What if there's a lady that cleans up a murder each month. And just expels the blood and who knows what's down a garbage chute.

And the cleaning lady hated doing this each month so she beat along the walls and ripped the wallpaper down putting it down the chute as well.

She just scurries around with a vacuum and feather duster screaming and beating the walls.

And there's a blockage that gets changed occasionally and it absorbs the rubbish. Or sometimes there isn't a blockage and it all just falls out making a massive mess.
