It all started with a slushy. In the middle of the hallway, stood a small boy. He had very fancy clothes, now stained with a bright, red, slushy.

"Oh my god, are you okay?" A girl appeared in front of the boy. "No, not really." The boy responded, brushing the slushy off of his face. "Here come with me." The girl grabbed his hand and led him into the girl's bathroom. The girl had quite the interesting style, her hair was cut in a short bob...it was brown with bright pink ends. She had on a black collared shirt, tucked into high-waisted blue jeans, and white converse to top it all off.

She grabbed a paper towel and soaked it under the water, she began to clean the red goo off of the boy. "Thanks." He smiled, looking up at her. "No problem." She smiled back. "Your a freshman, aren't you? I'm Audrey." She said, while still brushing the slushy off. "Yeah, I am. I'm Kurt." The boy said. The boy's voice was much higher-pitched than most boys his age.

"Sorry that you got slushied. That sucks." Audrey said while tossing the paper towel into the trash can. "Yeah, that guy has been bugging me for weeks." Kurt sighed. "Dave?" She asked. "Yeah...him." He shrugged. "I'll handle him." Audrey assured the younger boy. "I can deal with it on my own." Kurt snapped. "It's not that I think you are incapable...it's just...he's my brother. He might listen to me." Audrey quickly said, she didn't mean to offend the boy. "Oh...I didn't realize he was your brother." Kurt apologized. "Yeah, I don't know what's gotten into him. He used to be so sweet." She shrugged.

"You do realize why he bullies me right?" Kurt asked. "No, why?" Audrey looked up. "It's because...I'm gay." Kurt said. "That's no reason to bully you. It's who you are." Audrey shrugged. "Wait, so it doesn't bother you that I'm gay?" Kurt furrowed his eyebrows. "No, of course not. Why would it?" She asked. "It bothers most people." He sighed. "Well it doesn't bother me." She smiled, and placed her hand on his shoulder. Kurt nodded his head with a smile.

"Well, I've got to get to class. I'll see you around, Kurt." Audrey smiled and waved to him. "Yeah...see ya around."

Audrey left the restroom, she felt bad for the boy, it wasn't fair. He seemed so sweet and innocent. She was definitely going to have a talk with her brother.
