Chapter 11-Fight
Alec P.O.V:
"Eric, wait!" I yell after him. He stops, and he has a grin on his face. There was something with his grin, that made me suspicious.
"You can't tell anyone." I warn. He nods, and looks away.
"Eric, please. I-"
"I won't don't worry!" He says, getting annoyed.
"Good, because you know... we don't want that embarrassing story of you in the pool to get out, do we? What happened again? Oh, yeah! You were talking to your crush, Sapphire, and you fell in the pool, bringing her with you!" I say, laughing. He hits me on the shoulders, and a red coat of colour was forming on his face. Haha! See how he likes it!
"Hey! We don't want that story, when we were on a school camp and you dived in the pool and crashed into Dennis. That was funny! I actually think my dad has a video of it..." he says. I laugh, and look at him and see he wasn't.
"Does he actually have a DVD?" I ask. Eric laughs, and nods. I cover my face with my hands, and cringe in embarrassment.
We went like that for at least half an hour, talking about funny childhood moment I probably would of forgotten about, if he hadn't mentioned them.
Until Alyssa came in saying Stan had a meeting he needed us to attend. Stan's meetings were usually about our health, or about what we need to be doing with our lives. But as soon as we entered the meeting room, the whole room went silent.
Hayley wasn't there, so obviously she must be somewhere else.
"Take a seat." Says Stan. He gestures towards a line of chairs, and Alyssa, Eric and I sit down.
"Right. So, we have a party we need to attend. It is between the Jacklynd Pack, and ourselves. We need to be on our best behavior, and we are catering." Everyone lets out a moan. I wasn't that bad when it came to this sort of stuff, but if it was between- Wait! That's Noah's pack. No way. Hayley can't be here. She wouldn't last with us, and she wouldn't have anywhere to go.

"Eric. She'll hate me!" I say. He was trying to convince me to just let her go to my apartment. One, it wasn't tidy, and two, she'll probably not like it.
"Well, it's either a dead mate by the end of the night, or an alive one that hates you. Your choice?" He says. I nod, and look at Hayley. She was sitting on the tree swing outside, distracted by all her thoughts. There was something about her subdued smile, that made me sad. What if she hates it here?
"Fine." I say, rolling my eyes, and heading towards Hayley. As soon as I step towards her, she looks towards me.
"Hey." She says, a smile appearing on her face.
"Hey, Hayley." I say, grabbing the rope that was holding the seat of the swing.
"You okay?" She asks. I nod, and look at her hands. That was the only thing that wouldn't get me distracted.
"Look, you see... we're kind of having a party, and I don't think you'll like it, so do you think you could maybe... just go to my apartment? Just to stay until the party finishes. Then you can come back here, and sleep here." He says. She hopped of the swing, and looks me in the eyes.
"Why can't I go? I know basically everyone here, and-"
"You just can't. I'm sorry." She looks down at the ground, and frowns.
"I didn't want to go anyway." She mutters before walking past me. Her scent hit me like a bullet to a gun. It was bad, because it should of been like it is with everyone else, I walk past them, and can't smell anything. But no. It doesn't work that way.
"Hayley, wait-" and that's when she just explodes.
"No! I am absolutely sick of waiting for people! I should of never trusted you! I should of never even came here! You know what? I should of never even excepted that sandwich from you!" She yells, walking further and further away. Now it actually felt like I had been shot. Like my heart had been ripple out.
"Just go away, and leave me alone!" She yells, going down the gravel road to our house.
"Hayley-" I start, but she wouldn't of been able to hear me.
I facepalm my forehead in anger. I thought I had finally figured out my life, but then stuff like this happens. I find a mate that gets angry at me for trying to protect her. I have a stupid party to attend too. And Eric has officially reminded me of embarrassing things I wanted to forget about. Great. Just great.

What did you think? Will fate get them together! Who knows... anyway, have a great day/night!
Lots of Love,
Lily.
