Alyssa's PoV:

"Heellllooo" that high-pitched voice said, the sound echoed around all the dinner...here she was, Regina Adams.

"Get ready" Nate whispered in my ear.

"Hey guys, it's been so long! How are you?" Regina said sitting down in front of me next to Amy and at the end bear the window was Selena.

"The cokes my loves" Verta said quickly placing the Coca-Cola on our table and walking to the table at the end of the guys

"Good"

"Alright"

"I love your top"

"Hm"

Those were the responses she received but as if my friends didn't exist she just kept looking at me like I had TROPHY written on my face. "great" I said as I closed my lips in a line analyzing her expressions

"I missed you so much you were always like a young sister to me" She smiled happily

"Yeah... well those years apart made us quite distant" I mentioned, which was a clear lie because she never paid attention to me. She pulled off the perfect girl at school being my friend and having this sister talk but at my house she was— completely numb to me, she didn't say a word, I don't think she even saw me or she did and she was great at pretending not to!

Family dinners were the worse with her she was like this embodiment of perfectness, but at my Grandma's anniversary she did something way extreme...like she does always, the sad thing for her is that she didn't know my grandma and she doesn't buy shit like that... well like her, I dare to say. My grandma saw by far who she was.

"So true! You just keep on getting beautiful don't you?"

"It's the good genes I guess"

"Really good genes" Nate mentioned looking at the table on the back

"Thanks" I smiled

"Here they are!" Berta came up with our burgers in a huge red plate. She distributed them and she noticed a burger was missing.

"Oh my for a minute I though I got it wrong" Berta said as she counted the burgers on the table "You arrived later didn't you?"

Regina looked up at her with a sweet smile and Berta's mind light up.

"Miss Adams! I haven't seen this face in a while"

"I am back!" she sort of sang

"Well that's wonderful news. Can I bring something for you"

"Oh just a salad with a lot sesame seeds and a water please with ice!" Regina smiled as Berta writer all on her notebook

"Very well 5 minutes please" Berta took her order and left our table

"So you guys look awesome" Regina let out looking finally at my friends

"So what are the news? Any big thing happened while I was gone?" she asked curiously.

Well besides of that scandal of me and my boyfriend I don't think much happened. I though to myself, and as if she read minds —

"Oh right my girls told me about your drama" she said looking at me with a pity face " what a douche"

"Yeah..."

"Besides that was there anything else?" she questioned really curious, I wondered what is this curious about and why does it seem to scream Aiden's name.

"Hmm no I don't think so" I said shrugging my shoulders and looking at my friends for help

"Everything is pretty much the same" Amy responded

"Really? Even with the popular guys? How has been your brother's group?" I smiled internally I knew the conversation would end here. Why was she so desperate to know about him? She was the one who cheated on him...

Now that I think about it... is this a family thing? Me and my brother got cheated on, one after the other? Is this some sort of destiny thing

"They are popular like always" Selena pointed out

"Didnt they had any girls in the group again?" and by that she meant girlfriends

"Unexpectedly no... just flings like always" I commented

"It's great to know that no one can top me" Regina said giving a weird mean smile "So has your brother being miserable after I left like I was told to?"

"Pretty —" much that was I was looking forward to say but Nate elbow interrupted me

"Pretty wrong!" he mentioned making Regina's head tilt, oh wow this is new.

"What do you mean??"

"He was miserable for like what? 2 weeks?" Nate said and we instantly caught his idea

"Not even 2 weeks I believe" Selena mentioned

"A week and a half " Amy said confidently, so that's how we playing? We are making my brother the exact opposite, he sure was with some girls a lots of them but he would also cry after every party about Regina like a damn lost puppy.

"Really?" she asked but not in a mischievous tone in a more of a hurt tone I would say.

"He has been with like hudrends of girls after it" Nate mentioned while sipping his coke, I bet he was having so much fun

"Hm... well that can also mean how bad he missed me" she quickly recovered with her stupid maybe not that stupid ideology since that was what he really was doing. "I still have him like the first day" she told herself

I looked at her mischievous face, she definitely looked like a villain taking out of a Disney storytale.

"The thing about your brother is that he was always easy... like really easy. Don't be like that it takes all the fun" Regina sort of advised me I think

"Yeah well he was before" Emily said unexpectedly making the whole table look at her in shock. What was she doing? "He was very easy before, but he is changed now. Very much in fact, he is impossible to get since..."

"Since what?" Regina smiled maybe understanding how that Emily was lying

"Since his girlfriend" Nate said with opened eyes making us frown our eyebrows but this wasn't a moment for amateurs we needed to improvise and that implied following along for how absurd this sounded.

"We really didn't want to tell you that since you've had a relationship with him" I mentioned as her dumbfounded face mixed with shock and horror started to be one of my favourites things to see

"And why doesn't anyone knows about it?"

"Just close friends know after what my brother went through—"

"His girlfriend also has problems with her family. She thinks they wont accept him that well"

"How can they not accept him?" Regina questioned

"They are very religious and Aiden is not that connected to religion"Emily saved us

"Wait a minute! Aiden is dating?"

"Yup! In his own words is favorite thing is sex and going on dates. The definition of dating" I said recalling my brother's shameless words

Regina threw off a weird laugh making us a bit scared "Who is she? Does she go to our school?" She questioned us.

I feel like I am at an interrogatory.

"I don't think he would consent that or she" Selena said with a smile making Regina even more angry

"This is impossible. Aiden was crazy for me, he would do anything for me, he was like a lost puppy, he was obsessed with and now he dates? Another girl?" Regina asked herself out loud... well she wasn't wrong my brother really was all of those

"He is not like that anymore " Emily spoke. What is going on today with this girl did she eat all of the invent a Lie cookie?  What is going on?

"Really?" Regina questioned interested looking fiercely at Emily

"Yes. Aiden is not crazy or obsessed, he is in love" Emily said confidently. I know we were doing these for jealousy porpoises but all lies have limits, like my brother in love. I wish I could laugh right now.

"It's just sad that they can't go around town that freely" Nate covered up

"So things changed after all" Regina said butting her lip in rage

"Yeah but not that much since no one knows about it" I said and somehow I felt like she really had taken the bite. My brother was now forbidden and everything that's forbidden... it's desired.

"The salad!" Betta shouted as she approached our table placing down the salad and then the water "The water with ice! Bon Appetit kids!"  she placed the tray under her arm pit and left us again.

"I don't understand he looked so desperate to talk to me"

"He was probably trying to apologize for overreacting last time you had a talk" I mentioned recalling that day "Just that"

"So I am not sure longer his wish?"

"He already has it!" Nate told her

As she kept questioning about my brother and as my friends invented lies in a way they were all fitting like Lego pieces I got distracted and looked at their table. They were all happily talking sometimes my brother would check on us to see Regina but nothing much.

Then I catches his eyes, he was laying back in the wall. His back were supported by the wall while instead of being comfortably and correctly sat down at the sof tchairs of the dinner. He wasnl resting his head on his hand and as he caught my eyes a sly smirk appeared to his face alongside a small wave so the others couldn't see.

I rolled my eyes and his cheekiness and got back to the reality of this table.

"Maybe I should talk to him" Regina told us and I saw a few of them nodding and agreeing

"Sure...I can arrange something" I mentioned

"Really? I should apologize to him! Is good knowing he recovered"

"Sure I will talk to him"

"Oh isn't that him?" Nate pointed at the table in the end making Regina's neck snap and watching the guys talk and laugh. Thank god he did not look at her, he needs to put on that posture of not being interested by her.

"Can you talk to him?" she asked me desperately while holding my hand, well it almost looked like she was begging me

"Sure if you really want to"

"I do I do please" she begged again, I nodded slightly and got up walking towards their table, and as I got in I noticed Mason's smirk grow as I got closer. I just want to kill him.

But you know what they say never let your inner thoughts win.

"Look who it is..." my brother welcomed me once I got there

"So she is very interested in you" I told him and his smile grew instantly, he slid his hair back and wet his lips while looking at the boys waiting for his approval

"You good!" Jaden exclaimed with a thumbs up while my brother nodded and got ready to get up but he was pushed down to his seat as I pulled him down by his right shoulder

"What?" he questioned with a pout "Don't I look good"

"Ok listen to me carefully! We did more than you could ever think of" I mentioned

"Really? That's sweet of you guys"

"I don't think its a good thing" Mason explained, wow look the only one in this group that has more than one neuron

"What do you mean??" Aiden asked while looking at Mason and then me

"She wants you I think, but only because we told her you were inaccessible."

"What do you mean, Aly?" My brother questioned now realizing a bit of out lie

"She said she was done with you because you were so easy, so we made you not easy... like difficult really difficult"

"Thats good right?"

"Yeah it depends of your perspective. Yes, its good you have a high change she is now interested. No, its not good you have a fake relationship" I explained, the others started to chuckle while Aiden just kept his mouth opened looking at me

"Look at the fly... shut your mouth bro" Cameron mentioned taking his jaw up

"What did you do?"

"I made you interesting! She know want to talk about you probably about the non existent girl you fell in love with" I said with a cute smile hoping my brother wouldn't kill me
