A/N : Now you guys know what happens when I read the Book Thief. Seriously. I wrote this the day after I read it. I love the book. I don't know why but I like those sad endings. It's kind of bittersweet.

The song itself is what happens to a girl who managed to hide from an atomic bomb thanks to her friend. Sadly, her friend dies while he decides to get more people to safety. The first part has nothing to do with a zombie. One of my friends thought that the singer was a zombie when she read it so I'm clarifying it now. A oneshot of this is likely to be made on a later date.

This song is actually the first full song I wrote down. I have a tune for it too. If I could actually know what notes I'm singing, I would play it on my flute. Yay, fun fact about me. Though, I prefer this on a piano or guitar. Also, I don't know how to split the lines into stanzas, so I basically split them where there are pauses or significant change in tune. And yes, I did get a sad melody out of the upbeat vocaloid song.
