Laksh

We reached the old building from where the kidnapper called. The police was also with us. We entered inside but couldn't find anyone, neither the kidnappers nor Ragini. We kept shouting for Ragini but there were no traces of her or anyone else. I was getting more and more impatient with each passing second.

"I think they came to know about us being with the police that's why they left before us reaching here. That's why I was saying, let's get Ragini first and then involve the police. But no one listened to me. Now, they took Ragini with them." I said as I held my head in between my hands.

God! I'm feeling so frustrated.

"Now? How are we going to find Ragini?" asked her father with a worried expression.

Well, he agreed with me for getting Ragini first but the police didn't listen. They said that the kidnapper can be dangerous and he can harm Mr Gadodia and Ragini as well. So, we shouldn't take any risk. The kidnapper wanted only Mr Gadodia to come with twenty crores of cash money.

"Let us call the same number and track the location." said one of the inspector as he called the same number.

We heard the sound of the ringing of the phone from somewhere around. All of us started looking for the phone. Yash found the phone under the table, along with a recorder. All of us looked at the recorder. He turned on the recorder and all of us became silent to hear what was in it.

"Tch... Tch... Shekhar Gadodia, I gave you a chance to save your beloved daughter but you lost that chance by involving police in the matter. Didn't I warn you not to tell the police? But you didn't listen to me and tried to act smart. Now, you'll regret this all your life because you've lost your only daughter forever. You'll never get her back now. Niether today, not tomorrow or any other day. She'll be with me forever, as my wife."

My eyes went wide as the last sentence sank inside my head. My body panicked while my heart started running a marathon and my hands curled into fists.

"I'm going to marry your daughter but so sad future sasur ji that you'll not be able to do kanyadaan of your princess. You'll not be able to see her for the last time. I'm taking her far away from your reach. I was a fool to run behind your money that I didn't notice the beauty of your daughter. She's so damn sexy. I'm going to get her in my be..."

Before he could complete I snatched the recorder from Yash and threw it away. It hit the wall and broke into pieces. I knew my eyes were red till now. My body was shaking with anger and rage.

That son of a bitch has the guts to even think about marrying my girl and touching her!!! I'm going to cut his body into pieces once I got him. I'm gonna show him what I can do to the one who'll even lay an eye on my Ragini.

I looked at her father who was also making fists of his hand and was glaring the recorder.

"We have to reach there before he can marry my daughter. I can't let him spoil my daughter's life." said Mr Gadodia in a vulnerable voice.

Yes, we have to find her. I want to make sure that she is fine.

Ragini

I was sitting on the floor in the new place where they've brought me. My hand were tied at my back and my legs were also tied. I still don't have any idea about what he's planning to do. I just hope dad and Laksh will come on time. I'm feeling so scared now. I just want to go home. Though no one used to be there for me but still it was a better and safer place than this.

This bastard, Yogesh Tiwari was my third bodyguard. Like my previous bodyguards, I didn't use to like him. I tried many ways to make him run away but he was very stubborn and maybe he didn't run away because he was planning all this and wanted to be near me to kidnap me. Infact, at that time when I was almost kidnapped, he was my bodyguard. Now I'm getting it. It was all planned by him but by God's grace I got saved because of my friends. Dad fired him when he came to know about it. He said he didn't want a careless bodyguard for his daughter. And now this bastard kidnapped me for my fathers money. He was always behind our money.

I wonder if dad must be thinking same for Laksh now. That he's careless. He didn't take care of me properly. But Laksh is not at fault, not even a bit. He wanted to come with me but I didn't let him. It was all my fault, not his. He's very protective for me.

God please send them soon. I can't handle it anymore. I want my family. I want Laksh.

I felt fresh tears falling on my cheeks as I fought back my sobs. I just want to go away from this man.

I looked at the door as I heard it unlocking and the demon himself entered inside. He was smiling darkly as he stepped closer to me.

"I don't think you need a change of clothes. You're already wearing a lehenga." he said as he sat in front of me.

I looked at him confused. Why do I need to change clothes at first place?

"Just get lost from here." I said angrily.

"Oh, calm down angry lady. The bride shouldn't get so angry." he said with an evil laugh.

I looked at him in shock . What did he just say?

"What nonsense!!!" I groaned angrily.

"We're going to get married in half an hour. You are going to become mine." he said smirking and looking at me with dirty eyes.

"Just stop it. I'm not going to get married to you, not even after my death. You filthy animal." I yelled at him.

I don't even know from where I got that courage and energy. I have never yelled so loud on anyone.

He just laughed and got up.

"I'll come to get you once the arrangements are done." he said before closing the door behind.

No! I can't marry him. He's a monster. I want Laksh. I want to be with him, all my life. He cares for me. He protects me. I feel safe with him. I feel like home whenever I'm with him. I feel like I don't want anything else besides him.

Wait! Do I love him? Is this what people call love? Yes, I love my bodyguard!! I really love Laksh. I'll be his, no one else's. I want to be with my Laksh.

I kept crying until the door got open again and he entered inside. He untied my legs and forcefully pulled me outside with him.

I saw the mandap in the large empty hall and many goons were standing around. There was a pandit sitting near the mandap and a man was pointing gun on his head.

My body started panicking and my heart dropped. He can't do it.

"No! You can't do it. You can't marry me. Just let me go." I shouted as I tried to free myself from him but to no benefit. I couldn't do anything with my hands tied at my back.

He didn't care about what I was saying as he pulled me to the mandap and made me sit. He himself sat besides me. The pandit started chanting the mantras. I kept trying to get away from there but I couldn't. I was feeling so weak because of non stop crying and I didn't even eat anything from so many hours.

"Untie her hands so that she can perform the rituals." said the pandit, shivering with fear.

He signed one of him men to untie my hands. As soon as my hands got free, I pulled the knife which was tucked in the pants of that man. I pointed it at Yogesh.

"Just let me go otherwise I'll kill you." I said trying to be brave.

"Try it! You can't do anything. I know." he said laughing.

I gulped at that. Suddenly something striked me. I brought the knife to my wrist. His eyes widened at that.

"It's better to die than to marry a monster like you." I said as I took a deep breath.

I slid the edge of the knife on my wrist and blood started oozing out of the deep cut. I hissed in pain at that. I started feeling dizzy and fell back on the floor. My eyes started shutting. But before closing my eyes completely, I saw his tall and large figure running towards me in hurry and I knew that he'll save me.

'My Laksh came and now everything will be fine.' I thought before darkness took over me completely.

Laksh

With the help of the clue which Ragini left, we reached the area in the white hills. All of us got inside silently. We saw some men with guns. The police made them surrender by placing guns on their heads smartly. We got inside and what I saw made my heart stop beating.

Ragini was standing with a knife in one hand and blood was oozing out of the wrist of her other hand. She was falling backwards. I started running towards her. I was about to hold her but Mr Gadodia held her before me. He started patting her cheeks while crying. I somehow controlled myself as I took a step back. Worried, scared and shattered were very small words compared to what I was feeling at that time. I was feeling like my life was being snatched away from me. An important part of me was going away from me. My Ragini!

I snapped my head towards the asshole who was the reason for her condition. I held his neck with my hand, in a steel grip as I pushed him to the wall, still holding him. I was getting mad. Only Ragini and her condition was on my mind. Many worse ideas and scenarios were crossing my mind at that time. I felt many people trying to pull me away from him. They were screaming and shouting, telling me to stop but I was in no mood of leaving him before sending him to hell.

Ragini

I felt so low and weak as I slowly opened my eyes, blinking them several times to adjust them according to the light. I then looked at my surroundings and realised that I was at the hospital.

That means I'm alive after my stunt. Congratulations to me!!

A needle was attached to the back of my one hand which was connected to a glucose bottle through a pipe. I looked for any of my family members or Laksh when my eyes fell on my mom who was sitting on the couch in the corner. Her eyes were closed and she was looking very tired.

"Mom..." I tried calling her.

My voice was so low that it was barely audible to me as well.

"Mom..." I tried louder this time.

She opened her eyes immediately and looked at me. She ran towards me.

"Oh my God! Baby, finally you woke up. Are you okay? Are you feeling any kind of pain? Why did you do that? You didn't think about us? You're our only reason to live. We're living just because of you, just for you. How could you do that to yourself?" she asked as tears starts flowing from her eyes.

I shook my head, signing her not to cry.

"I'm okay mom. And I'm sorry for making you worried." I said lowly.

We talked for a while.

"I'll call your dad inside." she said smiling widely before making her way out of the room.

She came back with dad and he also scolded me for my stunt and was also crying. Ryan and Yash also came to meet me and cracked a few jokes to lighten the environment.

Everyone came but Laksh didn't. Where's he?

After sometime, they started leaving to let me take rest. Mom and dad were the first to leave.

"Where's Laksh?" I asked before Ryan and Yash could go out.

Both of them turned to look at me but didn't say anything.

"I asked where's Laksh?" I asked again, louder this time.

"Don't stress yourself Ragini. You need to take rest." said Yash and both of them left.

What the hell? What are they trying to hide?

Where's he? Is he okay? Did something happen to him?

An unknown fear slowly started occupying my heart.
