I'm Here With Another Oc And This Is One I've Had In The Works For Awhile Now, I've Known About Lackadaisy Since About 2021 And 2022, And Became Obsessed And Into The Webcomic When Finding Out About The Making Of The Pilot At The Time And Was Instantly Hooked And Interested, But Eventually I Didn't Get Very Far With The Webcomic Due To Being Busy And Not Having Much Time, Plus It Has So Many Pages And So I Kind Fell Back When It Came To Lackadaisy And My Obesssion Dropped A Little. But Things Changed Just Recently When The Pilot Was Uploaded And Dropped A Few Weeks Ago And I Immediately Fell Back In Love With Lackadaisy And Started To Really, REALLY Appreciate It More And More, This Pilot Was REALLY Good And Just So Much Fun And Enjoyable To Watch And It Was Honestly Just Leaving Me Wanting More And I Do Hope This Becomes An Actual Series Someday. Backstory: "Kathy Comes From A Very Wealthy Family And Both Of Her Parents Are Workaholics And Aren't Usually Around As Often, They Weren't Always Like This As They Did Have Plenty Of Quality Time With Their Daughter And Her Siblings When They Were Kids, But As They Grew Up, Things Started To Grow Apart And Change. Kathy's Mother At Least Does Make Efforts To Try And Spend Time With Her Daughter And Be There For Her, While Her Father..Not As Much. He's Not Neglectful, A Deadbeat Or Anything Like That, Far Close From That! It's Just That He's Very Busy And Just Doesn't Have A Lot Of Time To Be There For His Family Much. Kathy Doesn't Have Many Friends And Doesn't Really Get Out Much, Things Did Change When Her And Her Family Moved From California To St. Louis, Missouri. And While Although Her Family Was Wealthy, They Still Had Some Struggles To Deal With Especially When It Came To Her Grandfather Dealing With A Sickness And Wanting To Help Provide For The Family More, Kathy Decided To Take Matters Into Her Own Hands And Start Job Searching, To Help Her Loved Ones Out And To Help Provide Enough Money For Her Grandfather's Medical Bills, And Help Earn The Money They Needed For The Medicine For Her Grandfather. After Struggling To Find The Right, Perfect Job, She Ended Up Coming Across The Speakeasy And Meeting Up With Mitzi And The Rest Of The Crew At Lackadaisy, Including Meeting Ivy, Freckle ('Calvin') Rocky Themselves. Kathy At First, Didn't Know What To Really Make When It Came To Her Coming Across The Speakeasy, At First Glance..It Looked Sorta Empty And Not As Active Until It Xamd Pretty Clear That The Business Has Been Struggling And Dealing With Its Ups And Downs Since The Death Of Atlas May. But She Still Wanted To Try Applying For A Job (She Ends Up Working As A Waitress, Btw!) And Help Out Around The Business. But Deep Down, Depise Wanting To Give This Job Opportunity A Try, She Honestly Felt A Little Out Of Place, Because Kathy Isn't Exactly Very Social And Trys To Stay Away From Others, Due To Past Experiences And Was Often Nervous Of Messing Things Up And Giving A Bad First Impression. Before Coming To St. Missouri, Kathy Recently Got Out Of A Relationship With Her Horrible, Douchbag Boyfriend, Richard. He Wasn't Very Supportive And Caring For Her, Was Often Lazy And just Walked All Over Her And Forced Into Things She Didn't Wanna Do, And Would Threaten Her If She Didn't Cooperate And Stalled Her A Couple Of Times. It Didn't Take Until Her Parents To Talk Her Through To Get Her To Break Up With Richard, Which She Eventually Did, But Those Scars And Terrible Experiences She Had With Him Still Hurt And Remain. So, Although Kathy Is Trying To Move On And Start A New Life, She Just Can't Help But Feel Nervous And Awkward, As She Wasn't Sure On How Things Were Gonna Go, Or How Others We're Gonna View And See Her."

Relationships:

Ivy - "The Two Almost Have A Sisterly, Girly Bond With Each Other And Are Generally Good Friends, And Are Also Supportive Of One Another As Well. When First Meeting, Ivy Was Willing To Show Her Around Town And Give Her A Tour Of The Speakeasy, And Wanting To Get To Know Kathy Better. Both She And Ivy Actually Got Along Just Fine And Often Have Sleepovers And Get Together Every Once In Awhile, Kathy Is Probably One Of The Closest People's She's Ever Open Up To..She Sees Ivy As Someone Who's Able To Understand And Listen To Her, Since As She Grew Up Her Parents Started To Distance Themselves From Her And Her Siblings And Just Didn't Have Much Time For Her Anymore, And Kathy Felt Very Alone And She Was Started To Lose Friends And People Who She Thought Cared About Her. So, When Getting To Know Ivy And Know About Her, She Was Seeing As Ivy Almost Being Her Real, Actual Friend And Someone Who Actually Cared About Her For Her, Not Because Of Her Wealth And Status And Kathy Just Couldn't Be Any Happier And Glad."

Freckle ("Calvin") - "When First Meeting, Freckle Was Very Shy And Quiet Around Her, And So Their First Meeting Was A Little Awkward And Not Exactly On The Best Terms, So It Took Sometime For The Two To Warm Up To Each Other. Kathy Loved And Adored Freckle When They First Met, And Loved His Kind Nature, But Respect His Boundaries And Was Willing To Give Him Sometime And Let Him Come To Her When He's Ready, Besides She's Heard That He's A Little Crazy Side To Him When Given A Gun, But Was Overall A Sweet Boy Overall. Heck, In A Way..She Could Relate To Freckle Since She Also Gets Shy And Isn't Very Social With People, And Struggles With Her Own Issues And Insecurities. But, She Does Like How Freckle Has A Good Heart And Is Generally A Nice Person, Even Though He Does Have A Temper And Is A Little Crazy. The Two Did Have A Nice Friendship, Though They Don't Spend That Much Time Together They Can Relate To Certain Things When It Comes To Some Of Their Struggles And Families."

Rocky - "As For Rocky, Well...At First, Kathy Didn't Know What To Think Of Him Exactly. Sure, He Seemed Sweet And Kind, Along With Being Very Respectful, But He Is Pretty Insane And Is Kinda Unhinged, Which Concerned And Even Scared Kathy A Little Since She's Never Really Been Around Others Like Him Before And Also Isn't As Social, So The Way He'd Go From Being Calm And Normal To Just Insane, Just Scared A Bit..She Almost Thought He Was Like A Ticking Time-bomb That Could Explode At Any Moment, Like Anything Could Set Him Off. There Were Even Times She Was Afraid Of Rocky Hurting Her And Doing Something That Would Cause Him To Possibly Snap. But As Time Went On, Both Rocky And Kathy Started To Get To Know Each Other A Bit More And Started Spending Some Quality Time Together, And Things Weren't As Awkward For The Two As It Was In The Early Stages When They First Met. Kathy Adored And Loved Rocky's Love And Passion For Music, Especially When It Comes To His Violin Which He Learned How To Play, Thanks To His Mother. In A Way, She And Rocky Share Some Things In Common When It Comes To Music And Even Poetry, Kinda. As A Little Girl To A Young Teenager, Kathy Used To Be A Dancer And Even Won A Few Beauty Pageant As A Kid, But After An Accident And The Passing Of Kathy's Grandmother, Shelly (Someone She Was Very Close To And Taught Her Dancing In The First Place, Which Encouraged Her To Go Follow Her Dream And Go For It) Kathy Decided To Leave That All Behind Her And Retire, And Move On And Even Sometimes Trying To Forget She Ever Used To Be A Dancer At All. As A Young Woman, She Started To Get Into Music And Growing A Love And Strong Connection For Music, Which Helped As She Had Some Musicians In Her Family On The Other Side, Especially When It Came To A Few Of Her Cousins And Uncle, She Eventually Became A Musician Herself Later Down The Line. She's Mostly Good At Playing The Piano And Clarinet, She Has Pretty Good Experience At Playing Both!"

Mitzi And The Rest At The Speakeasy - "Both Mitzi And Kathy Have A Pretty Good, Healthy Loving Relationship And Kathy Even Almost Seen A Little Of Her Grandmother In Mitzi, Someone Very Caring And Understanding, But Also Very Honest And Supportive. Kathy Feels Just Close Connection Whenever Spending Her Time At The Speakeasy And Mitzi Herself, As She Feels Like They're Like The Friends She's Never Had, Growing Up She Was Always Told To Be And Act A Certain Way And She Had Never Really Been Able To Make Her Own Choices. Sure, Her Parents Weren't Controlling And Horrible, But They Still Tried To Take Over Kathy's And Just Help Their Daughter Out Because They Wanted To Do What They Thought Was Best For Her. Growing Up, Kathy Really Struggled To Keep Others Around And Just Make Friends, And It Didn't Help That She Was Often Struggling With Her Own Demons, Especially When It Came To Her Alcoholism And Not Being Able To Control Herself, Especially When Partying And She Just Never Really Had Someone To Talk And Connect With Except Her Grandma, Who She Felt Understood Her The Most And Her Passing Effected Her Deeply. So, When Starting To Work At The Speakeasy Really Helped Kathy And Helped Build Her Conference A Little Bit. She Didn't Get Along With Everyone At First And It Took Some Time, Especially With How She Struggled With Making New Friends + Having Some Trust Issues And Isn't Very Social. But, She Was Able To Slowly Build Herself And Start Being A Little More Active And Talkative Than To How She Was Before Moving To St. Louis."
