Exercise 1: Write a plot based on a person from the view of other and someone close to them. ( Based on the paper drawn out hat )

"Pompous, blustering Duke."

"How I would love to be a Duke. The high position, the importance, the great feeling of people looking up to you." I stare into the dark sky, the stars twinkling like diamonds.

This is the kind of thing that would make me calm, a sense of tranquility almost. Except l'm tied up. With rope. By the most known Duke in the country.

"Keep talking Maya. It'll make me want to kill you more." Duke Henry Langbert replies, snarling as he shuffles begins me. And to think I was going to marry this mental man.

"How do you keep your secret Henry? Other than the fact that you kill everyone you've told. Oh wait, that would include me." I don't miss the corner of his lips turn up slightly when he comes to meet me face to face.

"I make sure to keep track of who I've told. Oh and that too."

"You don't deserve to be a Duke. Not after everything you've done. A being like you belongs in the gutter." I spit in this face, attempting to intimidate him.

"Well sweetie, you don't deserve to be a princess but this is a cruel world." Henry grabs me and hangs my body over the cliff.

"You're dead to me."

"Maya, you're the only one dead here." He says and then suddenly, I'm falling. Now I'm dead. One of many victims to the Duke Henry Langbert's secret.

Recently, I went to a creative writing club at my local library after I had found it on the Internet.

On that day, the sessions theme was fairytales. I wrote this and I was wondering what you guys thought of it?

Do you think I should make a book where I publish what I do at this creative writing session? Technically, it would be a book full of short stories.
