Friday morning

Adriana's pov

I woke up today to the sound of my alarm, I turn it off and head to the bathroom, I take a quick shower, brush my teeth, and change into a green crop top and blue jeans, and wrap my long brown hair into a high ponytail.

I head downstairs and text Kayla to see when she'll be here.

Adriana:8h15: Hey Kay, I am ready to go, text me when you'll be here, see ya later.

Kayla:8:25: Hey Adri, I will be at yours in 10 minutes, we'll get Starbucks on our way.

Adriana:8:27: Okayyy:)

~10 minutes later~

Kayla just called me and said that she's waiting in her car, I take my stuff and head outside.

"Heyy" I say as I jump in the passenger seat.

"Hey Adri" She answers "The drinks are in the back" She continues.

I take the drinks and put them on my lap.

"Thank you Kay, next time I'll pay, deal?" I tell her.

"Deal" She replies with a smile "Do you want to go to the mall after school?"

"Yeah sure, I'll tell my brother once we're at school." I respond.

"I still can't believe that you actually went to apologize to jerk face" She adds.

"Yeah I don't know what was I thinking, he deserved all of the slaps and kicking and humiliations I did to him, I can't believe that he actually thinks that I was going to say his name, his forgiveness is meaningless to me, it's not something precious, so I don't care." I answer honestly.

"Well, he doesn't know the reason why you don't say his name, and why you won't forgive him" She answers.

"Are you taking his side? After all of the bullying and sh*t talking to me, and the knee bleeding, and the bench sleeping, you're taking his side" I am fuming with anger right now.

"Adri, stop, you know that I would never take his side, I was here your whole life, so I know what you have been going through, but he doesn't know why you don't want to forgive him-"

I cut her off "Because he broke my fu**ing heart Kayla, because everyday I woke up happy to see him, just him, and then the next day, he says that he was just using me and that he doesn't give a sh*t of me, and he fu**ing bullied me, that I hated him and I still do, so sorry if it's hard to forgive your bully aka the guy that you liked, the first guy that you fu**ing liked." I yell tears going down my cheeks.

"I'm sorry Adriana, I didn't mean to make you cry" Kayla replies as she parks her car.

"Yeah whatever" I mumble slamming the car's door and wiping away my tears.

"Adriana? What's going on?" I hear someone saying behind me.

Ashton.

"Why are you crying" He adds.

"I am fine leave me alone" Look I am not trying to be mean to anyone, but I just need sometime to myself.

You are probably very confused about what happened in the car so let me go back in time to explain a little bit more.

~flashback~

I woke up today very excited, Jace is coming to my house (Guys this is in the past so it's normal that Adriana calls Jace by his name) he was going to spend the day with Ashton so why not interfere?

I take a shower and change into a blue crop top and a white mini skirt and head downstairs, Jace was already here, in the kitchen.

"Hey Jace" I say shyly.

He doesn't answer.

"Jace are you okay?" I ask coming closer to him.

Before saying anything else, Jace pushes me to the floor and yells "Stay the f**k away from me Adriana"

I knew that he was angry because of something on his phone, but I wanted to comfort him.

"Jace I know that you don't mean that, you can talk to me you know?" I say softly.

"You want me to talk to you? Fine. You are a brat, I don't care about you, you are just my best friend annoying little sister, you don't mean anything to me, so stop acting friendly towards me because I don't give a sh*t about you, I was just using you this whole time, you see these times where we were talking and laughing, it's just because I wanted to get you in bed with me, even if it didn't work, I don't want to anyways, you didn't even have your first kiss yet what a shame" He yells and laughs at me.

Tears were going down my cheeks, I got up fast and went to my bedroom, I hate you jerk face.

~End of flashback~

I can't believe that he was acting nice towards me just because he wanted to f**k me.

This is why I don't call him by his name.

Few days before the incident, we were talking outside, and I was telling him goodnight (with his name) and then he said that he loved the way I say his name, so this is another reason why I stopped calling him by his name, he doesn't deserve anything good coming from me.

Tears were still running down my eyes, I didn't go to my class, I was sitting outside by the bleachers, alone, this is just what I needed alone time.

"Adriana?" And my alone time is officially over thanks to jerk face.

"What do you want?!" I say harshly.

"Why aren't you in class and why are you crying?" He asks. Yeah like he cares.

"That is none of your business jerk face" I say as I stand up to leave but he grabs me by my wrist and turn me to face him.

"Why are you acting like that? I should be the one who is mad I am the one who go kicked and slapped" He adds coldly.

"And you deserved it" I add before releasing my wrist and leaving "Oh and," I say turning to face him "Not everything is about you, I can be crying because of stress, I am aloud to be sad you know?" I say and turn to leave.

"Who fu**ing hurt you?" He yells running to me.

Is this guy serious?? Oh yeah I forgot he doesn't know anything.

"Why do you care?" I say raising an eyebrow.

"I don't-" I cut him off "Okay then I can leave."

"Stop it, I don't care, but your brother does, so tell me what happened" He asks crossing his arm on his chest.

"Stop it, just stop it jerk face, don't use my brother as an excuse, he is not here, so he doesn't know anything, you are making excuses because you care, stop lying" I say rolling my eyes.

Well technically my brother saw me crying but, I told him to leave me alone and he did, so why does this jerk not understand about LEAVE ME ALONE.

"You know I can go tell him, right?" He threatens.

"I don't care, because he doesn't know why I am crying, so he won't be able to do anything." This jerk is not smart at all.

"You are so annoying, you know that?" He asks sarcastically.

I was literally crying 2 minutes ago because of this a**hole, and he is insulting me right now, but I have learned to not care about anything that comes out of his dirty mouth.

"And you are a fu**ing a**hole" I tell him before going to class.

~At lunch~

"Adri!! over here!!" I see Kayla waving at me.

"Heyy" I say sitting on the table.

"Hello" Sophia answers her mouth full of french fries.

"What's new??" I ask her.

"This is the best part of lunch" I heart Kayla saying next to me.

"Apparently Ashton and Amanda are dating!" Sophia whisper- yell.

"WHAT!?" I scream as I bang my fist on the table, causing everyone in the cafeteria to stare at me.

"Hey Adri, it's fine it's probably just a rumor"

Kayla says rubbing her hand on my shoulder

"I won't let my brother date this b**ch, she will f**k him and leave him the next day." I yell standing up and making my way to the 'popular table'.

"SERIOUSLY ASHTON!?" I yell at him.

"What is going on Adri??!" He answers.

"Is it true that you are dating this b**ch?" I ask pointing at Amanda.

"Yeah it is, why?" questions by questions.

"This b**ch is going to get you in bed and leave you the next day, you cannot date her!" I say loudly.

"UH, excuse me?" Amanda says her in pick me tone.

Does she actually find that attractive?

Because it's just awkward and completely disgusting.

"You heard me, stay away from my brother or else-" She cuts me off "Or else what?" She asks standing up and crossing her arms on her fake body.

"If you don't, I'll do the same thing to you as I did to the jerk face yesterday, ask him, it was very painful" I threaten her.

Jerk face gives her a 'don't try her' look.

"No, I am dating your brother, and we are happy." She adds.

"Are you sure?" I ask raising an eyebrow. She nods.

"This is going to end very bad" Jerk face says.

Without saying anything else, I grab Amanda by her shirt kick her, slap her on the cheek and punch her in the nose before I throw her to the ground.

"Escúchame perra, si intentas acercarte a mi hermano una vez más, estás muerta." I tell her in Spanish (Listen to me b**ch, if you try to get close to my brother one more time, you're dead.)

My mom is Spanish and my dad is American, my mom chose my name Adriana and my dad chose Ashton.

"That was hot" I hear jerk face saying next to me.

I forgot that he is Spanish too, his last name is Martinez.

"Yeah, whatever" I tell him, before going to the bathroom, I need to wash off all of the blood on my knuckles.

~After school~

I hope that this afternoon will be better, today it's 'boys night' ugh, does it have to be today at our house, last week it was in our house, whatever, I am not staying there, I will go to a party with Kayla and Sophia.

To Kayla and Sophia: Hey girls! Is there any party tonight?, I really need to loosen up a little.

From Kayla: Yeah girls there is a party wanna go Sophia??

From Sophia: Hey girls, yeah sure.

From Adriana: Okay, come to my house around 6h30 and we can get ready.

From Kayla: Okay see ya.

From Sophia: See yaaa later.
