It was her appointment day with Aditi, Manvi was sitting on the bed and glaring at Aarav. He was searching for something in the room such that he had messed up the whole room.

"Ek file di thi wo bhi sambhalke nahi rakhi gayi isse" she murmured.

Aarav had heard her, he shot a deadly glare at her "iss room mein sirf main nahi rehta hun.."

"Main tumhari zimmedari hun na? Toh meri har cheez tumhe sambhali thi" Manvi argued with him.

"Ab kya tumhe apne seene se lagake ghumun? Mere kamre pe pura kabza karka baithi ho.. Bhabhi maa ki laadli banke baithi ho.. Bhai ki pyaari saali.." Aarav said making a face.

Manvi laughed hearing him "alle alle.. Chachu ko koi importance nahi de raha hai.." she teased him more.

Aarav walked toward her and leans down to her. She gets silent and stares at him. Whenever he gets much closer to her, her heartbeat starts to accelerate and she turns silent which never happened before.

"Baby ki temporary chachi.. Teen mahine aur main phirse meri bhabhi maa favourite aur bhai ka pyaar bhai samjhi! Ye kamra bhi mera aur tum bhi meri life se out" Aarav said with a smirk on his face.

Manvi gets angry hearing his words, she pushes him such that he ends up falling on the floor. "Nahi jaungi main!" she shouts.

"Aise kaise nahi jaogi? Contract yaad hai na??" He asked teasingly.

"Haa yaad hai! I hate you" she yelled at him and walked out of the room.

Aarav sighed deeply "ye iska paara kyun high ho jaata hai contract ke naam se?? Mood swings.." he looks under the bed and picks up the file.

"Oh mil gayi.. Warna aaj ki appointment miss ho jaati" he said in concern and runs out of the room.

Manvi comes to the hall and something comes in her way. She trips but Aarav grabs her on time. Aarav shot a deadly glare at her "itne mahino mein abtak sambhalke chalna nahi seekho ho tum!" he scolds her for her carelessness.

"Sorry.." she apologized.

Aarav eyed her wide eyes and open mouth. He closes his eyes for a moment but Manvi slaps on his arm "behosh mat hona.."

He makes her stand properly and replies "tum aise jhatke deti ho na mujhe! Meri daant chup chap sun leti ho..?"

She smiled at him and walked off as he won't understand.

Nitya was trying to call Aniket, she sighed deeply "maine kaha tha aaj mannu ka appointment hai phir bhi office gaya"

Aarav walked to her and asked "kya hua bhabhi maa?"

"Tumhare bhaiya.. Abtak aaye nahi hai" Nitya replied.

"Bhai aa jayenge hum chalte hai na" Aarav suggests.

"Chalo.." Nitya agreed. She messaged Aniket that they are heading to the hospital and he should reach there directly.

They moved out of the house, Aarav opens the door and Manvi sits inside the car. She smiled at his gesture, she knows all his care is till the birth of the child after that he won't even look at her as he had always referred to her as "my brother's surrogate".

Aarav drove off towards the hospital, he called Aniket and asked "bhai kaha ho aap?"

"Aaru raste mein hun" he replied

"Be there on time bhai.. Warna bhabhimaa se pehle aapka murder main kar dunga" Aarav warned him.

"Haan baba.. Aa raha hun" Aniket assured him he will be there on time.

Aarav ends the call and glanced at Manvi through the mirror. She was continuously speaking to Nitya, he smiled a bit and then looked in front seriously.

Nitya thought "ye dono bhi na.. Ladai ke mamle mein no. 1 lekin jab pyaar ki baat aati hai toh bas khamosh ho jaate hai!"

Within half hour, they reached the hospital. Aarav parked the car and they entered inside. Aniket was standing at the corner, Nitya glanced at him. He walked to her and said "sorry.."

"What sorry Ani? Maine kaha tha na aaj mat jaana office" she retorted.

"Avoid kar sakta toh kar deta na.. Gussa mat karo please" he made an innocent face.

She nodded and smiled at him.

"How cute.." Manvi said admiring them.

"Kya cute? Bhabhi maa aapko toh daant lagani thi bhai ko" Aarav said as he missed the chance to annoy his brother.

"Tum dono ki tarah nahi hai hum ki bas ladai karte rahe.." Aniket taunted.

Aarav and Manvi exchanged glances with each other. "Chalo ab baaki baatein ghar jaake" Nitya said.

They walked towards Aditi's cabin. Aarav stops for a moment while Manvi and Aniket entered the room. Nitya turned back and signaled him to come but he denied. He takes out his phone and shows her there is an important call. He walks off from there, Aniket called Nitya in and she goes into the room.

Aditi questioned Manvi "kaisi ho? How does it feel like?"

"Good.. I can now feel the baby inside me.." she said with excitement.

Nitya smiled hearing her, she was feeling overwhelmed. She doesn't know how her sister will hand over the child to her after the birth as she had seen her already attached to the unborn.

Manvi lays down on the bed and Anitya were present beside her. Nitya held her hand tightly while Aniket's eyes were fixed on the screen. Manvi looked around but Aarav wasn't present. She sighed deeply, Aditi lifts up her top and applies some liquid to her abdomen. She presses a small hand device against the abdomen and moves it as needed to capture the images. She points towards the screen displaying the image of the baby.

Nitya and Aniket looked at the scream with moist eyes as they could see a tiny images of the baby. Manvi looked at both of them with a smile. She eyed the screen, she was controlling herself from getting emotional.

"Ye Aaru kaha rah gaya?? Jabse mujhe phone karke pareshan kar diya aur ab khud gayab hai" Aniket said.

"Ab uska wait thodi karte rehenge.. Aur bhi patients hai Aditi ke" Nitya replied.

Manvi nodded but she wanted him to see the sonography live. Aditi gives some supplements and then they walk out of the room.

They stepped out of the hospital and Aarav's car was missing. "Ye kaha gaya bina bataye? Achanak?" Manvi asked.

"Kaam aa gaya hoga kuch mannu.. Chalo" Aniket said and they left for the house in his car.

Nitya was looking at the images and admiring it. She just can't wait to hold the baby in her arms. She eyed Aniket and said "Ani.. main soch rahi hun hum mannu ki godh bharai kare.."

Aniket stared at her and smiled "tum jo chaho kar sakti ho Nitya.. Bas bata dena mujhe kya karna hai"

"Office mat jaana" she rebuked.

Aniket made a face "ab aa gaya na time pe.. Atleast tumhare laadle devar ki tarah beech mein gayab nahi hua main.." he replied.

"Mumma papa hum hai na baby ke hamara jaana zyada zaroori tha" Nitya said.

Aniket stops the car and glanced at her. He asked "toh kya Aaru hona zaroori nahi tha??"

Nitya smiled and eyed at Manvi through the mirror. Manvi understands now why he disappears, last time she had said he shouldn't bother about the baby as he doesn't have any right.

"Toh tumhara matlab hai itni puri baat ko abtak dil se lagaye ghum raha hai wo?" Aniket asked.

"Tum ache se jante ho use Ani.. 3 saal pehle jo haadsa hua uske liye toh abtak khud ko zimmedar maanta hai toh ye toh phir bhi choti se baat thi" Niya spoke in concern.

"Ye Aaru bhi na..." Aniket sighed in disappointment and headed off towards the house.

They reached home, Manvi climbed the stairs and went into the room. Aniket asked "tumne ye baat Mannu ke saamne kyun ki?"

"Taaki usko realise ho Aaru se ladai ladai mein wo aisi baatein kah deti hai jo uske dil ko dukha deti hai.." Nitya replied.

Aniket smiled hearing her, she kept the reports on the table and they went to their room.

Later at night, Aarav returns home from the office. He moves to the room and finds Manvi sleeping. He glanced at the reports kept on the table. He picked them up and opened them. He saw the sonographic images of the baby and instantly his eyes turned moist. He touched it with his fingers and smiled.

"Bhabhi maa.. It's not fair bhai ne dekhi mujhe nahi dekhne mila.."

"Koi baat nahi bhabhi maa ki godh bharai ke baad hum hospital jayenge aur main dekhunga.."

He then remembered the accident and closed the file.

"Are jab di aur jiju mujhe kuch nahi kah rahe hai toh tum kis haq se mujhe kehte rehte ho?"

"Ye baby di aur jiju ka hai na tum zyada apna haq mat jatao"

He kept it and turned to leave but Manvi held his wrist and said something which left him totally amazed.
