Chapter Three:

Victor laughed at how red Max's face was. They were on their date. "Oh come on, you look adorable." Victor mused.

Max growled lowly. "I-I am not cute, stupid!" He complained. His sister found out he had a date, so being the genius she was, she decided to dress Max up.

Max was currently wearing black form-fitting pleather pants. They're called pleather, right? Anyways. A black tank top and a red cardigan over top. The finishing touch would be the crossbones hair clip that pushed the left side of his bangs out of his face.

Victor smiled at Max. It was totally obvious the boy was cute. "I didn't say cute, I said adorable. Feeling cocky, eh~?"

Max flushed red. "I-I didn't- I mean- I just!" He stammered before shouting, "Whatever, stupid!!" He felt his heart hammer in his chest.

"Hehe~ Well I think you're both cute and adorable so it is all good." Victor smirked. "Let's go to a café." He gently took Max's smaller hand in his before leading him to a small, but homely, café.

Max blushed at Victor holding his hand. He slowly intertwined their fingers, and when Victor looked at him with a smug expression, Max simply said, "M-My hand was going numb. I-It's not like I WANT to hold your hand or anything...."

"Right." Victor chuckled and gave a small squeeze.

Soon they walked into the coffee smelling shoppe and walked over to an empty table by the window. Victor finally let Max's hand go and Max felt his stomach drop in disappointment before shaking his head in embarrassment.

A teenager waitress, most likely a senior with the way she made goo-goo eyes at Victor, bounded up to their table. "Hey Vic! What can I get ya?" She asked, totally ignoring Max.

Victor noticed this and smiled politely. "Well I would like a caramel frappé and a slice of chocolate cake, I shall leave my DATE to order what he wants." He winked at Max.

The waitress's face drooped a bit but forced herself to have a smile. She turned to Max and inhaled a sharp breath, "what about you?"

Max stammered for a second before feeling Victor hold his hand under the table. He cleared his throat. "A, uh, ginger rose tea and a slice of raspberry cheesecake.... Thanks."

She nodded and gave another quick glance to Victor before strutting off to gather their orders.

"I didn't need you to hold my hand, jerk..." Max mumbled, still not making an effort to move his hand.

Victor laughed. "Is that why you aren't moving your hand?" He asked teasingly.

Max blinked before opening his mouth to retort, but no words came out. So instead he said, "Stupid jerk dummy!"

Victor grinned and just like the sarcastic asshole he was, he dramatically placed a kiss onto Max's hand.

Max blushed a bright red and his cold expression melted into one of vulnerability.

Victor's heart stopped for a moment. Max looked undeniably beautiful. He smiled softly before calmly running his thumb over Max's soft hand as Max shyly looked away.

The moment was ruined though when the waitress came back and cleared her throat. Max pulled his hand away quickly, "Wh-What do you think you're doing, s-stupid?!" He stammered.

The waitress settled the plates and cups onto the table calmly and left without another word.

Victor smirked. "Awe, the moment was ruined when she came by." He complained childishly.

Max gulped and looked down at his plate before carefully sipping his drink so to not spill it all over himself.

The rest of the date went pretty smoothly and soon it was time for them to depart.

Victor walked Max to his house and smiled at the blushing boy. "I had a great time." He said.

Max shifted back and forth before shyly leaning over and placed a soft kiss to Victor's cheek. He pulled away with a forced pout. "I didn't k-kiss you because I-I like you.... So... Just.... B-Bye..!" He quickly entered his home and shut the door.

Victor stared at the door with a dazzling smile.
