"Logan?"

She turns to look at the boy who spoke her name.

"Jesse?"

He looks into her green eyes, there was no surprise or relief- only a sickly, emotionless reflection of the train station around them.

"What have you been up to, recently?"
He asks, trying to get something out of her while they were here.

Logan only sighs quietly to herself.

Jesse rocks on his feet as he looks around.

"I always though you'd call in to check on me, or something... I've been wanting to see you again."
Jesse continues as Logan looks away.

"You don't need a babysitter anymore, Jesse, what are you doing here?"
Logan hisses lowly toward Jesse, he winces at her tone.

"You know something that bothered me, Logan?"
Jesse declines her question with his.
"You never seemed to smile."

"I'm not in the mood for your games- Jesse."
Logan grumbles, crossing her arms.

"What games?"
Jesse wonders curiously around Logan.
"Logan, if you really knew me- you'd already know why I'm here."

The people in the train station hurried about their day, not bothering the two.

"We all had high expectations of you, Jesse. But I guess we'll take a step away & wait to see for ourselves, just what you really become."
Logan finally states before picking up her suitcase & boarding a train. Just before the doors closed, Logan takes off her sunglasses to look Jesse in the eye.

"When I see you again, I hope I'm greeted as a friend, Logan. Especially after all that we've been through!"
Jesse calls to her, he regretfully watches Logan leave.

But he swore that he could see her give a tiny smile before the train chugged out of sight.

You should really listen to the song- every time I hear it- I feel like I'm gonna cry. Because I watched a Cherik vid to it &... 😭
