The same day

When I realize what I have said I tried to apologize but Adriana cut me off "Don't, don't even try to apologize, you see jerk face, that's your problem! You keep apologizing, and still do worse nevertheless! How do you want me to open up to you, if you keep on harassing me to do so! When you're not happy, you lash out on people expecting everything to go your way! And now, it's my fault that I can't move on from a silly mistake!? If you knew what you did you wouldn't even dare to think about saying those words! I made a mistake to even think that I could give you another chance, you are a horrible, brainless, clueless and disgusting guy, I hate you so much that I want to repetitively punch you in the face, If you dare to come near me again, I will kill you with my own fu**ing hands!" She says the last part in a low and dangerous voice before storming out of the car.

I get it! Okay, I really do! I lashed out on her, and called it a 'silly mistake', but can you blame me?! I can't keep going like this! I had to push through Adriana to get some answers, but I clearly hit a nerve instead, a very sensitive one, what I did was big, but THAT big, I wasn't expecting that, I was trying to make Adriana open up, but she's a strong-minded person, I shouldn't have done this, her walls are very up, I could only wonder who she told to other than Ashton, probably Kayla and Sophia.

But that's not the problem! I keep making progress with Adriana only to go back to square one, and every time I make it worse, I really am a brainless person, I'm very impulsive, and I don't think about how my words could affect anyone, I blame that on my mafia side, I shouldn't have mercy on anyone, nor think twice about what I say, but this is different, this is the real world, the normal one, where I do actually show that I have a heart, a heart taken by Adriana, I didn't mean to say those words, I admit it! Yes I thought of them, but, I didn't mean them like this, how is she ever going to forgive me, she made herself clear to stay away from.

I took my phone out and texted Ashton that I wasn't going on their celebration thing, mostly because I don't think that Adriana would want to see me, nor would she want to come anymore.

Adriana's pov

"Ashton I'm not feeling good, I'm going to sleep" I rush the words out of my mouth before sprinting up the stairs to my room, leaving a very confused Ashton standing in the middle of the living room, thinking of life, ha just joking, he's probably wondering 'what happened?'

I placed my phone on my nightstand, before going to the bathroom, I definitely need a relaxing shower.

Oh- wait?!
Kayla and Sophia are still here.

I mentally face palm myself, how could I forget about that?!

Nah, it's alright, I'll explain myself tomorrow, but for now, hot shower it is.

The next day

Tuesday morning

I woke up by the sound of my alarm bursting my ears off, I slammed my hand on it for the fifth time finally turning it off, I would totally understand if the entire neighborhood is awake now, thanks to my alarm.

I groaned as I sat up brushing down the bird nest in my hair with my fingers, hissing from time to time because of how tangled my hair is.

Note for myself- book an appointment at the hair salon.

I got out of bed, and walked to the bathroom to change, do my skincare, makeup, oh and let's not forget, brush my teeth, morning breath.

After spending what feels like years in the bathroom, I headed back to my room and looked at myself through the mirror.

I'm wearing a white long sleeved crop top, with light-blue ripped jeans, let's not forget our white low heel ankle boots, golden earrings and my belly-bag or waist-bag, whatever you want to call it.

I walked down the stairs, and headed to the kitchen.

"Morning" I mutter to Ashton who's sitting on the counter-top munching on his apple.

"Hey" He mumbled back.

"Can we talk?" He adds.

Oh no, I know where this is going.

He sighs and I give in "Okay fine, but can we please do it after school?" I ask and he nods.

Okay I can try to avoid-

"Okay, but don't even think about avoiding it" He continues.

Oh well.

I sigh in defeat and raise my hands up in surrender "Fine, now let's go otherwise we'll be late"

He nods and jumps off of the counter-top before throwing away his half-eaten apple, poor apple.

I shrug the thought of and follow my brother to his car, I decided to ditch on going to school with Kayla today because we all know how she's going to make the car ride an interrogatory to me, about what happened yesterday, I'll tell her at lunch, fortunately, we don't have any common classes till lunch, and it's the first time I'm actually relieved of that.

I lock the front door, and walk towards Ashton's car. Once I'm inside, I make sure to slam his door loudly to get his attention, but he doesn't budge, I literally made the car tremble and he didn't even seem to notice, his attention is absorbed by his phone, at his point, I don't even understand how his eyes didn't pull out of their sockets because of how wide they were open.

I snap my fingers in front of his eyes, finally getting a reaction out of him, he looked at me confused, and then realization hit him, he turned his phone off and now, we're on our way to pick up jerk face, and I definitely forgot about that part, I would rather get interrogated by Kayla than sitting in the same car as him, yuck.

"Did he do something?" Ashton asks out of nowhere.

I thought we postponed our conversation?!

"What are you talking about?" I ask raising an eyebrow.

"Adriana please-" I cut him off "Ashton, we said that we're talking about this after school, so stop" I say harshly before shifting in my seat to look outside the window.

After a good ten minutes, Ashton finally parked his car in jerk face's driveway.

I heard the back door open and close, well I guess he's here now.

"Hey bro" My brother starts the conversation.

"Hey man" He answers as they do the bro-handshake.

After that, the car falls into a very uncomfortable silence if you'd ask me, feels like I have been in this car forever.

Few minutes later

"Thanks for the ride Ash" I thank my brother before jumping out of the car.

I make my way into my high-school, then to my first class of the day, PE.

Isn't that a great way to start the day? Note the sarcasm.

As usual, I'm late, who's surprised? Well I'm not.

I open the gymnasium's doors, making a big movie-worth entrance causing the teacher cut herself off "I'm not gonna bother asking why you're last since you never have a reasonable explanation" The teacher sighs.

"It's nice to see you too" I put on a fake smile before sitting on the gym's bleachers.

Mrs blanks speaks again, but too late, I'm already daydreaming to focus on her blabbering.

Ugh, it just struck me, after PE we have the r&j first rehearsal.

Fortunately I'm not playing Juliette, even if I have to learn her script.

Few running laps and muscle aches later, the bell FINALLY ran off, I can barely walk anymore, she literally made us run the entire hour! All of my body is sore now.

Let's just get to the school's auditorium.
