Dream or Memory
Tune: Deep Sea Girl, Clock Lock Works, and Regret Message (yes, most, if not all my music will be from vocaloid songs.)
Dark Themes: N/A
I'm walking to my home
Where I live all alone.
Why do I wish to hear the sound of piano?
A small smile on my face
As my mind drifts off to a happier place,
Where there are sunbeams instead of falling snow.
The cold windy winter air
Sends snowflakes flying everywhere.
Someone used to walk home with me,
But was he really there?
Chorus:
Why can't it be
That there's more than only me?
Wherever I go
Under the sun or through the snow?
Suddenly,
I remember a friendly face.
But the edges of the image soon erase.
Being undone at the seams,
Was that a memory or just a dream?
I'm walking to my home
Where I live all alone.
I want to hear the music from your piano.
I seem to remember that face before
Hiding behind my mem'ries doors.
But were you really here, if so
Where did you go?
Sweet melodies echo through my mind,
Stirring up faint memories of being left behind.
That's when you first appeared,
And you were so kind.
But were you really there or
Just in my mind.
Chorus:
Why can't it be
That there's more than only me?
In this lonely place
Only filled with empty space.
In the dark,
I see your smiling face.
But the edges of the image soon erase.
Being undone at the seams.
Was that a memory or just a dream.
~~~
Near midnight,
a dream or memory
Of you playing your piano
Softly smiling at me.
A/N: Hello! This is probably one of the shortest songs I've made. Anyway, I made this after English class and after I felt cold from the Aircon. Yes, I do live in the Philippines, but that doesn't mean that I welcome too much cold. So yeah, a poem + cold= a song.
I'm not sure of what exactly this is about, but I mainly did it thinking about imaginary friends. I don't mean BingBong from Inside Out. I mean like a friend that you conjure up when you're lonely or hurt. Not that I have one. Like I said, I'm not quite sure what I was thinking of. It may just be that the friend was real and just moved away or something along the lines of it. Put your thought in the comments. I plan to write a oneshot about this on a later date, but it will just on the way I think of it. Funny, isn't it? Even the maker can't understand her creation.
The music starts with Deep Sea Girl, but the majority is Clock Lock Works. Regret Message's essence can be heard somehow in it. Naturally, this is made for a piano.
Well that's all for now, see ya!
