This was an entertaining read from the getgo, and was able to keep my interest.

What Vincent, the black smith, had seen before could not prepare him for an incident that spread far past the boarders of his small town, Andlenore.

Okayyyyy- this is rated mature right off the bat. But considering, it isn't as bad as I have seen it get. There's some mild swearing and crude references, but I think that it's rated mature mainly for violence. So horray, I don't get my eyes burned out with this story!

I liked the feel of the story and where it was headed. It had a midevil vibe, which I love, and the vocabulary was well suited for the time period. There were minimal spelling errors if there were any at all- I would give it a 9 out of 10 stars.

The flow was very nice and had good character relatibility potential from just the little I have read so far. Which leads me to say that the character development was exquisite! I was able to get a good feel for each personality introduced into the story.

But with the pros, you get the cons, too. I'm not sure if the plotline is exactly clear about what the goal is all about, but then again, I didn't get to read as far as I would like to. Also, the author sometimes went into large descriptions with big fancy words that lost me every now and then. I do enjoy good descriptions, but never underestimate the power of a simple paragraph.

With all of that in mind- being rated mature is the only deterrent for me. If you have no problems with that, go check it out as soon as you're able!
