THIRTEEN

"Your hair!" He shouted with his mouth open wide in a smile.

"Do you like it?"

"I love it!" he said as he quickly rushed me, grabbing the locks that fell around my face. "Who did it?"

"Sonny" I smiled, as Tae came through the door his eyes wide.

"It looks really good!" Jimin continued. "You must have been really bored."

"Well you left me here with no one but Hoseok." I teased, Hoseok sitting on the nearby sofa eating a bowl of ramen. In the corner of my eye I saw him smirk as he took a bite, then shaking his head slightly.

"Well I still have one more day before I have to go back to our scheduled practice. Jin also told me that the company wants to get the news of your visit out in the public by today. They have drafted up an announcement, AND, it has been confirmed that you will be going on tour with us." He jumped, huggin me.

"That's exciting!" I replied, hugging him back then sitting on the loveseat opposite of Hoseok.

"I guess that means you're stuck with us for quite a while Noona." Tae said, sitting next to Hoseok, Jimin following him. "This is our big city tour, so we will be gone for a few months."

"Well I will stay as long as I am welcome."

"You will always be welcome." He smiled.

"I do think it may be a good idea if I get my own place after a few months." I told Jimin. "Even if I just rent a small apartment, that way I can give you all your space and I have my own space."

"That's a great idea." Hoseok chimed in, making all of us look over at him.

He looked like a deer in headlights making me laugh. "What? You didn't have fun with me all weekend? Rude."

"It's not that." He said, setting his now empty bowl down. "I just know that it's nice to have your own space. I cant wait to get away from these nerds." He said, pushing Tae so that he would fall over on Jimin.

"Hey!" Tae protested.

"I just think Hobi doesn't like me." I said. "He avoided me the whole weekend."

"Hyung you said you would hang out with her while everyone was away." Jimin pouted.

Hoseok smirked. "She's lying, I entertained her plenty." He laughed, leaning back in his spot.

"I'm just teasing, he kept me company when it counted." I said, making Jimin relax into his seat.

We had casual conversation for a few hours. Jimin and Tae talking about their weekend with their friend Taemin and telling us all about the showcase Jimin helped him with. It went really well, the routine that Taemin had was flawless and thanks to Jimin's help it was executed just as flawlessly. Tae told me how he got a lot of closure out of joining them, because Taemin was not at all interested in in Jimin romantically. In fact, he was dating a woman.

"She's not an idol either." Tae said.

"She isn't?" Hoseok asked.

"Nope." He replied. "And let me tell you the boy is head over heals for her. She knows he's bisexual, but she accepts that about him. Doesn't use him for his money, doesn't ask him for anything."

"That sounds wonderful." I smiled, my eyes briefly locking with Hoseoks.

"I just feel bad for her." Jimin said, leaning back and grabbing the bag of chips that Tae had gotten from the kitchen.

"Why?" I asked, confused by the statement.

Tae was also looking at him funny, but it seems as if Hoseok may have already known his reasoning.

"Because she's dating an idol." Jimin said so matter of factly. "When you're in the industry, when you're surrounded by it all the time, you get the life style. You understand why you have to hide your relationship, you understand why you have to push your urges to hug and kiss each other whenever you want. And even when you do understand, it doesn't make it any easier on you. She is going to have a long road of being without him, and having to watch other people love him. She's not going to be able to vocalize her love for him, if they ever get to that level, she's going to have to always feel like she's second to his career."

"They could always go public." Tae said, his voice soft.

"Oh and ruin her life?" Jimin scoffed. "No way. He wouldn't do that to her."

"Ruin her life?" I asked.

"If they go public, it could very well ruin her life. She would have to remove herself from all social media, she would be very limited to where she could go in public, and honestly, she'd be in danger. Taemin's group is called Criminals, and they are just as popular as we are. There are some crazy fans out there in the world, and some of them are dangerous. If any one of them had the notion to harm her because she 'took him away from the fans' then she could get hurt. She would be followed around constantly. Photographed, no privacy. It's not an easy adaptation, let alone how quick of an adaptation it would be."

"So you're not happy for your friend at all." I laughed, trying to make light at the topic.

"It's not that." He said, throwing a pillow softly at me. "I'm happy he found someone that makes him happy. Especially someone who loves him for who he is and not his status."

"They knew each other growing up before their idol days." Tae added.

"And she is very sweet." Jimin continued. "But he's in the prime of his career. It just doesn't seem likely to work out, and it's going to hurt both of them in the end."

"Jesus, Jimin." I said, his words cold.

"I'm just talking realistic."

"Maybe your realistic ideals don't fit with everyone else." Hoseok said, making us all turn to him.

He was giving Jimin a mean look, that almost looked...angry.

"Come on. You know I'm right. It's not worth the heartache."

"Why does it have to end in heartache?" He asked. "You have no idea what love is worth to them. You don't know if the sacrifice of privacy would be worth it to her. You are damning them before even giving them hope or support."

"I do support them" Jimin defended, now worried he angered Hobi. "I do hope that I'm wrong, but we've seen how this works out."

"True fans want happiness for us." Hoseok reminded him, standing and taking his bowl. "We've sacrificed enough for them, the least they can do is accept those that we love." With that he walked out of the room, taking his bowl to the kitchen to be washed.

"I didn't mean to upset him." Jimin said, looking over to where he was.

"You were being a little harsh, babe." Tae said, rubbing his arm soothingly.

"Do you really think that they wont work out?" I asked Jimin.

He shrugged. "I guess I'm not to judge. I hope they do."

I nodded before turning my attention to the show that was on the TV. I heard Hoseok leave the kitchen and go down the hallway entering their bedroom shutting the door behind him.

He seemed upset, and I worried that Jimin's opinionated rant upset him more than he was leading on.

"I'm going to go shower." I said. "I know that the rest of everyone is going to be back soon, so I want to be refreshed when the announcement happens. Okay?"

"No problem." Jimin said. "I want to take a nap anyway, but I don't want to go into my room."

"Come to mine." Tae said, taking his hand. "I'll nap with you."

I nodded to them, and watched as they made their way down the opposite hallway. Once they were out of sight and I heard the door shut and lock, I made my way to Hoseok. I lightly knocked on the door, to which I was greeted with a very annoyed 'yeah?'

I opened the door a little, peeking through to see him laying on the bed, rubbing his eyes with his fingers.

"Can I come in?" I asked, softly.

He lowered his hands and looked at me. "Yeah." He said, sitting up. "Is Jimin out there?"

"He's taking a nap with Tae in his room." I said, closing the door and locking it behind me. "I wanted to check on you."

"Check on me?" He asked, reaching for my hand and pulling me closer.

"You seemed upset by the last end of that." I said, running my hand through is hair.

He looked defeated in a way. Resting his head on my chest, his fingers played with the end of my shirt before he let out a deep sigh.

"Jimin just rubbed me the wrong way with what he said. And in front of you." He then giggled. "It kind of made me worry that it would make you change your mind about giving this a try."

"Again, we need to get to know each other a lot better before anything serious happens."

"I know that." He said, pulling his head back and guiding me to sit next to him. "Sorry, it just rubbed me the wrong way. Sometimes he forgets that his partner is easily accessed to him. He doesn't know what it's like to be in love with someone that isn't in your life style."

"Do you?"

"I do." He said. "Obviously, I'm not talking about you."

That made both of us laugh. "I didn't think you were talking about me." I kissed him quick trying to put a smile on his face. "But you can tell me who you were talking about, if you want."

"Before UNITE got really popular I was dating someone. No one knew about it, but she was not an idol. She was sweet and really caring, but we ended it because I joined UNITE and that is the end."

"Do you still care for her?"

"I wish well upon her, but no I fell out of love for her a long time ago. Besides, she is happily with someone else, and I think has a baby coming."

"Well that's good." I replied, not really sure what to say.

"I don't want to revisit that relationship, but I've always wondered what could have happened if we just tried. We didn't try because I had the same mind frame Jimin does now. That it wouldn't work. But a lot of idols are making it work. More than he realizes, and he shouldn't say such things about someone he cares about so deeply. He and Taemin are good friends, he should have faith that they will make it work. It's what I'd want from my friend."

"So you're just worried even more now about his reaction if we do make things official."

"Yeah."

"Well, a lot can change between now and then. Don't be down because of him now."

He smiled. "Well I need just one thing to make me feel better?"

"What's that?"

He leaned forward, bringing his hand up to take hold of the back of my neck. Puling me closer to him, his lips graced my own. He was soft with this kiss, nothing getting to hot or heavy for the moment. His lips to moved back and forth over mine making me break out all over in chills.

When he pulled back he smiled. "Thank you, I needed that."

"You are most welcome."

"What do we do now?"

I guess we just wait for Jin to come home and confirm the announcement?

He nodded and we both got up leaving his room, when we walked out Yoongi was on the couch writing something on a notebook.

"Hey." I waived at him.

"Hello." He replied. "Jin will be here soon, the notification of your arrival was put out just a few minutes ago."

"Oh, that was quick." I said, Hoseok, rubbing my back.

"You ready for this?"

"As ready as I'll ever be." I laughed.

Hoseok and I joined Yoongi, waiting for Jin, Namjoon and Jungkook to arrive. By the time they did, they were joined with 6 body guards helping them in with their bags.

"This is stupid." Jin complained once the door was open. "The announcement went out literally less than an hour ago, and there are people just waiting for all of us to leave this establishment so they can get a pictures of you." He scoffed hanging Yoongi a box.

"Thank you." Yoongi replied, the cute exchange making me smile.

"I'm sorry, Noona. No one expected the reaction to be this huge." Jin said, sighing afterwards. "You're going to have to lay low here for a few days before the tour starts, that way the public can settle a little."

Jungkook scoffed, as he rounded the couch plopping on it. "Settle? Do they ever?"

"Shush." Namjoon said, coming up behind him. "Don't scare her."

"I'm not scared." I said, everything looking at me. I rolled my eyes at how dramatic they were being. "Jimin is my brother, and if that means being in the public eye then so be it. I knew something like this was going to happen before I even got here. Which is why I suggested announcing it. I expected a little hype from it."

"Noona you don't realize what you're saying." Jin said. "This isn't a little hype, this is a lot. No one even knew Jimin had a sister, so you're going to be popular news for quite some time."

"Cool." I shrugged. "It just is what it is."

"I love your positivity." Namjoon smiled. "You're not one of the idols, but being associated with them as heavily as we are, we feel the heat too. Don't worry, you wont be alone."

"I'm not worried." I said, placing my hand on his shoulder. "But good to know when they start chasing me all I have to do is trip your clumsy ass and I'll get away."

That for sure broke the tension of the atmosphere because everyone started to laugh, even Namjoon.

Once that conversation was over, they arranged for a group dinner, and boy was there a lot of food. I forgot how much boys can eat, because after my first helping I was full, I only went back for seconds because everything was so good. Jungkook was an endless pit, and Jin was close behind him.

It was nice to have dinner with them, joking around, laughing, all around having a good time in each other's company.

Hoseok, happened to be sitting next to me, and at one point his hand made it's way to my inner thigh giving me a teasing squeeze, before he rested his hand on his own lap.
