At Home

Aniket was working from home today, Nitya entered the room and saw his files scattered on the bed. The towel was on the blanket while his clothes which should be in the laundry were on the chair. Yesterday, he was scolding Aarav for this same habit and today he was in this position.

Nitya kept her hands on her waist and eyed Aniket who was busy doing work on the laptop. "Aniket..." she uttered his name.

He replied "haa.." his eyes were still fixed on the laptop.

Nitya asked "aapka towel kaha hai?"

"Nahake maine sukha diya tha" he replied.

"Really?? Toh ye blanket ke upar kiska towel hai?" Nitya asked. Aniket turned behind and glanced at the way she was standing. He then rolled his eyes towards the bed and saw his towel on the blanket.

He gulped down his throat, Nitya scolded him "kitni baar kaha hai aapse mujhe gila towel blanket ya bed pe bilkul pasand nahi hai! Kal aap Aaru ko daant rahe they aur aaj khud kamre ka haal dekhiye kya kiya hai"

Aniket silently heard her as he was at fault. Aniket got up and picked up his files but Nitya stopped him "Rehne dijiye main kar lungi aap apna office ka kaam kijiye" she spoke while picking up the files and arranging them back on the study table.

Aniket picked up the towel, Nitya snatched it from his hand and walked to the balcony where a clothes stand was kept. She placed it on the stand and turned to see Aniket was standing there holding his ears "Sorry..."

She passed by him and smiled sheepishly but hid her smile immediately. Aniket again came in front of her and said "subah jaldi mein tha isliye towel yahi rakh diya.. Aur jab work from home karta hun toh thoda lazy ho jaata hun" he accepted his mistake.

"Acha? Kal subah bechare Aaru ko daanta.. Aapki hi habit hai usme" Nitya said.

"Haan I accept that! Agli baar nahi datunga tumhare laadle devar ko" Aniket spoke.

Nitya smiled hearing him, Aniket thought for a moment and said "Waise.. Bahut waqt ho gaya hai hum kaafi din se candle light dinner pe nahi gaye hai"

Nitya looked at him for a moment, she smiled "toh aap mujhe dinner pe le jaana chahte hai" she asked

"Haan sirf hum dono jayenge.. Bhabhi maa karte karte Aaru peeche peeche nahi aayega" he warned her as last time he had spoiled the candle light dinner by becoming bone in Kabab between them.

Nitya laughed hearing him as she remembered that dinner night. "Thik hai main koshish karungi wo hamare saath nahi chale... par promise nahi kar sakti" Nitya said as she can't stop Aarav from interfering between them.

"Haan.. thik hai toh aaj raat 8 baje" He said with excitement. Nitya agreed and walked out of the room.

Aniket thought "iska bharosa nahi hai.. Kuch toh karna padega Saali sahiba se help leta hun"

Nitya prepared the dinner for Kaushalya, Manvi and Aarav. She was excited for the candle light dinner with Aniket. Manvi entered the kitchen and saw her preparing the food, she asked "Di.. itni jaldi khana kyun bana rahi ho?"

"Aniket mujhe dinner pe le jaa rahe hai aaj isliye" Nitya said to her.

"Wow... dinner date haaye how romantic" she babbled in excitement.

Nitya gave her a look and said "Shhh... maaji ne sun liya na toh bawaal kar dengi unhe ye sab pasand nahi hai"

Manvi made a face "Di tell me something new!! Waise toh bacha bacha krte rehti hai lekin bete bahu ko romance nhi krne dengi! Bacha kya khak paida hoga"

Nitya was shocked hearing her words "shhhh... Kuch bhi bolti hai mannu!"

She picked up the salad bowl and was about to eat from it but someone snatched the bowl from her hand.

Manvi looked and it was Aarav, he ate the salad while Manvi shouted "Tum!! Jab dekho mere haath se khana cheente rehte ho! How cheap is that"

"Abhi office se kaam karke aaya hun main... bhook lagi hai mujhe" Aarav replied and enjoyed the food.

"Seedha bolo na tum jal rahe ho mere aane se.. Because Di mujhe tumse zyada pyaar karne lagi hai" she spoke and gave Nitya a side hug triggering Aarav's anger.

"Jab dekho chipakti rehti ho.. Chipku kahiki..." Aarav confronted her.

"Excuse me.. I am not chipku you are jalkukdu" Manvi fired back at him.

Manvi and Aarav argued over the matter, Nitya took a deep breath. Aniket saw this and found this best opportunity to move out of the house with Nitya. He signaled Nitya, she looked at him and he asked her to come out of the kitchen.

Nitya moved and asked "kya hua??"

"Maa mandir gayi hai.. Aur ye sahi mauka hai chalo" Aniket grabbed her hand and took her out of the house.

Nitya spoke "Are Aniket maine change bhi nahi kiya hai..."

"Dekho Aarav kabab mein haddi ban jayega.. New dress dilwa dunga raste mein.. Wahi change kar lena" He uttered and made her sit inside the car.

Aniket quickly drove off and Nitya smiled "Aniket.. Aap bhi na.. Waha dono ladai kar rahe hai aur aap mujhe aise le aaye"

"Unka ye roj ka kaam hai.. Ab tum mujhpe dhyan do" Aniket said, looking at her. Nitya touched his cheek and turned his face towards the front.

"Aap driving pe dhyan dijiye" She said.

At Home

Aarav and Manvi finished their argument. Manvi turned and didn't find Nitya in the kitchen. She looked here and there.. "Di..."

Aarav also realized Nitya wasn't around, he again blamed her "Dekha tumhari wajah se bhabhi maa naraz hoke chali gayi" he walked out of the kitchen in search of Nitya.

Manvi smiled "lagta hai jiju se 8 baje tak bhi intezar nahi hua.. Le gaye Di ko uda ke" she found it so cute and thrilling.

Aarav didn't even find Aniket home "bhai bhi ghar pe nahi hai aur aaj toh unka kaam ghar se hi tha.." he grew suspicious.

He took out his phone from his jeans pocket and called Aniket but it was engaged. He called Nitya and the phone rang in the house itself. Aarav eyed Manvi who was sitting on the couch and watching a thriller film.

He asked "e chipku... bhabhi maa kaha gayi hai?" he was sure Nitya must have told her about her whereabouts.

"Tumhe batana zaroori nahi samjhi" Manvi gave her a firm reply.

Manvi's phone buzzed, she read the message "Maa mandir se wapas aayengi unhe mat batana hum dinner date ke liye gaye hai.. Aur haan iss kabab mein haddi ko toh bilkul nahi! Warna tapak padega"

"Okay jiju! Fikar not and have fun" she sent the message with a wink emoji.

Aarav grabbed his place beside her and switched the channel. Manvi glared at him and said "movie kyun change ki tumne?"

"IPL chal raha hai.. I can't miss the match" Aarav spoke.

"But I hate cricket.. Meri movie" Manvi tried to snatch the remote from his hand but Aarav didn't let her have it.

She lands on top of him while trying to snatch the remote from his hand. Manvi even bit his arm, he screamed "Aah... tum toh jungli billi bhi ho..."

"Ye kya tum mera naamkaran karte rehte ho! Give me the remote" she yelled at him but he showed his tongue.

Kaushalya was in the temple for prayers, she walked down the temple stairs and stopped seeing her close friend Gaitri with a 4 year old kid. Gaitri looked at her and smiled "Are kaushalya bade saalo baad.."

Kaushalya smiled at her, Gaitri asked "tere bete aur bahu kaisi hai? Chote ne abtak shaadi ki hi nahi?"

"Nahi.. jabse bahu aayi hai dono bete meri kum uski zyda sunte hai! 7 saal ho gaye hai aur abtak ek bacha tak paida nahi kiya hai usne" Kaushalya poured out her feelings to her.

Gaitri looked at her grandson and said "beta aap upar jao main aati hun"

The child obeyed her and climbed the stairs. Gaitri said "yahi hota hai jab bache apne pasand ki ladki se shaadi karte hai! Mere bete ne bhi yahi galti ki thi.. Maine toh use saaf saaf kah diya.. Ya toh mujhe ek pota de ya main zeher kha lungi"

Kaushalya was shocked to hear her "kya??"

"Haa.. jab koi tarqeeb kaam na aaye toh ye apnana padta hai! Agli din bahu ko uske mayke chodke aaya aur maine uski dusri shaadi karayi apni manpasand ladki se phir kya tha? Ek saal ke andar main dadi ban gayi" Gaitri said proudly.

Kaushalya thought for a moment. "Lekin Aniket bahut prem karta hai Nitya se."

"Maa ke pyaar aur zindagi ke aage biwi ka pyaar kuch nahi hota hai Kaushalya.. Azmake dekhke" Gaitri provoked her.

Kaushalya greeted her and walked down the stairs. She sat inside the car and headed towards home thinking about Gaitri's words.

Kaushalya reached home and the scenario she saw in front of her eyes was shocking. She saw Manvi climbing on top of him, she shouted "manvi..."

Aarav and Manvi looked towards her. Kaushalya approached and did something unexpected leaving ArMan (Aarav and Manvi) shocked.
