After dropping Twinkle at home, I went to a mall and bought a special gift for my girl because the day after tomorrow was her birthday and I wanted to make this birthday very special for her because it was her first birthday with me.

It was evening when I reached my apartment. I realised that Ryan wasn't there that meant her mom wasn't at home too. I got freshen up and left for her house. I pressed the doorbell and a few seconds later, she opened the door. Her beautiful eyes brightened up as she saw me. I got inside and closed the door. She immediately jumped on my back. I chuckled as I started walking inside, with her on my back.

I made her fall on the couch and sat beside her, scooping her in my arms.

"You were missing me, that's why you came here na?" she asked cutely.

"I miss you every second when I'm not with you but I've come here for another reason." I said kissing the side of her face.

"What's that?" she asked with a serious face.

"The thing is that bachcha, your finals are going to start from the next month and I know you've studied nothing till now. You need to focus on your studies. I don't want to be a distraction for you." I said as I put her hair behind her ear.

"Laksh, you're not a distraction for me. Okay!" she said as she hugged me.

"I know better. And I'm serious!" I said as I broke the hug and made her look at me.

"What do you want me to do then?" she asked frowning.

"See, as only one month is left for the exams, going to college isn't necessary and I want you to do self study at home. I'll help you if you need any help because you know your boyfriend is also an engineer." I started.

"Okay! I'll start studying from next week." she said with a bored look.

"No, you'll start it from today." I said sternly.

"Laksh! You are acting like parents act with their children when their exams are near." she said rolling her eyes.

"Think whatever you want but you have to start studying seriously otherwise..."

"Otherwise what?" she asked glaring me.

"I'll not meet you. As you'll not be going to college, it'll not be needed for me to be around you." I said with a serious face.

She stared at me for a few seconds and then pushed me away. She got up and started leaving. I got up immediately and held her hand.

"Ragini!"

"You want to go away from me, then go. Why are you finding excuses of staying away?" she said looking at me with anger.

Shit! It wasn't supposed to go like this.

"Bachcha, you're taking me wrong. I didn't mean this." I said pulling her to me.

"Then? What did you mean? How dare you talk about staying away from me when you know that I can't live without you?" she asked and I saw her eyes turning glassy.

Oh my baby!

"Ragini... Shh... Mera bachcha, don't cry. I'm sorry! Please... I'm not going away from you. Not today, not tomorrow. Never." I said as I hugged her and started running my hand on her back.

"I just don't want you to take your studies lightly. I don't want you to fail because of me. Career is very important bachcha. I want you to pass the exams with flying colours and make me proud." I said kissing her head.

"I'll study. I'll get good marks, I promise. I'll make you proud. But please never talk about going away from me." she mumbled as he gripped my shirt in her hands from the back.

I shouldn't have said that. I just thought that if I'll say like that then she'll start studying without any distraction but I guess, staying away from me is going to be a bigger distraction for her. Even I can't stay away from this crazy girl.

"I promise too." I said tightening my grip around her.

"I love you." she said as she looked up at me.

"I love you too." I said as I bend down and captured her lips.

I was taken aback when she pushed me away.

"Ragini!" I said glaring her.

"I think I should start studying now. My exams are nearing. Don't distract me." she said smirking at me.

Dammit!

"But what about my penalty kiss?" I asked pouting.

"Hihi..." she started laughing devilishly.

I smirked and pulled her to me again but my grip was tighter this time. She was trying to push me and get free but was unable to do it. As I tried to claim her lips again, the devil girl kept her hands on her face.

"Move your hands." I said groaning.

She shook her head in no. I held both of her hands and took them to her back and held them there with my one hand.

"This is not fair. You're stronger than me." she complained with a pout.

"Everything is fair when it comes to kissing the girl I love." I said before capturing her lips with mine.

I started kissing her passionately. She didn't response being stubborn. I bit on her lower lip and she hissed but still didn't respond.

God! The stubbornness of this girl!

I bit on her lip again and she finally gave in. I smirked in between the kiss while she rolled her eyes. We pulled off feeling out of breath.

She was about to open her mouth to say something when we heard the door bell ring.

"Shit!" I said as I left her hands.

"Huh... You'll leave but what about me? My lips are swollen because of you. How will I open the door now?" she asked glaring at me.

"I don't know. Find any excuse. I'm going." I said as I hurriedly ran towards the back door of the house.

I heard her stamping her feet and laughed.

I reached my apartment and found Yash and Ryan sitting in the hall.

"Where were you?" asked Ryan frowning.

"You don't know?" I asked as I fell besides Yash.

"I know everything!" he said smirking.

"Then why are you asking me and wasting my energy?" I asked with a bored expression.

He made faces at that while I rolled my eyes.

"So, you are going to tell her parents about you, the day after tomorrow?" asked Yash as he looked at me.

"Hmm... Ya..."

"Are you nervous?" asked Ryan chuckling.

"Shut up Rey! There's nothing to laugh. It's common. You'll not understand." said Yash, glaring him.

"Ha, only you can understand. You give him some tips." said Ryan getting up and making his way towards the kitchen.

"Don't worry! It'll go well." said Yes as he patted on my back.

"It have to. I can't even think of my life without her now!" I said sighing.

"I know. I can see that. Everything will be fine. All parents wants the happiness of their children and Ragini is their only child. Nothing is important for them, besides her. They will definitely agree for her happiness." he said smiling at me.

I was laying on the bed and was staring at the ceiling.

Tomorrow is her birthday. A special day for her.

I didn't tell her about my nervousness. She's acting very cool about the matter. She's not nervous, not even a bit. And I never felt so nervous in my entire life. Don't know how her parents are going to react to our relationship!

I looked at wall clock. Only one minute was left for the clock to strike twelve. I picked up my phone and called her. She picked up the call after first ring only.

"Happy Birthday to you... Happy Birthday happy birthday happy birthday to you... A very happy birthday to the love of my life..." I said as soon as she picked up the call.

I heard her giggling at the other side and that made me smile.

"Thank you to the man I love." she replied and I knew she was definitely blushing.

"You didn't sleep yet?" I asked.

"I was feeling sho sheepy but I was waiting for your call. I knew you will be the first to wish me." she said cutely.

Her voice was heavy because she was forcing herself to stay awake.

"Aww mera bachcha!" I said.

"Hehe..."

"Now sleep, ok. Will meet you tomorrow." I said.

"Hmm... Good night..." she said kissing her phone.

"Good night..." I said before disconnecting the call.

Next morning, I got out of my room after getting ready for the day and found both Ryan and Yash in the kitchen.

"They didn't go to the office today?" I asked referring to Ragini's parents.

"Nope! Mr Gadodia said that it's his lifeline's birthday today so he'll spend the whole day with her. No work today!" replied Yash.

"Same dialogue of Mrs Gadodia." said Ryan.

"Oh!" I said as I leaned to the counter and crossed my arms around my chest.

"They'll spend the whole day with her?" I asked.

"Hmm..."

My face fell at that.

I wanted to spend atleast some minutes of the day with her. It was her birthday.

"Don't worry. You can meet her during the party!" said Yash smiling.

I just nodded as I left the kitchen.

The whole day, I didn't see her. She went out for shopping and watching movie with her parents and Yash. I was all the day in my room, doing nothing. In the evening, I got ready for the party, wearing a baby pink T-shirt with a rough blue jeans and a white jacket.

I looked at the gift I bought for her and smiled as I slipped the red colored velvet box inside the pocket of my jacket.

She's going to freak out, definitely. I'm already feeling so excited, imagining her wide eyes and happy face.

I left my room and found Yash and Ryan waiting for me.

"Let's go!" Ryan said and the three of us started walking out.

We found her standing at the door of her house with her parents.

And damn, she was looking so beautiful and hot.

I was feeling like taking her in my arms at the very moment but I needed to control myself. She looked at me and smiled. Seeing her smiling face after not seeing her whole day was such a great feeling.

"Yash, you go and bring your wife to the party place. Ryan, you too come with Yash. We're leaving with Laksh." said Mr Gadodia as he looked at us.

And as he said, the four of us got inside one car with me on the driving seat. Mr Gadodia was sitting besides me while Ragini was sitting at the backseat with her mother. I started the car and drove away from the house. From the mirror, I was looking at Ragini who was looking at me already.

Without getting noticed, I winked at her and she blushed making me go insane.

All of us got out as we reached the place. Ragini started walking inside with her parents while I stayed outside, leaning to the car. Ragini turned to look at me and signed me to come. I nodded to her with an assuring smile. She smiled back and went inside.

A few minutes later, Ryan, Yash and his wife also came there. I moved towards them. They got out of the car.

"Did you bring what I said?" I asked to Yash.

He nodded as he took out the bouquet of red roses from the car and gave them to me.

"I thought they were for me!" said his wife frowning.

He chuckled at that.

"So, what are we waiting for? Let's go in!" said Ryan excitedly and they started walking inside.

I smiled looking at the roses and started following them.
