A Wattpad Review: "Haemo; The Diary of A Serial Killer" by da_homosapiensapien

This was riveting because of the psychological puzzle that this muderer was to me- brilliantly described by the author.

It's the diary of a serial killer. Can't get much more descriptive without ruining half the intrigue of this great masterpiece.

Since this is written from a killer's POV (point of view), there is going to be gore. There's been no sex references as of yet, but there has been mention of drugs, alcohol, and minor swearing. I'm really impressed with this story so far because of how well it's doing in the moral area, though Haemo claims to have very few morals.

The spelling is alright, earning 7 stars out of 10. They're mainly errors that all Wattpad authors are prone to and can be easily fixed with a few tweaks. The grammar didn't distract my focus from the story and da_homosapiensapien gave their main character a large vocabulary, so I was almost never bored.

The character devealopment was PHENOMENAL- and honestly, the maker or breaker of the story. The main character, being a murderer, has  to be in a different psychological place of mind and has  to have different thinking processes than regular main characters do. And one of the hallmarks that sells him as a believable killer is his irregular and unstable behaviour. There are other things that make this a believable diary of a murderer- such as my own theory that he has schitzophrenia, and that one of the voices in his head tells him to kill- but one of the best things about this story is that you get to come up with your own belief about how he became to be what he is.

One of the only things I saw wrong that I want to bring to light is that the "news articles" that Haemo keeps in his diary that talks about his murders. They don't really feel like news clippings to me, partly because they have questions aimed at the viewers- which newspapers almost never mention unless they were interviewing somebody. Just think along the lines of "Is this a fact, or an opinion?" and "Newspapers almost never turn into questionnaires unless it's a special part of the newspaper," and you'll be well off in my standards.

To round it all together and tie it in a bow; This was an exceptional story of which I plan on reading more of. I hardly found anything to critique on.
