     The ride to the beach was beginning to be annoying. We had traveled all day, and we still had a few hours to go. It was nighttime by now, and I was tired, but Kate and Grant were already snoring their heads off. I was left alone, with nothing but a radio playing in the background. That was the only thing that was keeping me awake by now... hopefully the sun was going to be up soon.

     Surprisingly, we made it to the hotel before the sun arose, due to my driving (since Katelyn drives like an old woman). Grant and Kate were still asleep by this time, and I figured I'd have to shake both of them. I decided to wake Kate first. I got out of the drivers seat and closed the door after myself. I went to her side of the car, and I opened the door making sure she didn't try and fall out. I had done that once, but that's long story.

    "Kate? Kate, wake up." I shook her gently from my squatting position and she finally came to life; her bright green eyes that matched mine opening and realizing her situation. She yawned and stretched her legs.

     "Are we here?" I nodded to her as she looked over at me and then looked to the rear view mirror seeing Grant still cradling himself in the back seat. She smiled sleepily and took off her seatbelt.

    "Go wake up fat ass and I'll be ready to go in by the time he wakes up." She said and I nodded as I got up to head to his side of the car again (on the drivers side but in back seat). I wanted to wake Kate up because she could usually wake up pretty quickly as she wasn't a deep sleeper.

    I opened Grant's door and unbuckled his seatbelt for him before shaking him as well. 

    "Grant? Hey, were here." He stirred but didn't open his eyes.

    "Hey, Grant." I shook him once more as he opened his eyes and gave me a death look.

    "Why do I have to be awake?" He ask deeply, and I could tell he didn't like to be awoken.

    "We're here." With that tiny phrase, Grant was awake and well. And somebody said they didn't like the beach...

     "Alright, lets get out stuff inside!" He smiled happily and helped Kate with our things before heading inside.

     Heading down the hallway, I was trotting behind Kate and Grant. We had checked in and gotten our keys for the room after we had come inside. The sun had not yet come up and we were probably going to sleep most of the first day. After unlocking the apartment, we walked in, finding it to be spacious and stylish. I smiled at all the pictures and pieces of furniture scattered around. All of it was beach themed as it should be.

    "Well, Kate, you get the guest. Grant, you take the other guest bedroom and I'll take the master." I smiled playfully at them, though Grant didn't seem to mind and walked into the closest guest bedroom, which happened to be right next to the entry door. I giggled slightly.

   "Honestly, I'm too tired to fuss so I'll take the other guest. The bedrooms aren't much different anyway..." she stretched and took my stuff into the master bedroom and then walked into the other guest bedroom. I had to agree, I was extremely tired too.

    I walked into the master before going into the bedroom and finishing my business before going to the bed and flopping onto the covers. I smiled at the small warmth and fell into a deep sleep.
