Michael's Point of View

This might sound weird coming from me. When she smacked me, I could tell that she wasn't playing. She seemed like she was upset when she saw me. I smirked. She gave me a disgusted look. "What are you doing here?"

"I came to see your brother. I'll be over here after school too."She rolled her eyes and walked down the steps. "Whatever."

I grabbed her hand, but she pulled away from me. I gave her a confused look."Why don't you like me?" She gave me a "Do you really not know" look and sighed. "Because of what you did yesterday. You can't just expect me to be okay with it. " I paused because I didn't know what else to say. "Okay look, I don't see why you're still mad. I got in trouble too."

She just chuckled and walked away. "You just don't get it" Before I could say anything, Cory came out the door and walked over to us. "Sup Michael."

"What's up Cory"

Yn rolled her eyes. " It's about time you came out here." Cory smacked his lips. "Man whatever. Come one so we can come to school."She kept walking to school. Cory and I followed behind her. She was so mad.  Anyone could tell by the way she was walking. I have to admit it was kind of sexy. 

Yn's Point of View

For some reason, Michael was trying to be nice to me. Cory and Michael walked in behind me the whole way to school. I really wasn't paying attention to them. Every time I looked back, Michael was looking at me. I shook it off and went to to  my locker. For some reason, someone tapped me on the shoulder. I looked over and I couldn't believe who I saw. Yf (your best friend). I haven't seen her in a long time. I jumped up and gave her a big hug. "I missed you so much girl Yf."

She started jumping up and down. People gave her weird looks when they passed by, but she didn't care. That's what I missed about her. She didn't care how other people felt "I missed you too girl." We began walking to class." Why come I didn't see you yesterday?"

" I had a doctor's appointment."

 "Oh, well how long have you been here?"

 "Since 8th grade. I love it here. How is your family?"

 "Okay I guess, but that's another story. How about yours?"

"They have been good. How is Cory? Is he still annoying?"

Me: "He has grown up a lot since you last saw him. And yes, sometimes he can be annoying."

I low key think that he was listening to our conversation, because he came around the corner with Michael. Yf rolled her eyes and looked at Cory. "Hey Corry."

Cory wanted to play dumb and acted like he didn't know her. "Do I kno- Yf?"

 "Say my name, say my name."

"You have grown up so much."

"So did you. Still got that big head." I tried so hard not to laugh. He does have a big head. 

Michael look at each other and then back at them. They really don't like each other. They were staring each other for a while. I pulled Yf from Corry and dragged her to class.

"See you later Cory."

Michael waved and tried to get my attention. "Bye Yn."  I rolled my eyes and waved bye. He just smirked and continued to walk with Cory.  I looked back and Yf was giving me a weird look.

"What was that for?"

 "Y'all don't like each other."I guess the thought of him made her sick because she looked like she was about to throw up.

"He get's on my nerves." I just laughed and walked to class.

"know, but that's my brother. I remember when he used to make fun of you. "

 "Yeah, but I can fight now. Where do you live?"

"I live down the street from the school."

 "Really, I do too. Well I live in my apartment."

"You live with your mom?"

"Yeah, but you can say that I live alone because my mom is constantly going around the world."

"Well we should have a sleep over some time soon."

"What about this weekend?"

"That's a really good idea. I'll talk to my mom. In the mean time, let's go to class."

Michael's Point of View

When we came in the class, My friends Larry and Dylan were waiting for me in the back. When I got there shook up with them. 

" What's up y'all."

Dylan punched Larry in the arm. "Hey man, we've been waiting you man. Where have you been?" I looked back to see if Cory was behind me."I was talking to Cory."Larry smirked at me after I said that. I l knew what he was about to ask."Isn't his sister Yn?" 

"Yeah, why?" Dylan smirked at Larry and then looked at me. "Don't you like her?" I tried to play it off. "No, she just walked with me and Cory."They both gave me a weird look. "Was she mad?" Larry said while taking his easy

He can not be serious. "No, we started over. Of course she was mad!"

 "You must really like her! The Michael I know wouldn't have came close to her.."

Although I know the truth, I tried to brush it off. "I'll have to admit, she's different from anyone else but I don't like her."

She walked in the class and I couldn't help but smile. She is so beautiful. When I turned to the right. I saw Larry and Dylan snickering. This is going to be a long year.

After School...

Cory, Yn, Yf, and I decided to walk home together. Yf and Cory mean mugged each other the whole time. Yn and I watched as the gave each other dirty looks. Yn tried to spark up a conversation.

"So Yf, I can't wait for you to come over this weekend." I looked at Cory and I could tell he was upset.

"Who said she could come over? Besides, Michael is coming over and I'm not changing this weekend, so you can't hang out with her!" Yf and I looked at each other. This isn't going to be good. They both stopped in the middle of the sidewalk. I looked over at Yn, to see her reaction.

"I don't know who you are yelling at! I planned for her to come and mom knows. Why can't you go over his house or something, because I'm not changing my plans.

Cory sighed and began rubbing his head. "I guess we are all going to be at our house tonight."

"I guess so. Come on Yf, we going to my house." Yn said while walking away.

I shook my head and lightly chuckled."What are we going to do now?"

"You can come over my house. Before we go there we should go to the store"

"Alright"

This weekend is going to be crazy.

Yn's Point of View

Yf and I were walking down the street, when we saw a beautiful woman watering her flowers. She smiled and motion us to come and talked to her. I was hesitant at first, but Yf dragged me with her. We walked up to the lady's fence.

"Well hello young ladies. My name is Katherine Jackson, I was wondering if you two were new to the neighborhood." She said while holding my hand out.

I shook her hand and gave her and warm smile. "My name is Yn Yln. I am new here, but my friend over here isn't."

"My name is Yf Yfln. I live in the apartments down here." Yf said while shaking her hand.

"Well it's nice to meet you two beautiful young ladies. Do you know someone who could babysit? I have a nine year old daughter, and I need someone to look after her." That's when I realized that was my opportunity.

" Well Mrs. Jackson, I can take care of her. I would just need to know when you need me help."

Her face lit up, "Oh that would be great. I will let you know when. I'm going to be working a little later than usual. I would ask her older siblings, but they are always busy with school. Would you be willing to start tomorrow?"

"I would love to." I wrote my number down and gave it to her. "Let me know what time you need me. I'm always available."

"Alright thanks. And if you want to bring your friend you can."

Yf smiled really big. "Thanks, See you later."

"Alright bye." Mrs. Jackson said while going back to water her plants. Yf and I ran to my house. This day couldn't get better.

While Yf and I were studying, we heard Cory and Michael coming in the house laughing and talking. Cory frightened us by screaming to the top of his lungs. Yf and I rushed down the stair only to find Cory on the floor laughing and Michael holding pizza and laughing.

"Why did you yell!" Yf said with frustration.

"Because I can, now y'all come on and eat. Momma said she won't be back until later." Cory said while getting up. 

Yf and I walked in the kitchen and washed our hands. When we turned around, we saw Michael and Cory eating. We grabbed some plates and got our food. I was so excited about my new job, I tried to tell Cory.

"I got a job today." I said while sitting down.

Cory began drinking his pop. "Where and when?"

Before I could say something, Yf spoke. "Well we were walking and a lady asked us if we knew someone who could help take care of her daughter."

While Yf was talking, I felt Michael staring at me. When I looked at him, he looked away and kept eating.

Cory rolled his eyes and looked at Yf"I was talking to Yn. Yn, what's the lady's name."

I scrunched up my face, trying to remember her name."I believe her name is Katherine, Katherine Jackson."

Michael began choking on his  pop. Cory patted his back. "Bro, are you okay?"

Michael looked at me with rage. "That's my mother!"

Oh no, I guess I spoke too soon.
