Somewhere in the hustle-bustle of the city lives 35 years old Aniket Raichand, the CEO of Raichand and Sons were specialists in exports since the 1980s. His father who arrived in Mumbai from a small Village name Raipur stated in Uttar Pradesh established himself as the no.1 exporter of Mumbai and after his dismissal, Aniket's aim was to maintain the position and become one of the top exporters of India.
Raichand Villa
Aniket was on the phone call with the manager "haan! Ye consignment aaj hi export hona chahiye.. Port pe koi dikkat aati hai toh mujhe call karna main handle kar lunga"
He disconnected the call and headed toward the dining area for breakfast. He heard a feminine voice singing the devotee song from the temple of the house, he smiled and walked towards the temple removing his shoes.
He folded his hands in front of the god idols and closed his eyes, Kaushalya his mother stared at him for being late for the Pooja.
The devotee song ended, and the lady who is in her early 30s turned toward Kaushalya and Aniket. She forwarded the prayer's plate and Kaushalya took the "aarti". She gave her (Kaushalya) the sweet who taunted her "kabhi mujhe bhi mauka do main tumhe mithai khilau"
Hearing her words the young lady's face became dull, she remained silent and then forwarded the plate towards Aniket. He took the Aarti and then the sweet. He said "maa.. mithai toh aap apne haatho se banake mujhe aur Nitya ko khila sakti ho"
Kaushalya looked at her son and said "tu zyada iski tarafdari mat kar! aaj 10 minute der se aaya aarti mein.. aur dusre laad sahab hai ki ab tak apni shakal tak nahi dikhayi hai"
"maaji raat ko Aarav der se aaya tha.. maine hi kaha tha usse subah jaldi na uthe" Nitya informed her.
Kaushalya walked away from there. Nitya kept the plate near the God idol and moved to the kitchen.
She had already done the preparation for the breakfast, and she quickly made it. "kaka.. maine bana diya hai aap jaldi se bahar le jayie"
The servant followed her orders and took the breakfast to the dining table. Nitya came out and kept the coffee in front of Aniket "ye rahi tumhari coffee.." he smiled at her.
She then kept the tea in front of Kaushalya "maaji ye lijiye aapki chai.."
Suddenly a kid entered the house, Nitya went to him and smiled "beta aaj kya gira aapka hamari chatt pe?"
"aunty... wo meri ball" the 5-year-old kid told her innocently.
Nitya went to the terrace and got the ball, she came downstairs after about 5 minutes and gets on her knees. She handed it to him and he gave her a kiss on her right cheek "Thank you, aunty.." he run out of the house while Nitya smiled hearing him.
Kaushalya saw the scenario and sighed deeply "dusron ke bacho ko niharne se tumhara khudka bacha nahi ho jayega! maa ban sakti toh aaj mere aniket ka beta yahan khel raha hota"
Aniket sighed hearing her words. He looked at Nitya who was still sitting on her knees, the pain of not becoming a mother was reflected clearly in her eyes.
"maa.. roj ye baat karni zaroori hai kya? hum jaise bhi hai khush hai" Aniket said.
"tu toh subah se shyam tak daftar mein rehta hai! tere doston ke bache dekhti hun toh mera bhi mann karta hai tere bache ko apni godh mein khilau par ye banjh.." she paused when she heard a voice.
"bhabhi maa...." it was the loud voice of her younger son.
Nitya stood up and came to the dining table. Aarav hugged her from behind and said "Good morning bhabhi maa.."
Nitya passed him a fake smile "Good morning!"
Aarav wasn't pleased the way she replied. "ye kya bhabhi maa.. aise rukhe sukhe morning wish karogi apne devar ko.. jao main nashta nahi karunga" he spoke making a face.
Nitya made him sit on the chair and served him the breakfast "Aur main tumhe bina breakfast kare jaise jaane dungi ghar ke bahar.." she said.
"nahi mujhe nahi khana" he refused to eat.
She sat down beside him and feed him with her own hands. Aniket pretended to be jealous "itne pyaar se toh mere rutne pe mujhe bhi nahi khilaya tumne kabhi Nitya"
"mere pyaare bhaiya.. aisa pyaar sirf bete jaise devar ko naseeb hota hai! hai na bhabhi maa?" he asked looking at Nitya.
Nitya smiled genuinely hearing his words. She ruffled his hair, and Kaushalya said "Aarav.. kabhi maa ki baat bhi sun liya kar"
Aarav eyed her and spoke "maa.. tum wahi purani baat karogi shaadi ki jo mujhe karne mein koi interest nahi hai!"
Aniket supported Aarav "Exactly maa.. papa ka waqt aur tha! aur rahi baat bache ki toh agar hamari kismat mein maa baap banna likha hoga toh hum maa baap banenge"
Nitya didn't want them to argue with Kaushalya further "Aap dono ko apne kaam pe nahi jaana hai kya?"
Aniket stood up, he kissed her forehead and she assured him she is fine. He left for the office, while Aarav completed his breakfast.
Aniket and Nitya married at the age of 29 and 26 respectively. It was a love marriage, Nitya was the daughter of Aniket's father's close friend. Kaushalya never liked Nitya as she had chosen a girl from her village for Aniket but accepted her as her daughter-in-law for sake of her son moreover when Nitya was told by the doctor that she won't be able to conceive a child, her hatred turned deeper.
Aniket loved Nitya and even being provoked by his mother, he always stood by Nitya. Aarav was Nitya's bigger support, she was two years younger than Aarav but in relation, she was elder so he referred to her as "bhabhi Maa" giving her equal respect which he gives to his mother and brother.
Whenever Nitya gets upset Aarav cheers her up with his silly acts and makes her laugh. He loves Aniket and Nitya more than he loves himself. He has been very much career-oriented since the beginning so decided never to get married, especially after he watches his mother treating Nitya with her orthodox thinking he had said a big "no" to the wedding. He is happy owning a modeling agency and running fashion shows across the country.
