At first I thought she was angry, but I didn't hear her say my name in her angry mode, sometimes I wish I was born in a different family, but I'm taught to learn to be grateful for what I have and don't have.

It came to me like a wave, like a tsunami. It brought me down to my knees. I am afraid. Afraid of what exactly? You'll find out.

She gave menu sister and I a small cup of orange liquid, I nearly puked from the smell.

"This is carrot juice. It's good for you, drink it."

Yes, I'm afraid of carrot juice, I don't want to ever taste it again. But I'll have to drink it tomorrow, help meeeeeeeee!!! T^T

My sister sipped it first, her face contorted with disgust and sadness. Yes, sadness, I'm not kidding. She blanched, "It tastes horrible!"

My mother shook her head, "No, it tastes good, we (dad and mom) drank it to test it, so it's not bad."

She gave me a cup and I reluctantly accepted it. Goodbye to normal life, I thought to myself and drank the carrot juice myself. I gagged. "It tastes horrible!"

Mother snapped, "No, it's not! You'll be drinking this everyday. It's for your health."

I sat down on the couch, "I'm crying inside," I sang but mother heard, "Don't be like that, when we run out of carrots, you'll be drinking lettuce juice."

Lettuce juice?!?!?!?! When I thought it was enough, she adds more!! What the....?!?!?!?!?

I picked a straw from a container and sipped from it. I was reading my book before she came over and said, "I'm going to watch you finish."

I don't really mind personally, I mean, if you have nothing to hide, you'll be okay. So after I finished the horrible tasted carrot juice, I decided to write this experience in Wattpad.

No, if you want to know what carrot juice tastes like without any sugar or sweetener whatsoever, make one yourself!!
