Life has been hectic. School, family and other crazy stuffs. I never thought I could stay away from Wattpad for a day, but then I had no choice but to take a break.

Recently completing my University was enough to take my mind off Wattpad for awhile...

"Give me a piece of D" I requested. Chad who had some strips of cardboard paper in front of him looked up at me with a raised eyebrow. The others stared at me with weird looks on their faces.

"You want a piece of my D?" Winston whispered into my ear making me whack the back of his head with a folded cardboard paper.

"Perv." I muttered with a glare aimed at the guys who started snickering at the double meaning of my words.

"Must you guys turn everything into something dirty?" I asked, carving out the letter D with a pair of scissors. There was this stupid assignment our English teacher gave us and we had to complete it before tomorrow.

"Hazel, if you're hanging out with us, you have to think like us." Chad replied, forcing a sighgh out of Charlie's lips. He was the coolheaded one amongst the guys, fortunately, because I wouldn't stand someone like Chad or Winston as my project mate.

I gagged. "Think about sex everytime? Nah, I'll pass."

My head turned in time to see Levi's lips curl up in a bemused smile. "What are you smiling at?" I nudged him in the side but he didn't look up from the letter he was carving out, instead he only smiled in amusement.

Remind me why I was seated with these boys again.

Well, I can't remember how it happened but all these guys here became my best friends in a way. Over the past one week, we've been hanging out at lunch and even outside school to do our projects together. I figured that instead of hanging out with a couple of girls who wouldn't mind though, I'd rather be with the guys. Minus their dirty minds, they were really cool and supportive.

How about my other best friend, Shawn who acted like an idiot? I always see him around with his girlfriend, but besides the occasional eye contact, we don't talk to each other, at all.

Levi was just like the annoying gum that sticks to the back of your shoe. He never left my side, always saying something like I was way cooler than all the girls at school, whatever that meant.

"Do you guys mind hanging out at my place?" Chad's voice dragged me away from my thoughts. His words made all of us look up from our sketches.

"Why?" Charlie asked, giving Levi a look.

Chad chewed on his lower lip for a brief second. "Same old problem, my parents travelled out of the country." He replied with a downcast voice and facial expression.

I couldn't imagine how it would feel like if the both of my parents decide to leave me alone at home for a business trip. That would suck terribly.

"Guys, what do you say?" Charlie asked, glancing at each of us.

Levi shrugged meaning he was fine with the suggestion, I gave Charlie a silent nod, Jonathan agreed too and Winston? Trust him to say something crazy.

"Do we get to watch Bad Johnson again?" Winston asked with excitement filling every inch of his face.

Chad glared at him, clenching his fists. "No."

"But why?"

"Because it's filled with too much sexual content that's why. And I don't want to scar my eyes for life." I chirped in, continuing my sketch of a pineapple under the letter P on the cardboard paper.

"Why can't you all be normal teenagers for once?" Winston cried in despair.

No one answered him as we resumed our apportioned duties in silence. Only the scratch of our pencils on the multi-coloured cardboard papers was heard.

"But Bad Johnson-"

"Shut up!" We yelled together forcing Winston to cringe in fear.

Fast forward to seven in the evening, me and the guys were already at Chad's place. I arrived at the same time with Charlie and Winston while Levi arrived latest. Jonathan called to say he wouldn't be coming over, not that we minded anyways.

When we journeyed inside the large apartment, I noticed that Chad has brought out some blankets for us to keep warm under and a couple of pillows. The guys being typical guys, they snatched the blankets and pillows for themselves forcing me and Levi to share one blanket and a pillow.

"Tell me why you guys are my friends again?" I mumbled, my irritation settling in as I watched the guys snuggle under the blankets with smiley faces.

"Don't be such a bitch, Nat. Don't tell me you don't like the idea of sharing a blanket with Levi. We did you a huge favour." Winston said as he put on the TV with a remote control.

I glared at him while the others merely snickered including Levi who I expected would scold Winston or something.

"Aren't you comfortable?" Levi whispered in my ear. I could feel his breath fanning my neck and I had this weird feeling. Why should I?

My cheeks heated up at his close proximity. "Of course, I am." I shrugged off the emotions welling up within me, hoping Levi didn't notice my inner struggle. Glancing up at him, I had a clear view of his smiling face. Our eyes met and stayed till we got lost in each other. Then Levi blinked away. My heart sank down when I thought he might have been crept out. The smile on his face faded when the movie started and I turned to see why.

"Oh God!" I facepalmed myself when I saw the epic start of the movie we knew too well.

"Who left Winston in charge of the remote?" Levi asked, shooting Winston a dirty look. Winston grinned sheepishly as everyone's eyes descended on him. My eyes wandered somehow and I observed him trying to conceal the TV remote under his blanket.

Charlie shot out his right hand. "Winston, give me the remote, now."

Everyone seemed to be mad at Winston. The poor guy simply edged away from us after relinquishing the remote.

"Guys, cut him some slack. It's not like you all haven't watched some equally terrible things." I scolded, stifling a yawn.

The boys guffawed at that encouraging Winston to come out of hiding. Levi beside me was trying not to laugh but when I nudged him in annoyance, he joined in the laughter.

"Way to go, Hazel!" They all cheered, pumping their fists in the air. They could act like kids when ever they wanted to.

Rolling my eyes, I settled under the blanket. Chad inserted another movie Jumper, and we talked and laughed over some funny things.

Next morning, the familiar smell of strawberries tickled my nose as I snuggled into my warm and cozy pillow. Wait...pillow? I don't remember sleeping with any last night, Chad had grabbed two pillows for himself.

My eyes opened in a flash and widened at the realization that my arms were wrapped around Levi's torso and his around my waist. Our legs were tangled together under the blanket and our faces were merely inches away.

I hoped the others were still asleep and raised my head. To my utter dismay, all my friends were seated on the floor, grinning like idiots at me.

"Look, one of them is finally awake." Chad cooed, pressing his fists together under his chin.

Winston elbowed him. "Stop embarrassing her, see, she's blushing." Charlie looked up from his phone and sniggered. His legs were propped over Chad's.

My cheeks burned. Who even watches another person sleep? Nobody. But hey it's my dysfunctional boy friends we're talking about, they're far from normal.

Levi was still sleeping peacefully when I looked at him. I grabbed a pillow and whacked his face with it. Levi's eyes opened rather slowly, bearing this dreamy look in them. He flashed me a warm smile that tickled my insides.

He sat up and appeared surprised to see the boys silently watching like we were a film being played.

"Is this what you guys do every morning? Just sit there and watch others sleep?"

Exactly what I said.

"Don't mind the idiots," I forgot my legs were still entwined with the blanket and stood up only to fall flat on my face.

"Payback's a bad bitch." Winston stated, quoting Demi Lovato's Sorry not sorry.

I scowled and tore the blanket away from my feet.

Levi smirked, staring down at his wristwatch. "Well guys, I have to run now, something came up."

Chad smiled at him. "Go ahead then, thanks for spending the night here-"

"-with Hazel." Charlie inserted earning a hard slap on the back of his head.

"Ow! What the hell man." He moved away from Chad.

"Stop interrupting me, would you? Levi, so, thanks for coming over."  Chad flung Charlie a dry look.

Levi said something nice in return but I was paying more attention to making faces at Winston.

"I'll see you later, Hazel." Levi pushed himself off the floor and left us after toying with my hair.

"You two should just get married." I felt a pair of hands in my feet, Winston's. What did he want with my feet?

I slapped his fingers away. "Just shut up, dude."

Winston's lower lip fell open in utter shock. "Did you just say what I think you said?"

I lay back on the floor, tucking my arms under my head as support. "You guys are beginning to grow on me."

"Hazel's becoming badass." Chad blurted out. He was the lousiest of all the boys, he talked way too much.

"Shut the hell up, loser." Winston replied. A stranger would think these two are about getting into a fight. On the contrary, bickering was like their daily routine, like they couldn't live until they insulted each other.

Chad rolled his eyes and rolled Charlie's leg off his thighs, dragging his attention. Charlie flicked the side of his head and
moved into a more comfortable spot on the sofa.

Winston pushed himself from the sofa rather awkwardly, Charlie glanced up from his phone. "Where are you going?" He asked, suspiciously.

Winston's face reddened. "I need to take care of some business."

Chad smirked like a devil and Charlie too, but I had no single idea of what they were talking about. Why did I have this feeling they were talking about something perverted.

"What kind of business-" My eyes strayed to Winston's crotch and I snickered. "-oooh...that business."

Chad and Charlie went into a fit of laughter when Winston took off.

"You're all pervs." I accused them while struggling to contain my laughter.

Chad shot me a smug look. "Look who's talking. As if you weren't laughing like ten seconds ago."

I was struggling to whip up a comeback when Winston returned looking a little less tense.

Charlie smirked at him and swerved his attention back to me and Chad.

"Um, I think you all need to leave, I had lots of fun with you guys but I'm afraid-"

"-I have to kick you out. Are you for real?" Winston questioned with a murderous glare.

Charlie grinned, intentionally treading on Chad's fingers. The poor boy yowled in pain and threw a couple of swear words at him.

"You wanker!" Chad exclaimed, shaking his fingers in pain.

From my position I could see a bruise forming on both his index and middle fingers.

Charlie shrugged and looked at Winston. "That would be this idiot here" He patted Winston's chest. "-anyways, you all need to leave right now."

We all groaned and pushed ourselves off the floor, all of us except Chad hooked to his phone.

I kicked his back. His phone slipped from his fingers. "What?" He retrieved his phone and gazed up at me.

"Let's go. Charlie's kicking us out." I glared in Charlie's direction. The idiot was just standing there unaffected.

Chad rolled his eyes, pocketed his phone and then patted his hair into shape, reminding me of the nest I might be carrying on my head.

"How do I look?" I brushed my fingers through my brown strands.

"You look like a monster." Winston grinned, dodging my hand that reached out to whack his head.

"No, I think she looks more like a llama." Charlie added.

Dear God! These guys would be the end of me.
