Audrey dropped her bag on the floor in the living room. Her brother did the same behind her. It was a long day, she spent most of it worrying about Kurt. He was sweet, and he didn't deserve to be bullied, especially by her brother.

"Dave? Can I ask you a question?" Audrey asked, opening the fridge.
"Yeah, what's up?" Dave said sitting down on the couch.
She grabbed two sodas and plopped down on the couch next to him.
She passed him a soda and began, "why do you push Kurt around?" Dave took a sip of his drink and said,"I don't." Audrey glared, "Dave, I've seen it. Yes, you do." "Whatever." Dave rolled his eyes and ran up the stairs to his room. She huffed and rolled her eyes.

For the first time in a while Kurt actually had a smile on his face coming home from school. He couldn't stop thinking about how accepting Audrey was. "What are you smiling about?" Burt asked, as the happy Kurt sat down at the table. "I made a friend today." Kurt smiled. "Oh, awesome. What's his name?" Burt asked sitting down across from his son. "Her name is Audrey." Kurt said with a nod. "She's the only kid outside of glee club that's actually nice to me." Kurt continued with a smile. "Well, that's great. She's okay with you being gay?" He asked. "Yeah, totally. She said something about it being who I was, and that it doesn't really matter." He explained. "That's awesome, buddy." Burt smiled and patted his son on the back and went to go watch football. Kurt took his bag up to his room and worked on some homework. He couldn't wait for the next day, he finally had someone to talk too.
