Kina's POV

Someone finally got to Kalisa. She has been blushing since Jayce asked her on a date last night. Of course, she said yes.

With her being a Surgeon, her life is on the hectic side. Kalisa doesn't have time for a relationship, but she wants one. I think it would be cute for her and Jayce to be a couple.

"You haven't been this happy in a while, Kalisa. Jayce is a good guy."

"I haven't been on a date in a while since becoming a surgeon. Of course, I'm going to say yes to a date with Jayce Sterling. Who in their right mind would turn down a date with him?"

"We all know Jayce is getting grilled by dad, Kenard, and Kenton right now?"

"I don't know what for. Jayce already knows the deal. Besides, it's just a date. It's not like anything is going to happen."

"Oh, Jayce knows not to play any games. Kalisa, you never know. My friend Reece is coming for a visit. Reece and Jayce are best friends. Reece is cute too, so if you're not interested in Jayce, check out Reece."

"Wait a minute? Did you say Reece is cute too? That means you think Jayce is cute as well."

"Girl, don't even go there. I am married to Dario and carrying his baby. Of course, Jayce is attractive. I have had to block several women from mobbing him at events. Where are you guys going for your date?"

"We are going to The Waterfront Parlour for dinner. Then, we are going to Club Paramount."

"The Waterfront Parlour is one of the most exclusive restaurants in Miami. You will love it. And, Club Paramount is a popular, celebrity club. You are going to have an awesome night. Dario and David will be going with you guys."

"Thanks, Kina. And, thanks for the outfit."

"You're welcome, sis. You might as well wear it because my belly is about to be huge. Let's go downstairs and rescue Jayce from dad and the boys."

Jayce's POV

I have never felt more intimidated than I do now. Kina's brothers and father are no joke. I hope Kina and Kalisa are coming down the steps soon.

"Dad, Kenard, and Kenton leave Jayce alone," Kina says as she entered the living room.

"We are just doing what any brother or father would do to their daughter or sister's date. He passed, and it better stay that way too, Jayce." Kina's brothers and father left the living room.

"I hope they didn't give you a hard time. My dad and brothers are always like that when any of the Padmore girls go out on dates. "

"Jayce and Kalisa, are you ready?" Dario asks as he walked into the living room.

"A night on the town with Jayce Sterling? Heck yeah. Wait until my doctor friends hear about this."

Kalisa linked her arm with mine as we followed Dario outside.

"We are riding in Kina's Cullinan," Dario says as he opens the passenger doors.

"Yes! Thanks, Dario. I'll thank Kina later."

Dario parked in front of the restaurant, then opened both passenger doors for us to get out. We then followed David inside the restaurant. I gave the hostess my name then she led us to our table. We started talking while waiting for our waiter.

"Jayce, I really appreciate this date. It's been a while since I have had a night like this. Thank you."

"You're welcome. And, your father and brothers said they are going to ask you if you had a good time."

"Jayce, don't pay them no mind. They do that every time any of the Padmore girls go out on dates. They mean well. You don't have to worry. Now that Dario can't hear us, how long have you liked Kina?"

"What do you mean?"

"Boy, please. I can see it in the way you look at her. And, your cheeks just turned red as a tomato."

"Fine. I have been trying so hard to hide it. I realized it the day Kina got engaged to Dario. Kina is happily married with a baby on the way. I have to respect that. I would be a total jerk and more to break up their marriage."

"You sure would."

The waiter came to take our food and drinks order. After taking our orders, he walked away.

"Please don't think that our date isn't sincere. It really is. You seem like you're a sweet person and fun to be around."

"Thanks, Jayce. I am a sweet person. My life is hectic from being a Surgeon, so I rarely go out on dates. I want to start dating, but I also love my profession. Several times during dates, I was paged for immediate surgeries. My patients mean the world to me, so of course, I left the dates to go to the hospital. It's hard to find a balance."

"You'll find a balance. You're passionate about both - wanting a relationship and knowing that the surgeries you perform help people."

"You're a sweet person too, Jayce. We will find the perfect ones for us. But, let's enjoy ourselves tonight."

"That was the fanciest meal I have ever eaten. It was delicious. Now, I am ready to dance."

"I aim to please. I'm glad you enjoyed it." Thankfully, I have a VIP booth here, so Dario drove to that entrance.

"After I finish parking, I'll join you inside. Follow David."

After Kalisa and I stepped out of the Cullinan, we followed David inside the club.

As soon as we reached the top of the staircase, we saw...

"Oh my gosh, please tell me I am not dreaming that Mason Myles is walking this way."

"You're not dreaming. We are good friends. He's cool. Take a few deep breaths because I see you are about scream. Hey, Mason, good to see you again."

"Good to see you too, Jayce. And, who is this lovely lady with you?"

"This is Kalisa Padmore, Kina's sister. Kina's family is visiting from New York."

"It's nice to meet you, Kalisa. You're as beautiful as Kina. It must run in the family."

Kalisa was grinning from ear to ear after Mason said that.

"Thank you, Mr. Myles. I'm a huge fan of yours. And, thank you for the autograph."

"You're welcome. And, please call me Mason. How long are you visiting? And, how is Kina?"

"Let's go chill in the booth." While we were talking, Dario caught up with us. The three of us then followed David and Dario to the booth.

"I'm staying with Kina and Dario for two weeks. The rest of my family are staying for one week. Kina is pregnant with her and Dario's first child, so we came down to celebrate. Her baby girl is the first grandchild in the family."

"That's great news. Congratulations, Dario."

Dario replied, "Thank you, Mason."

"Kina mentioned that your siblings are huge fans, so how about I come over and we can chill out?"

"Dario, oh sweet brother-in-law of mine, please say yes," Kalisa pleaded. I couldn't help but chuckle.

"Of course."

Kalisa jumped off the couch to hug Dario. "Thanks, bro. Mason, I hope you like spicy Jamaican food because that is what we'll fix to eat."

"Spicy is great for me. How about I come tomorrow around noon?"

"Noon is perfect. Thank you so much. My brothers and sisters are going to be so excited when I tell them. Now, Jayce, let's go dance."

Kina's POV

I wonder how Kalisa and Jayce's date is going?

Everyone else went to sleep, but I stayed up. It's 2:00 am, and they are not home yet. I'm sitting in the kitchen, eating a huge bowl of ice cream. Well, it's not just for me. Natalia wanted some too.

I heard footsteps coming my way. I guess someone else is as nosy as I am. It was my mom.

"Kina, honey, what are you doing up?"

"Natalia wanted some ice cream."

"Child, don't blame Natalia. You are as nosy as I am about Kalisa's date with Jayce."

"Okay. I am nosy. But, I was craving some ice cream. Ooh, I believe the door just opened."

My mom and I walked to the foyer.

"Mom and Kina, what are you guys doing?"

"We want to hear about your date with Jayce."

Jayce, Dario, and David laughed as they walked away. Mom and I followed Kalisa to her room.

"Oh my gosh, you both are a trip. Dinner was divine. And, I met Mason Myles! He is coming over later to meet everyone. Oh, and he said congratulations to you and Dario, Kina. And, we are fixing Jamaican food."

"Yes! I'm glad you had a great time. So, what about you and Jayce?"

"There will be no me and Jayce. Jayce is cool, and we are just going to be friends. He did tell me about Reece."

"Reece is sweet. He's coming later today. I'm going to try and get some sleep now. See you all later."

By the time I woke up, Kalisa, Kea, and Keandra had fixed a buffet for lunch. I just chuckled.

"You guys are a trip."

"Hey, we had to bring it. How often do we get to meet a celebrity like Mason Myles? How are you and Natalia?" Keandra asked.

I couldn't help but rub my belly. "We are hungry."

"Have a seat. I'll fix you a plate."

"Thanks, Kalisa. I hope Natalia is okay with me eating spicy foods. I'm going to cry if she doesn't want me to eat it."

I took several bites of the jerk chicken and chewed it slowly. So far, my baby girl is okay with spicy food. We heard the door opening. My sisters ran out of the kitchen. It was hilarious!

I carried my plate with me as I walked out of the kitchen.

My siblings swarmed around Mason. "You guys, let him breathe. Thanks for coming, Mason."

"It's not a problem."

"Standing to your left are my twin brothers - Kenard and Kenton. Standing to your right are my sisters - Kea, Keandra, and Kalisa. This is the Padmore Crew. Coming down the stairs is my mom and dad - Tauni and Simeon."

"It's nice to meet everyone. Now, I remember Kalisa here talking about Jamaican food, and I am starved."

"Follow me, Mason, to the kitchen."

My brothers and sisters are having a blast talking with Mason Myles. He planned on spending the whole day with my family. He's definitely one of the nicest celebrities in Hollywood.

Dario went to pick up Reece from the airport.

My mom and dad took me shopping for baby things for Natalia. When I say my daughter is going to be spoiled, I mean it.

"Thank you, mom and dad."

"You're welcome, honey. Let Grandpa Simeon know which room is for Natalia. He's going to paint it for you before the baby furniture is delivered. "

"With as much stuff as we bought today, Natalia will need a big room. So, her room will be the bedroom across from us. And, of course, I want her room to be pink."

"You got it, princess."

After hugging my parents, I went to the game room. On my way down the staircase, the front door opened.

"Reece! How are you?" I went to hug Reece.

"I'm doing great. How are you, my friend?"

"Three months pregnant with a baby girl."

"Well, well, well. Congratulations, Kina and Dario. What's her name?"

"Her name is Natalia Chrystyna Ginnetti. It's a mix of our cultures, and Natalia is Dario's mom's middle name."

"Nice."

"Are you hungry?" I mumbled the next sentence. "Are you single?"

"No, I'm not hungry yet. And, did you just ask if I was single? Who are you trying to set me up with?"

"I may have told one of my sisters about you. Her name is Kalisa."

"So, is this your sister?"

Reece showed me a picture, and it looks like it was taken at the club she went to with Jayce last night.

"Yes, that's my sister. Where did you get that?"

"From Jayce. He asked me if I was still single and interested in dating. I spoke to her for a little bit, but I like to put a name with a face."

"Oh, okay. Let's go to the game room. That's where everyone is. Oh, Mason Myles is here also."

"The actor?! Sweet. Lead the way." Reece and I went to the basement, then walked towards the game room. We heard very loud laughter.

"Oh, I have three dogs now. My baby dog is Bentley. He is a Yorkie. Then, there is Blaze, who is a Golden Doodle. And, then there is Beau, my Husky."

"We have to keep in touch more. A lot has happened since we last talked."

"I agree. Hey everyone, this is my good friend, Reece. Reece, from left to right is my siblings - Kenard, Kenton, Kalisa, Kea, and Keandra. All of our names begin with a K. Next to Kea is Mason Myles. "

"It's nice to meet everyone."

"Okay losers, now it's game time. Kina has arrived. Prepare to lose."
