My discord account was hacked because I fell for a scam pretending to be one of my friends and saying they accidentally reported me and sending me a link to appeal it and when I did they asked me to change my email address on discord and like an idiot I fell for it.

So be careful if anyone says they accidentally reported you and don't make the same error I did, they can make themselves look identical to accounts you've friended so be careful.
