Ellie: We regret to inform you that we have switched back to Ellie's POV

Ellie POV:

"He is trying to steal my girl," Leo said as he kissed the top of my head.

I scrunched my nose in confusion, then bursted out laughing.

"Griff....liking....me?" I continued laughing until my sides hurt. 

"You are seriously blind Ellie," Leo responded shaking his head then sending Griff a quick glare.

"Griff?" I questioned, facing him. His eyes were filled with sadness and it hit me. I DID THIS. I was too stupid and Naive to realize it and every time I called him a brother or Leo called me mine, he was hurt. His eyes confirmed that everyone was right and I was wrong. Despite this, I knew it was Leo who had my heart for ever and more. So then and there I did what was best. I ran. 

I stopped in front of my locker and sat down, replaying the events.

"I'm sorry Ellie, of course I like you. Who wouldn't?! But I am also not an asshole and know when to step down. It is obvious you and Leo care for each other. I don't know how young could like that asshole, jerk face, bastard, but I hope he is taking good care of you." I turned around and saw Griff seared next to me.

"Thank you Griff, that means a lot. I'm glad we can still be friends." I responded, leaning in to hug  Griff, but he pulled away. I looked up at him in shock and he shook his head.

"No Ellie, we can't be friends. I could never just be friends with you, especially having to see you and Leo together. Goodbye Ellie," Griff waved before leaving me standing there in shock. Part of me wanted to say I would be with him but I knew I would never be happy. I knew it I were to be with him it would only be to keep our friendship and I would hate myself for it and that is why for the first time I chose myself and my happiness. For the first time I watched as someone walked out of my life, someone I loved. And for the first time, I didn't make any efforts to stop him. I would miss having Griff as my friend and my mind replayed all of our good memories, but I knew I didn't have a choice. There was no way to save our friendship in a way I would still want to be friends with him. If I dated him I would end up hating both him and I. So I turned around and headed back for lunch.

"Where is Griff?" As soon as I walked in, Jasmine dropped the bomb. 

"Gone out of my life forever," I responded trying to hold the tears in.

"BOYS GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE RIGHT NOW OR I AM GOING TO BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF ALL OF YOU!" Lexi screamed and I mentally thanked her.

"But-" Leo started, but Lexi flared at him so hard, I swear I saw him quiver a bit.

"NOW!" She screamed and with that all the boys left before any of us could get another word in.

"Now, Ellie, WHO THE FUCK DO I HAVE TO PUNCH?!" Lexi screamed.

"No one, Griff admitted to liking me and I turned him down so he broke or our friendship," I responded as I tried to keep my voice as even as possible.

"If he broke of all those good times you had, then he wasn't worth it in the first place knowing he won't even fight for you," Jasmine replied as she pulled me into a hug.

"We've gone through so much and-" tears started streaming down my eyes Lexi and Jasmine blocked the scene from the rest of the cafeteria and once again I silently thanked them."

"Shhhhhh," they both responded as they hugged me tighter.

"At least you're have Leo," Jasmine responded as I heard a Ding from my phone

Lionleo: YESSS Ma'am

I looked up at Jasmine in shock. Never have I ever heard her curse before. I looked and saw Lexi looking at her with the same expression along with pride mixed in.

"What?! I thought this was suiting occasion. I never curse unless I see fit and I saw more than fit!"  Jasmine responded as if what she had done was the most normal thing ever.  A few seconds later, Leo came bursting in through the cafeteria doors. I quickly wiped off my tears as he sat next to me.

"Wha-" before he could finish my sentence, I cut him off by hugging him.

"You know you can tell me anything, I love you," I froze when I heard those words and I felt him freeze up as well. 

"I'm sor-" I smirked before smashing my lips against his.

"I love you too," And then and there I knew everything would be just fine.
