Have You Seen a Tall White-Haired Dude?
Reo was currently in the middle of a class, staring out the window in boredom. He already knew the topic of today's class, so he could absent his mind for a bit.
A white pigeon flew away from a tree by the window, making Reo softly sigh right after. He spent the whole week trying to grasp the other guy since that day, but he didn't even know his name to begin with. Even if he asked people if they knew a white-haired dude, no one had a positive answer for that, which was frustrating.
Did he disappear out of thin hair or something? Was that guy just a mirage? This person had Reo curious for the first time in forever, so he would do anything to be able to find him again. It doesn't matter what it takes and how much time it takes.
Shortly after class ended. Reo ignored some classmates who wanted to hang out with him during break. Instead, he started walking around school in hopes he could find the taller boy again.
"Have you seen a tall white-haired dude?" was one of the most asked questions. He simply wouldn't give up until he found him.
As usual, all of the answers were unfortunately negative, making his shoulders sink and a tired sigh leave his mouth. Reo felt like he asked the whole school by now. How could people not know a white-haired person... it's not like there are a lot of young people with white hair studying at this school to begin with.
He paused in his tracks once he heard the school bell ringing, indicating that he should now return to his classroom. Sadly.
Reo didn't even eat, but it's not like he was hungry at the moment. For him, it was more important to find this mysterious guy first.
As he walked through the corridors, he glanced outside the window– something he does a lot as you can see. It was sunny, but it was not a joke to say that his eyes grew a lot bigger once he spotted a white-haired person in the prohibited zone.
For the first time ever, Reo totally ignored his student duty to arrive at the classroom and sprinted to the opposite side, hoping that the other guy didn't leave by the time he arrived.
He abruptly opened the door, grabbing it right after in order to not make a lot of noise. Classes started a few minutes ago, and the school was quiet once again, in the end.
After stopping his panting and calming himself down, Reo looked around and hoped he was right about seeing the other here. It would be too sad to be just something from his imagination.
It did not take much to find the other sat under a shadow– presuming that the sun was too hot today for him– with folded arms and a soft sleeping expression.
Reo could finally breathe again.
He decided to get closer, deciding to sit beside him a few centimeters away so he didn't startle the guy.
"You were a pain to find, don't you know?" the second year blurted out, deciding to rest his back on the wall and fold his arms as well. "Don't make me go after you for a whole week without even knowing your name ever again, alright?"
As Reo was finally able to relax after all this time, he couldn't help but let the tiredness get the best of him, making him fall asleep on the spot.
Suddenly, the white-haired opened his eyes, observing the other for a moment. He was surprised to know it took the other a week to find him, even more the fact he decided to waste his time in finding someone he didn't even know at all.
Something within him made him grab a pencil and a piece of paper, writing something. Then, he carefully placed it inside of the purple haired's school uniform pocket, making sure it wouldn't fly away with the breeze.
With that, he got up, grabbed his backpack, and glanced one last time, letting the other sleep for now.
He ended up leaving without saying anything.
After a while, Reo woke up with the school's bell ringing for the next break, meaning he fell asleep for 45 minutes straight.
Seeing as the white-haired wasn't there anymore, he let a sad smile adorn his lips. Did he lose him again? It seemed so. What a stupid time to be tired.
The second year made sure to fix his clothes before leaving and going to his classroom. He didn't know how he would explain his absence to both his teacher and his parents, but he would do his best in coming up with some credible story.
Once he sat by his desk, he put his hand on his pocket to take out the money he had for food. As Reo didn't spend any, it would be wiser to put it inside of his coin purse to not lose it.
With that, aside from the coins, he also felt a piece of paper inside. With a furrowed eyebrow, he grabbed it first and unfolded it. There was something written there.
"Nagi Seishiro." was what was written.
