." Karu stepped back. I took in my surroundings. I was strapped to a metal chair that had wires plugged into it. It was closed off at the top so, if I looked up, I would only see the chair. Directly across from me was a mirror that took up the top half of the wall. I looked at my reflection. My hair was messy (isn't it always?) and dry blood was trickling down my forehead. My hands were clenched into fists.

Upon seeing the wires plugged into the chair, I panicked. I was sweating instantly.

"Don't you panic," Karu said mockingly. "It'll all be over soon. I just need to...show you a few things." He left the room. I tried to move my hands, maybe get one of the straps loose, but it was no use. I was stuck.

The door opened again. A man pushed in a cart that had a large T.V. on top of it. Karu was behind him. The man plugged the T.V. into an outlet in the wall. He turned on the T.V. It seemed to be hooked to the cameras inside whatever building we were in. Then he left the room.

Karu walked over to me, pulling the cart with him. Soon it was only a foot away from my face. I looked at the different screens on the T.V. The top left screen said "Cam 1" in the corner. The screen showed Grian alone in a small room, curled up in the corner. He seemed to be crying. He kept shaking his head. Karu flipped a switch to turn on the audio for that camera. I heard the faint noise of crying.

"Why?" Grian whispered. "Why?" The audio turned off.

I moved my eyes to the other screens. They mostly showed hallways and other empty rooms. Then I got to "Cam 8." It showed Sam, strapped to what looked like a dentist chair. It also had wires plugged into it. He was scared and sweating. Karu turned on that audio. A man came into the room and walked over to a large, metal box that the wires from the chair came came from. There was a large switch on it. The man placed his hand on it. Sam shook his head.

"No," he whimpered. "No, no please no." The man flipped the switch. The chair seemed to become electric and Sam jerked. He screamed. It kept going on. I closed my eyes. Karu turned off the audio. I still kept my eyes closed.

"There's one person you're forgetting," Karu said. I opened my eyes slowly and searched for Chrissy on the screen.

I saw her. On "Cam 10." She seemed to have escaped from being cuffed to the wall. She was running around the small room, banging on the walls. She had scratches and cuts all over her. She was bleeding. Karu turned the audio on.

"Let. Me. OUT!" she yelled, banging on the wall. She lowered her head.

"I might as well go out now," she whispered. "I HATE YOU!" She yelled at the camera, running up to it and hitting the walls hard. Then she crumbled to the ground, not moving. Her eyes were closed. She was barely breathing. My mouth was open. Karu turned off the T.V.

"YOU'RE A MONSTER!" I yelled at him. He just laughed.

"Am I?" he said. "Would you really say that to your father, Taurtis?"

"You're a liar. You're cruel, black-hearted, and evil!"

"You are so amusing. Tell me Taurtis, would you like to join the Yakuza? You don't need your friends. They don't care about you. They've probably already forgotten you. Did you see them, only worrying about theirselves?"

"I'd rather die."

"Hm. Oh well. Your choice." He walked away. I heard a lever being pulled.

"Let's see if you change your mind after this."
