"Hey Violet!!" My two best friends yelled out from across the hall.

How rude. Interrupting my hilarious joke like that. How would you like it if I interrupted your genius thoughts??

"Hey Isaac. Hey Skylar. What're you guys yelling for? I wasn't that far from you."

"Well I tried to call out your name but you seemed too focused on your own thoughts to acknowledge the outside world" Isaac stated as I felt a small smile form on my face just remembering that awesome joke.

"OH THAT REMINDS ME!! I have an awesomely hilarious joke to tell you guys!! What was Forrest Gump's Password?"

"You and your jokes" Skylar stated while Isaac said "what?"

"1Forrest1" I said and started laughing at my awesome joke.

"That wasn't even funny" he said as I could tell he was trying to constrict his laugh.

"Then why are you trying not to laugh when you really want to?? I can see right through your frown dude" and then he started laughing really loud.

"I don't get it" Skylar said with a confused look and Isaac and I just stared at her.

"Like run Forrest run but with 1" Isaac told her "ohhhhhhh okay haha".

"Anyways. Isaac. Skylar. Did you guys need something? I was getting ready to walk home with Daniel but he's taking his sweet own time getting over here. Hold on I need to text him to get here bc I'm getting impatient".

"Anyways, Skylar and I were wondering if we could come over to your house and the 4 of us could hang out?"

"Sure Isaac, but the 4 of us?"

"Yeah. You know, you, Skylar, Daniel, and me".

"Of course you guys can come over. I'll make up for the fun that she won't provide because she's pretty boring if you ask me" Daniel says showing up out of nowhere, wrapping his arms around the two of of us.

"Shut up Daniel. Let's go guys" I say as we start to walk out of the school.

We're walking up to the house when we see people moving into the house next door and there is a guy that looks around my age unloading. I'm going to be completely honest and state the fact that he is HOT like hubba bubba. I decide to go get the mail (for reasons you can assume) while they go on inside. As I'm getting the mail, I can't help but notice his brown, wavy hair, his cute little smile as I can see him talking to someone, his muscular arms, h-

"Violet! Stop drooling over the new guy and just get the mail and get in here!!" My brother yells at me from the front door. I look over and notice the new guy looking at me with a confused but amused look on his face. Great. Daniel embarrassed me in front of him. Now he's going to think I'm a weirdo and won't ever talk to me. Ughhhhh.

As I walk in and close the door, I see them all staring at me but Skylar with a big smile on her face.

"What are smiling at?"

"You like him!!" She says in a sing song voice.

"What? I do not. He's quite attractive yes, but I do not like him. I don't even know him to be capable of liking him".

"Whatever you say" she says with disbelief in her voice.

"So what do you guys want to do?"

"How about we watch a movie" my brother suggests.

"Okay, what movie?" Isaac asks

"How about The Fault in Our Stars?" I suggest because I love love LOVE that movie.

"NOT AGAIN NO" Daniel starts saying "YOU WATCH THAT MOVIE TOO MUCH PLEASE SPARE ME THE PAIN OF HAVING TO WATCH IT AGAIN".

"I'd like to watch it" Isaac and Skylar say at the same time.

"Damn it" Daniel says while I just smirk at him, satisfied I won.

Hi!! Wow it's been awhile since I last added to the story. Over the past couple months, I have been editing and changing some things like the names of the characters and I've also been writing chapter 2 the entire time so don't think I just forgot about it because I haven't. I've just been trying to make it sound okay and not crappy which I hope it doesn't.

It's fairly short but I thought I should go ahead and update before everyone thinks I just completely stopped and left it for good.

So here's chapter 2 but the first chapter in present day!! I really hope you guys like it because I've been working hard on it!!
