"Marinette! You're going to be late!" Tikki shouts as I run across the room, searching for a certain hair bobble that I MUST have. Yes, I can get another hair bobble from the box but this is a special hair bobble that I MUST have.

"Don't worry! I've got it all under control." I say as I snatch the glorious red band from where it was hiding. I tie up my hair into a high ponytail, a new hairstyle for me. Picking up my bag, I allow Tikki to jump into the inside pocket and I leave the house.

As I'm walking down a quiet road, Tikki pops her head out of my jumper. "Marinette? If I told you that I feel like something bad is going to happen today, what would you do?" Her squeaky voice speaks.

"I would.....ignore you because it's probably just an Akuma you're thinking about. And besides, you tell me that nearly every day. And does anything go wrong? Nope!" I smile.

"It's a big feeling today Marinette....." Her voice trails off as the school comes into view before us, surrounded by other kids who are around the same age as me.

She goes back into my pocket as I reach the stairs that lead up to the 'terror house'. I spot my best friend, Alya leaning against the wall.

She looks up and notices me walking towards her and a smile fills her face. "Hey, girl! You look like you've just woken up!" She points out.

I could hear Tikki laughing her head off from inside my jumper. I do agree that my hair was all over the place this morning.....,.I think I forgot to brush it.....

"I had an abrupt start." I yawn, while also elbowing the section where Tikki is sitting. In the corner of my eye, I spot Chloe strut into the school with her minion scurrying behind her.

Her eyes watch the area and then her eyes lock with mine. A snarl appears on her face and then she starts to walk towards us.

"Girls! I need your help!" She yaps like a Chihuahua. I roll my eyes, knowing I should've run before she even got me in her sights.

"What Chloe?" I growl to her and she almost looks offended by my tone.

"I need help to grab Adrien. And you're going to stay away from him. K thanks, byeeee!" She flips her hair and then walks off in the other direction.

"That girl needs to get her head straight. We're not one of her minions!" Alya complains and I smile at my friend's fierceness.

I'm about to say something when the school bell goes off, indicating that we have to get to the first period. Many students start to make their way towards the classroom. I notice that Adrien hasn't walked in yet. Even though he's always here on the dot at 8:14.

"Ugh. Now I won't get to see Adrien! I wonder where he is?" I ask while Alya drags me to our first lesson.

I enter the room and a teacher stands at the front of the room, writing something on the board. I instantly search for Adrien, thinking I missed him while I was talking to that witch but an empty seat is all I can see.

"Sit down class! I have a few emails to read out to everyone." She calls out to all of us and I place myself down on my usual seat. "Can Marinette go to the outside of the school? Someone is waiting for you."

My head snaps up when I hear my name being called. I pack up my equipment and leave. I'm walking down the corridor and I start thinking. Who on earth could this be?

I make it down the stairs and I spot a man in a suit, with crossed arms. I slow down my pace as I start to realise the size of this man. He stands outside of a black limo and the door suddenly. A familiar black cat steps out

"Chat Noir? W-what are you doing here?" I stutter, trying to hide the terrified feeling welling up in my stomach.

"You better get in the car. I'll explain everything." He tells me, reaching his hand out. I try and trust him and take his hand. He leads me into the car where we become face to face with another stone-faced man.

The car starts moving with a jolt and I lean in towards Chat Noir who throws a protective arm around me.

"Chat Noir transform. And then Tikki and Plagg, come out." The man says and my head snaps towards Chat Noir. He doesn't make eye contact with me.

"Plagg, Claws in." He mummers and Adrien appears in front of me. I gasp and he smiles at me. Tikki comes out from my pocket who looks at Adrien and then back at the floor.

Along with a black, hovering creature with bright green eyes and pointy ears. They look at each other and then back at the man.

"What's happened? You're one of Master Fu's people aren't you?" This 'Plagg' says and the man nods his head.

"I have some very depressing to say to both of you. I understand that neither of you knows each other identities. Am I correct?" He says to us and both Tikki and Plagg look at us.

"Ladybug is Marinette," Tikki says

"And Chat Noir is Adrien. " Plagg says and my eyes widen slowly. Adrien turns to look at me with a smile.

"Surprise!" He laughs slightly, making me relax. I turn my head towards the man in front of us.

"What's the news?" I ask the man. He takes a deep breath in and then puts a serious face on.

"Master Fu.......He died last night." I gasp and Tikki lowers, grabbing Plaggs hand. Adrien takes my hand and squeezes it. "I'm really sorry."

No one says anything. We sit there, mourning our loss.

You may be thinking, why on earth is Charlotte writing in her randomness book? THIS IS FOR RANDOMS ONLYYYY! But no!

This is a contest entry for my friend The_Official_Volplina (Or the name of her backup account ).

For this contest, you have to write a one shot and the ship I have chosen is kind of MarinetteXChat. But then it turns to MarinetteXAdrien near the end.

The other requirement was sad and for that..... I killed off Mater Fu. I'm sorry, I know I'm evillll. I promise I wont do it in any other of my books ( Maybe.....)

So I hope you like it. I know I'm not going to come 1st place but it was fun doing it. Even though it did stress me out when I had to get it done when I was extremely busy ( I also got it wrong the first time I done it but oh wellllll ).
