Emily's PoV:

"So that's all that happened? An almost kiss?" Nate commented shocked

"Do you want to be a virgin your whole life?"Amy accused Alyssa. Alyssa just told us about her tutoring lesson with Chase that, unfortunately, for my friends, it didn't turn out in anything.

In my opinion, I am quite thanking the gods above for nothing happening. I love Alyssa more than anything we have been friends since elementary school and I love her like she's my other half, I wish her happiness above all and for some reason, I am not that sure about Chase.

Last year was the worst year of Alyssa's life, I had never seen her like that. Not only did she get her heart broken by a cheater, but the whole drama mixed up her mind and values. She totally lost her self-confidence and the strength she had in her.

She was a bold girl, she would protect and be impulsive and she would get mad at you if needed if she saw that was the best option for you to stick with... but since that happened she changed drastically maybe the rest of the group doesn't see it that much but I do every day.

I hate the way she questions herself for everything, clothes, shoes, makeup, thoughts, and actions. She lost her shine of boldness of secureness, she doesn't trust herself anymore but I hope she still loves herself a lot, so much that she has to prioritize her life and her well-being above all. She needs to be happy and she deserves it. Just like love.

However, since this summer she's been acting weird, this sudden run for Chase although she wasn't the one that initiated it, I feel like she is running to have a boyfriend, to have someone despite her fear, it's like she's escaping something. I tried to ask her about the summer, if something happened but she was very monotonous about it. That's what scares me the most, is she lying or am I imagining things?

Chase didn't surprise me yet and I am far for approving him, she isn't herself, totally herself with him, it's missing that part that she long lost. So I keep on questioning myself why is she so invested in Chase, does she actually like him or is there something more that I am not getting at all?

"I am not a virgin" Alyssa responded annoyed

"By the time you will get back to being one" Nate explained making Amy gasp

"OMG, can we go back to virgins?" Amy questioned scared

"No, sweetie" Selena comforted her while side-hugging her

"What I mean is that you need to take some action" Nate mentioned while wiggling his eyebrows "He's clearly totally into you so make sure to tell him that you are into him"

"I am taking things slow for now, I don't know him that much" Alyssa said making me nod in agreement

"You talk to him for like 2 and a half months is that enough?" Amy questioned "For me it would"

"Well you are not a good example" Nate pointed out " Chase is not permanent he can bail out any moment. Don't take him for granted"

"I am not, I just think I need to know him better. When he kissed me at the party it was all so quick and it didn't felt that right"

"It will be hard to get you a boyfriend if you keep like this" AMy mentioned

"Look guys!"I exclaimed taking everyone's attention to me "Just let her do what she wants, she's old enough to make choices and to find herself a boyfriend, right?" I looked at her and saw her little smile creeping out making me smile back

"Yeah"

"So let's just be spectators of this. If Chase really likes her he will go at her pace, and if she doesn't like Chase she will find someone when she's ready"

"Yeah, whatever" They mumbled getting back to their lunches and I caught Alyssa's thanks from the other side of the table. At least she is going at her pace, although I still think she is going faster but this is a positive thing, she is letting herself enjoy her pace and not his. Doing things her way.

We started talking about other matters mainly where would our Christmas vacation's be. We are a very tight group which is normally rare, at least that's what everyone says, but I guess we just really enjoy ourselves we are like a match made in heaven for friends. Our pleasing conversation reached an end when the most gorgeous and handsome boy I have ever seen in my life appeared to interfere with our talk.

"Sis! I need your help" he murmured at her however all of us could hear it. We were outside, on the balcony of our cafeteria, all at a table and although there weren't a lot of people around all of us at the table could hear him properly. "Hey guys" he then remembered

"Hi" they said in unison while not even a single syllable could get out of my mouth.

"What can you possibly what now, Aiden?"

"I need help with Regina"

"I am not helping you with her!" My best friend said and I just thanked her mentally. This obsession she had with Regina Adams was so unhealthy, Aiden was like a nice autumn breeze and Regina was an intolerable hot summer day. I just hope neither Aphrodite nor Eros helps those two get back together, she hurts him.

"Please... I may have something you want"

"You? something I want? In 17 years of life I had never experience that"

"Yes you did don't be a liar"

"Whatever, what's your offer if I help?"

"I heard you guys are looking for somewhere to spend your Christmas vacation" he said making everyone suddenly interested and leaning on the table to hear him clearly

"Hm... talk"

"So...Mason is renting a super large villa for us do you want to join in? No income" He said making everyone gasp and nod a yes at Alyssa, she was feeling pressured I could feel and I can't blame how can you not feel the pressure of 3 birdies crazy to have a Christa's vacation with no spending. I looked at him appreciating his side profile and just thinking about sharing a house with him made my cheeks turn pink. Oh god that's too much for me.

"What's the catch?" she asked, I loved that her boldness was still intact around her brother.

"No catch sis. You will have 2 bedrooms to share, beds for everyone, and best part a nice warm pool outside."

"Hm... What do you want me to do?" She asked curiously

"Just mark a date with her something at Joe's Burger's or at Fish O' Fries and tell me where it is"

"And then...?"

"You will have your date and you will ask about me, when the talk is done give me a sign and we will change places"

"Aren't you going to look like a psycho"

"No I will not believe... just find a place and tell me"

"ok"

"do we have a deal?" he asked happily showing his perfect teeth that simple smile made me smile. She looked at us with a soft smirk while everyone was giving her a thumbs up and excitement jumps

"Deal" She smiled, and they did their handshake that was similar to putting on a stamp, their relationship was always very based on deals and promises so they created their handshakes as a sign of 'I will do my part, like agreed'.

"That's my cue then see you later"

"Wait! Do you want this for today?" She asked a bit worried

"Yeah we have a free afternoon" he said walking away back to his friends

"Hm... I am doomed" She said as a hint of realization crossed to her however her face was not that worried

"We will help you!" Amy said quickly

"Right!" Selena agreed

"We know she wants to talk to you and have some girly time or whatever the hell that was. We can convince her anytime. It can't be that hard" Nate mentioned making the rest of the table nodded

"So what do I like... text her?" she asked unsure

"A text is nice yeah" Selena mentioned

"Saying what?"

"Hello do you want some lunch?" Selena said making everyone look at her with weird faces  "what? Is easy, simple and goes straight to business. Just how I like it"

"Just say hi, and say something about the hangout she wanted" Nate mentioned helping out Alyssa

"Ok fine" she said while taking her phone out and starting to text

"I can't believe we have a vacation house! We were all going insane!" Selena said excited

"Oh she saw it!" Alyssa said scaring us while her phone jumped into the table allowing us all to see the text

"Ok that's good!" Amy exclaimed clapping her hands

"Oh she is writing" I warned

"She answered!" Selena pointed out

"We got a date!" Alyssa said victoriously, although everyone else was happy I couldn't share that happiness with them unfortunately Regina wasn't one of my favourite people. I have a policy where I promised myself to never hate someone in my life, it does wrinkles and its bad for you, your spirit and state of mind however Regina seems to be the one person who is almost crossing the line and all because of my stupid crush over my best friend brother.

I never really told her that I do have the biggest crush on him, well it isn't just a crush I really like him. I know him since I was 6, and to m, he always looked like a hero, when I looked at him it was like rays of sun were coming out of him.

I define him as the sun and I am just a regular ice cream that whenever it's too close of him, melts. My face warms, bringing a shade of pink into my cheeks and my heart pounds like crazy, as to me, I melt, his smile makes my day and although he barely knows who I am, I live quite well watching him from up close, through his sister.

I didn't told Alyssa because I know who sick and tired she is of hearing about her brother and his friends. She knows that I think he is hot but nothing more she doesn't really know that the name I placed on the Love Tester game was Aiden.

It's just a silly crush that I can never really reach and make it true but I am good dreaming about it.

While I was rambling on and talking about little girls dreams we made too the dinner. Joe's Burger's. It was a classic around the town, it was usually filled with teens from the school. It was a typical hangout I would say. It shines positive energy.

"I know it wasn't planned but now I feel like eating a burger" Selena mentioned

"I know the smell is driving me crazy" Amy said jumping excitedly as we walked

"Hey there kids!"

"Berta!!!" we all exclaimed in unison once we saw the lady with white hair and a pink apron on

"Oh it's you!" she said we coming us to the dinner "sit at your table kiddos! I haven't seen you kids in a while, is school taking care of you?" She joked as we sat down at our usual table

"It's been exams weeks" Alyssa explained

"Don't work too hard, have some fun too" Berta mentioned "so shall I bring your usual?" she asked

"Yes please"

"Double onions pleaseee" Selena chanted

"Yes dear I know!"

"All cokes?"

"Yes" we chanted in union as Berta went inside

"So when is she arriving?" Nate asked

"Dunno" Alyssa commented as she looked through the menu

"Oh look they brought the traditional fries back!" Nate commented looking at the menu Alyssa held in her hands. As we talking and looking at the new menu, Amy squealed in joy.  Me, Alyssa and Nate got scared but as we looked at Selena's expression we understood what was happening.

They must be here. I thought to myself and as that thought occurred, the three of us could finally see them walking to the table in the end and sitting down while throwing jokes and talking.

I was near the window and sat at the perfect place where I could see Aiden's right side profile.

"Please someone changeeee!" Amy begged the three of us so she could have a better vision at the boys.

"No way!" Nate exclaimed while his head roamed around trying to get the perfect angle to see the boys

"Heellllooo" as the annoying high-pitched voice banged around all the dinner we knew exactly who it was. Regina Adams was here.
